Honestly, MLS league feels like a retirement home for European football players who aged. So this transfer was expected. Nevertheless, i feel a bit disappointed to see him goes to the Chicago Fire. It'll be far good if he can go to the InterMiami along with Casemiro.
Yet, this is not bad because he finally find his retirement club to play with.

MLS league is not competitive compared to other league like La Liga or premier league even if i am not mistaken there was no relegated system at there which mean the pressure is not too high so, the league like this is suitable to the old players who almost near to retire.

Yup that is the most common option so far after Saudi Pro League of course, the news is that Robert Lewandowski has agreed to 2-year contract with a salary of around $17 million per season yeah that's the 2nd highest salary in MLS after Messi. By the way, several sources also mentioned that Lewandowski received an offer from the Saudi Pro League with a higher salary but for some reason he prefers MLS, I think it's related to his family which is easier to adapt in the US. I thought that replacement might be introduced gradually, with the new player easing into the role while Lewandowski remained as a backup. But it looks like Flick is planning a much more radical overhaul. It's good for him to retire in MLS and earn fat pay because he has given all he can to football and there's nothing bad for him to go for the money instead, of staying in Europe. He can cope in MLS due to his age because the league doesn't have much pressure and it isn't as competitive as European leagues.

Lewa finally made his choice on a club from the MLS league rather than other clubs, previously I thought he would choose an Arab league club, because that league club offered a salary that was as tempting as what was offered by Chicago Fire. I read that Chelsea are making an offer around £30 million, that's a very good offer for a 33-year-old midfielder. They shouldn't try to hold him back to force Chelsea to pay more because that might actually make them leave him and go for another option. Granit Xhaka was the one who can settle in Xabi's tactical plan very well when he was at the Bayern Leverkusen. It's the reason why they try to reunite him with Xabi.

The playing styles of the English national team and Barcelona are very different. Even though Gordon lost out to Rashford on the English national team, he might perform well at Barcelona in the future. Aurelian Tchouaméni?  You're not serious right? I haven't seen any news that says he's leaving the club. On top of that, there's no direct replacement for him. I know José Mourinho has brought Bernardo Silva, and the club still has Jude, Federico Valverde, Arda Güler and rest to build a tough midfield. In these leagues  older players face fewer challenges, allowing them to relax and continue earning money. This may not be the case for all players, but I've seen some older players try to play in less competitive leagues. Even though their speed isn't the same, they can still compete. Cristiano Ronaldo decided to play in the Saudi Arabian League and Lionel Messi played for the MLS and I think it was the best decision for both of them. Some players decide too quickly to play in both leagues, even though they are still able to adapt to a much more competitive league, but they have made a decision and perhaps it has been carefully considered.

Some people don't even have any clue about football, yet they make comparisons like a toddler and wish everyone sees them as Gary Neville's counterpart. The premier is the most competitive league in football as we all know--- A good talent that strives in that league can succeed in any other league, unless they suddenly become injury-prone. Anthony Gordon isn't weak like some people see him to be, he just needs a little bit of player development and also, play time to gain the confidence. Barcelona isn't Real Madrid that won't spare you anytime to develop yourself.
