I hope Leão wouldn't end his career early by going to Saudi Arabia at 27 already... I think there would be teams in Europe to be interested in for sure. He is still a talented player in the end.  Smiley

He has just had personal problems at Milan. This has reflected on his performance at the same time. He makes around 6.5 million euros per year without bonuses right now. Not a very high salary to be paid by another European team...

Rafael Leao is no longer having a good time in AC Milan. He has suffered so much criticism from the fans and was not in very good terms with the coach. The constant boos from fans might be becoming unbearable. He made it clear that his time in the club might be over and that he needs a new challenge somewhere else. Since his contract will end in June, 2028, he could easily leave the club.

But I don't think the 27-year-old Portuguese international will accept an offer from clubs outside Europe. He would prefer to remain in Europe and play competitive football. I might be wrong if he is aiming to make money. The SPL or MLS would be a good option if his intention is to make more money.

Firing Ancelotti cannot be a solution. He is quite an experienced coach. If he gets a chance to work with Brazil for 2/3 years, maybe he will be able to make the Brazil squad stronger and more stable.

Ancelotti cannot be blamed for Brazil's defeat against Norway. Still, Brazil fans want Ancelotti fired. Brazil missed the penalty. Can Ancelotti be blamed for this? Endrick missed an easy chance. Also, Haaland's second goal attempt could have been blocked by the Brazilian defenders. It was a defense error. The Brazilian players lost confidence. They made a lot of mistakes in the match.

I also agree with you that Ancelloti should be left to manage this Brazil team because national team needs lots of time to actually build a team most especially from scratch like the way Brazil needed it because let’s be sincere, they needed a total overhaul if we are been honest about it.

But still Ancelloti made mistake but that particular mistakes was also aided by all this federation chairs who wanted him to hand some call ups to certain players, for me he didn’t need a Neymar like he needed a Joao Pedro. The Brazil team yesterday would have been better with Joao Pedro leading the line and most probably Cunha playing just behind him, I still cannot understand why he even had the likes of Endrick and Henrique ahead of Joao Pedro as a striker, he was even better in all round play than even the Igor Thiago of Brentford

Guys, top teams in Europe don’t act like that again, Rapheal Leao have declined in performance even before this past season. A serious club that want to challenge for trophies won’t think about Leao at this moment. Well maybe Saudi might be too soon for him but a top club win europe will also be hard to get. Now that Portugal have crashed out of the World Cup I think he will start looking for a team to play next season.

For me I think he should have left Milan a long Time ago, when he was a hot cake in Europe. He already signal that he want to leave Milan, his relationship and the club has broken. He is got a good agent, maybe they can make magic happen for him.

Even with this loss against Norway and getting knockout it wasnt expected that Brazil sack Ancelotti he is still one of the biggest coaches ever and i think he just needs more time to make something big with Brazil. They missed couple of chances and that penalty just killed the game and this isnt the coaches fault, maybe a different tactic but still if that penalty went in it would have been a whole different story. Too bad we wont be able to see Neymar playing for Brazil anymore really a shame he was a really amazing player to watch.

But with the wave of criticism Brazil received after its defeat at the World Cup then surely the association will make some reshuffles including with the coach just like Germany do now because defeat is certainly a failure regardless of Ancelotti has been in the national team for a long time or not.

On the other hand, I honestly feel that Ancelotti should be enjoying his old age. He can still train and adapt to the development in football but age should be a limit for him because he is 67 years old now and being in Brazil for the next season is a bit complicated because their target now is Copa America preparation in 2028 and I think it would be better to look for a new coach option even though this smells of gambling but in the end this can be an option for the longer term.

Yep that's true....
It's too early for him to go to Saudia Arabia side because right now he is still young and having a lot of quality and honestly in Saudi Arabia he will just waste his career like if he move to Saudia Arabia side then probably they will give him big wages but unfortunately he would deprived to make prestigious career like other stars. There is a lot of European team which can be a better distention for him rather than Saudia Arabia side....

