Barcelona said they would be looking for a replacement for Lewandowski. I thought that replacement might be introduced gradually, with the new player easing into the role while Lewandowski remained as a backup. But it looks like Flick is planning a much more radical overhaul. MLS is a wealthy league, and Lewandowski could earn an excellent contract there, so why not continue his career in the United States?
Wherever Robert Lewandowski goes, I wouldn't be too surprised, as at his age, he only has two options retirement or a move to a lower league. There's no reason for Barcelona to use him anymore. He can enjoy the rest of his time in MLS, and the competition there shouldn't stress him out. I wonder if he's getting paid as much as Rolando with Arabs

He can enjoy the rest of his time in MLS, and the competition there shouldn't stress him out. Lewan isn't completely out of shape, and that shows he's a product of hard work and consistency. When he was signed to Barcelona, I thought the team had lost their mind because he was already 33. Why should anybody bring a striker at that age and sign a 2-year contract in his name for the club? But that was me looking at Lewan from the age perspective because he performed just as planned. Although he experienced some inconsistencies which, of course is normal for any player. He's 37 now and the MSL will suit him better than the donkey leagues if he must preserve his legacies. I haven't checked for the allowance, but it's huge one I know.

Barcelona preferred the signing of Anthony Gordon for €80m over Marcus Rashford for €30m. https://x.com/TouchlineX/status/2070959784715489666They both compete for the same position in the England squad, and now Rashford has BENCHED Gordon for England's third match. Gordon has been criticized for his poor performances, meanwhile Rashford scored a goal and has good cameos off the bench so far. What do you think? In my opinion, this is a manifestation of direct competition. It seems like Barcelona is starting to regret it now. Just imagine, a player who cost so much is actually a backup on the English team. In fact, Gordon’s performance has been so poor that he’s drawn a lot of criticism. I’m surprised that Barcelona chose Gordon over Rashford, who performs much better and is also very affordable.

Wow, now Robert Lewandowski will go to Chicago Fire. MLS looks like it is becoming what the Saudi Arabia wanted to do with their league Now many players like Messi, Suarez, Lewandowski are going there and playing for teams from MLS Confirmed by Fabrizio Romano: https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/2071285448727462392/photo/1Honestly, MLS league feels like a retirement home for European football players who aged. So this transfer was expected. Nevertheless, i feel a bit disappointed to see him goes to the Chicago Fire. It'll be far good if he can go to the InterMiami along with Casemiro. Yet, this is not bad because he finally find his retirement club to play with. MLS league is not competitive compared to other league like La Liga or premier league even if i am not mistaken there was no relegated system at there which mean the pressure is not too high so, the league like this is suitable to the old players who almost near to retire. Messi even choose this league and probably this will being an his last league before retire. For Lewandowski indeed this news is predictable that next season he has two options that stayed in Barcelona if the contract extended and the second one is moved to MLS but since Barcelona decided not used him anymore then MLS is his next league. You can’t compare the MLS, just try and understand the name, Major League Soccer, we don’t call it Soccer, we call it football and that is what it should be called, so you don’t expect them to take that Leagues serious, I have always be very much pragmatic about players who goes to the MLS, because that League is always like a retirement League. Lewandowski is close to retirement and every indication shows that he is going there for retirement, come to think of it he is close to retirement, more like calling it a short and a close right now, we have to understand that this League is a very much different from what we mostly know in the European League.

PSG are planning to sell three players this summer, and it looks like they have already reached agreements on moves to new clubs. Goncalo Ramos is expected to join Milan for €74 million. Lee Kang-in is in talks with Atletico Madrid, while Randal Kolo Muani has agreed personal terms with Juventus. This was reported by Fabrizio Romano on X. I think that after these departures, Luis Enrique will need to start looking for suitable replacements.
For me the three players are not the main squad of PSG, so it is natural that they sell and want to find new players, if the main squad is sold it can be a lot of debate considering the squad is already good with the arrangement that Enrique built. Until now I have not seen PSG to look for other replacement players, maybe after the World Cup they will look for this is just my personal opinion, I see now that the transfer season is getting hotter many other clubs are interested in players who are performing.

But the note is that Anthony Gordon is much younger than Rashford and maybe Hansi Flick has his own goals in choosing players because there are differences from Rashford and also Anthony, although for now Gordon did not perform well in the world cup is not necessarily a regret for Hansi who has agreed and has a five-year contact with Barcelona, according to my personal view in terms of players like Anthony has a different tendency and Hansi Flick has a plan that maybe we don't know how Anthony will be used in the Barcelona squad.

Chelsea is a team owned by a rich person, and has a lot of fans that generate a lot of income, and they are about to sell someone for 100+ million. Combine all of those, and I expected them to splurge like 300 million to give Xabi the best team after having such a bad year.
But so far they have not done anything crazy like that, I guess they are probably waiting for the world cup to end, after that they will start to look for someone. But I am also worried that might be too late, we are talking about leagues starting in august, so they should be making some moves that we are not hearing, otherwise they are not really acting quick enough.

The USA isn't known for football but since the likes of Lionel Messi, Sergio Busket, Luis Suarez, Muller, Son, and many other great players started trooping into there to play in the MLS the league has gained global recognition and more Americans are now beginning to pick up interest in the sport.

A good move for lewandoski, he desperately needed this move, finally he his done with European football. There was a time I was thinking he might be heading to the Saudi league but it good to also see him at MLS, he has now joined the likes of casimero and Griezman who recently moved there. It good to see players of this quality to move to MLS, it will only help strengthen the team, just like how it happening in the Saudi pro league. I still believe a lot of players will move to the MLS before the beginning of next Season. Let see which big name will be moving there next.

Sunderland could be in a tough spot if Chelsea is interested and Xhaka really wants to go to Chelsea. Even though Sunderland is saying they won’t sell him right now, I’m worried there might be other negotiations that could change the situation. Xabi knows Xhaka’s quality, but it will all depend on how Chelsea’s management sees the opportunity.
I expect Sunderland to say that they aren't going to sell Granit Xhaka right now because they want to make Chelsea pass through hard time before they can sign Granit Xhaka in order for them to pay a reasonable amount of money for Granit Xhaka even though he is already 33 years old. Even if Sunderland says they won't sell Xhaka, if the player decides not to stay, the club can't force him to stay, as his performance won't be optimal. We also know Chelsea is a better club than Sunderland. However, if Chelsea wants to acquire him, they need to meet Sunderland release clause to sign Xhaka for the agreed fee. Sunderland will use this opportunity to recruit a player better than Xhaka.

Manchester United are about to sign a player likened to Chelsea and Ecuador's Moises Caicedo (Image: Getty Images
Manchester United is taking the bold step, in building theirs midfield with young players who are hungry to deliver result, this latest player transfers deal is one among multiple other's in the pipeline as preparation or th season ahead intensify, red devils are making sure to complete the good performance they stated in last season after finishing third, this new players transfers is going to position Manchester United or better record in the championship. Moises Caicedo to Manchester United? I strongly doubt that Chelsea will let that happen. Caicedo has been an integral member of the Chelsea team since he arrived the club, he's one of the reasons Chelsea are still considered as a contender for the English Premier League title next season despite even when they've sold Marc Cucurella to Real Madrid and Enzo Fernandez is also on the verge of leaving the club. The Ecuadorian hasn't made any statement that suggests he's not happy with Chelsea again so I don't even think he wants to leave so for now, I'll treat this report as a mere speculation that'll end as rumours. I don’t know where you get it from but it not a valid news. since joining the club Moises caicedo have made it clear that it has been his dream to be a legend at the club, he want to leave a foot print just like the makelele and Kante When he leaves. So saying he his being linked to an immediate rivals is impossible. We have seen Manchester United bringing a new midfield from Atalanta and also working on bringing in Fernandez from westham which will cost around 80million or thereabout. Definitely a new midfield will be coming to Manchester United and it will be of high quality but for sure his name is not Moises caicedo.