Besides that many European team were also interested in his move like Barcelona, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester united etc. So he should need to pick anyone of it rather than Saudia Arabia because he is young and still can play at Europeans competition.

Do you think that after such a sensational defeat as happened against Brazil yesterday, the Brazilian Football Federation will fire Ancelotti? It seems to me that before the start of this World Cup they extended Ancelotti's contract for a longer period. And now after such a defeat I think that they will have to fire him. If this happens, then in the offseason Nagelsmann will be left without a team, and it is quite possible that Ancelotti will join him. This is already a good choice for clubs.
Let's try to be realistic: Ancelotti just signed a contract extension until 2030 days before the World Cup would start. That means the Brazilian Federation believes in him for the next cycle. And unless they are extremely stupid, they knew Brazil basically had no chance to win the World Cup, the players are simply bad, there is no other way to put it. So, to answer your question, no, absolutely I don't think Ancelotti will be fired.

Snip.
I don’t know whether the news is official yet or not.
But Jürgen Klopp has made the right choice in getting back into the game after an enforced break.
Being the manager of a national team is by no means an easy or less stressful job; in fact, I’d say it’s quite the opposite – if you get it wrong, you’ve got a whole nation pointing the finger at you.

It's true, although there's no official news yet, it's certainly something to wait for the German national team's decision to make. They've been the team that's finished very quickly in two World Cups in a row. This same situation occurred this time, after losing to Paraguay, albeit on penalties. This has forced them to quickly find a new sensation so they can be like the previous seasons, when they were always the favorites among certain parties.

I think this is very fitting, especially since it's been a long time since Jurgen Klopp coached. His last time in charge of Liverpool, when he was Liverpool's manager, successfully delivered numerous titles, so I also believe it's time for Klopp to give his best for his hometown team. Several coaches have failed to deliver the best performance for the German national team, the nickname for the Panzer. We'll have to wait and see what the German Football Federation decides on the German national team coach, whether it's Jurgen Klopp or someone else.
Klopp has never done international football before. And I am not saying that to be negative as i do think he is the right guy. However, it is worth noting. Liverpool took him time. Dortmund before that took time. It is always a rough time in between till it clicks. That is not exactly the runway that you have with your national team, is it? Every few months you receive a few games and then it is a tournament and everyone expects answers.

I am also still pondering the age of the team. That 40 year old goalkeeper situation. Neuer came out of retirement to play in this World Cup. Well done to him, what a a career! However it was a sign of how the DFB was still clinging to the past. Could not get rid of them. Klopp will let go. That is one thing I am certain of.

Wirtz and Musiala are 23 years old. Both of them. If Klopp constructs around that well in the next two-three years, the ceiling is very high.

Of course, these are all factors to bear in mind, but Germany also have plenty of strong players and a solid foundation, and I don’t think Jürgen Klopp will find it particularly difficult to manage this national team.
Just look at Italy at the moment – they’ve got serious problems, whereas Germany don’t.
I’m sure Klopp will do a brilliant job with the national team too.

Klopp has rested enough, and I think it's time for him to return to football. The German national team is an ideal option for that, in my opinion, because they had a very bad tournament and were eliminated by Paraguay. I think we saw the worst German national team in history. Considering that Germany is normally a tournament team, a change of manager was necessary because of this failure.

It is not early. The right place for Rafael Leão to go is the Saudi Pro league because he has ruined his career since last season. Clubs were tripping for Rafael Leão last summer. Rafael Leão rejected all of them and signed a long term deal with his club. Rafael Leão sat on the bench in the just concluded season. He did not have a decent season at all. No club now wants him as they are looking for better options.

Liam Rosenior is back in the Ligue 1... After a great journey at Strasbourg he attracted attention from bigger teams. Chelsea signed him but their relationship didn't go great.

He got sacked in a very short time! He was just wasted there though because of horrible team management by Chelsea owners.

Now it is nice to see him back in France. I believe in him to do well with Paris FC.

Congratulation to him on his new job, I honestly don't see him as a bad coach, just that he took a job that is way above his league, and it's because of that he started messing up the more under pressure, so I believe that he can do well at Paris, just as he did at Strasbourg.
What he just needs for him to do well in this his new team is the total support from the hierarchy, from the transfer market to giving him enough time to do his job, so if all that is granted, he would have no excuse not to deliver good results on the pitch.

Raphael Leao is really a talented player and this World Cup exposed his excellence. His speed and flare on the ball is on another level though he still has a lot of improvements to work on but he is truly a future prospect. It would be really early that he moves to Saudi at 27, as we know its mostly about the money and not the passion.

I would want to believe that with his performance in the World Cup, other European clubs should be coming for him before the close of windows. There are rumors that Barcelona and Tottenham are interested in Leao though his contract still hasn't expired in AC Milan yet. Where do you think he would play next season?

Saudi Arabian clubs are offering huge salaries, and that has had some influence on Leao’s decision, he seems to be starting to consider a move to the SPL. I also hope that Leao doesn’t go to the SPL just yet; after all, at 27 years old and still performing well, it shouldn’t be too difficult for him to find a club in Europe. After all, there are reportedly several clubs in Europe interested in him. But who knows, maybe Leao wants to go to the SPL solely because of the huge salary offer.

He had the opportunity to manage one of the biggest team in England and make history with them but he wasn't capable of doing a good job that's why he got sacked, well it's good that he was able to land another job ahead of next season and it's a familiar environment that he's had experience before joing Chelsea so I expect he either secure them a UEFA competition or avoid getting relegated.

Paris FC is a smaller club compared to Chelsea, the players in his new team would be easy to manage, and eager to develop better so his new job would be more easier than the previous one. Goodluck to be him, I'm hoping for a positive result from him this time around.

A good look at his standard, he wasn't the right man to coach Chelsea, he was given enough time and he didn't show any prove that he was worth the opportunity. Chelsea is a big club, same with the Premier League, not all managers can survive in the league, same with players that leaves the Premier League and turns key play for whichever club they are signed into.

Congratulations to Liam, Paris FC is not a bad club, he will compete against top club PSG, if he can transform the club to surpass their limits, he might actually make it into the Champions League.

One thing I like about Saudi Arabia clubs is that the don't mind paying any huge amount of money where it goes to acquiring competent players to their team, and this is one thing I wanted us to also consider as a major factor that lead to an increase in boosting a particular team for supportive performance if they are not financially arrogant in going for the best at all cost, you can see from other teams in Saudi Arabia and how they have been acquiring more players into their local teams, a good example was Ronaldo.

This transfer frenzy actually started with Cristiano Ronaldo. The Saudi Arabian team that bought Cristiano Ronaldo started an influx of players into Saudi Arabia. Previously, Saudi teams only signed average players, but now they've turned to stars and started paying very high prices. This has begun to increase the quality of the league. In this respect, the Saudi league has significantly improved in terms of quality. Saudi teams won the Asian Cup, and if this continues, it will likely persist.

Raphael Leao is really a talented player and this World Cup exposed his excellence. His speed and flare on the ball is on another level though he still has a lot of improvements to work on but he is truly a future prospect.

He's a 27-year-old player who, in this World Cup, played 5 games, scoring only 1 goal and providing 1 assist. Even at Milan, he's wasted good opportunities when he's in front of almost certain goals, but he misses. I honestly doubt that any big European club will want him. The best thing would be for him to stay at Milan and start improving his skills; when he reaches his peak, many big clubs will be looking for him. Now, if he leaves Milan and goes to the Saudi league, thinking that the Saudi league is so easy, he'll be disappointed. He won't succeed. The Saudi league also has good players and requires effort as well. It's not like he'll succeed without running and thinking he'll score goals easily and earn a lot of money.

Mate, Leao is 27 and reportedly earns 6.5 million euros, including bonuses. How much is being offered in the SPL? If they're offering 7–8 million euros, it makes sense for him to stay in Europe, but if the offer is 10 million euros or more, I’d go right away.
He can't know what will happen next year. Offers like this might not come again. SPL teams won't be making offers to Leao every year.