After City signed Maresca and paid 17m settlement to the Chelsea. They're now linked to the Malo Gusto's move. I see how close Gusto with Maresca. He's probably one of Maresca favorite player. So he's also potentially to leave from Chelsea, then join in City. Although Chelsea asked a non sense fees for him, which worth 75m, but i believe City can easily pay that without problem. City signed Elliot by breaking a new transfer record. They also sign Maresca + pay settlement. So 75m sounds easy for City. So this moves inevitable.

Chelsea already signed a player who can serve as a fullback and wingback for them already. Losing Gusto will not affect them in anyway. It will just take sometime for him to settle as a new Chelsea player. Malo Gusto though will be headed straight into the Manchester City first team. Not because he previously worked with Enzo Maresca but because he is a natural right back and fullback. I'd take him over Nunes everyday and every time, yeah he had a successful season under Pep Guardiola.

Nunes feels still superior compared to the Gusto. So it makes more sense to see Gusto to be a backup instead of starting line up. We have only Rico Lewis as a backup for Nunes, but if we really sign Gusto. Lewis's career at City is finished.

Both Enzo Maresca and Malo Gusto have good connection each other when Maresca become Chelsea's manager with Gusto get more minutes playing, almost reach agreement deal and waiting the negotiation between Manchester City and Chelsea about how much fees transfer spending for Chelsea's right defender player. Actually Manchester City have many option for right defender position but Enzo Maresca really know about new players and which one position for recruiting next season, currently Manchester City success signing Elliot from Nottingham Forest and paid him 75 million euro, its really expensive fees transfer spending and first recruitment by Enzo Maresca.

The MLS just got another boost, with such moves from legendary players like this it very much likely that the interest rate will continue to grow within the US. The USA isn't known for football but since the likes of Lionel Messi, Sergio Busket, Luis Suarez, Muller, Son, and many other great players started trooping into there to play in the MLS the league has gained global recognition and more Americans are now beginning to pick up interest in the sport.
Some people are mad that Lewandowski went to MLS and the question I asked them is where did they want him to play. Didn't we see the interest of Spanish players all going there, it's because they can adapt In US better than if they go to other places. In term of cultural adaptation, players can adapt to US better than Saudi Arabia. If you remove Al-Nasr players from the face of Saudi professional league, there will be none known players in that league. There should be recognition of other places, I didn't know about Galatassaray at one point, I never even knew some teams from Turkish league joined Champions League. If they can do it and make their self known then other leagues deserve better. US may call their game soccer or it can be another country, it's better if we let it becomes entertaining. Imagine that half of the world dedicate time to watch football, that's billions fifa will be taking home every 7 months.

Robert Lewandowski is transferring to Chicago Fire. He was good at Barcelona, I wish he had stayed for at least one more season. Lewandowski will sign the contract early next week to open a new chapter in MLS. It will be a big transfer. It also saddens me that this guy is leaving Europe without winning the Ballon d'Or.

I like Xabi, but I wonder what Chelsea is trying to achieve by bringing in a 33-year-old player. And if they pay such a high transfer fee, it could be seen as a complete fiasco. Chelsea is a Premier League team, and they don't usually have a policy of signing players this old. I think the Spanish manager is taking a risk right now. There’s news saying that Chelsea has already started negotiations and announced the first offer, but of course Sunderland rejected it. We know Granit Xhaka is a solid midfielder, and you might also remember how well he played at Leverkusen under Xabi’s coaching. So Chelsea might take advice from Xabi on the player they want. Regarding age, of course, it also has to be considered from a business standpoint. But there might also be some deals between Chelsea and Xabi concerning the players he chooses.

That's a very good news to him and his fans, like he's done everything he needs to do in the Europe football, and moving to the Saudi pro league, still seem to be a Borden to him so moving to the MLS is actually the best decision he could have made, because that league is actually not that competitive, yes it's not really competitive compare to the the Saudi pro league, I know most will disagree with me on this one but I've got my facts between those leagues, so he should just go there for his pension, because that's exactly what he's going there for.
