I think that Santos is a young player who has quite potential.. even though he has fewer playing minutes at Chelsea, but still as a rotating player he does a pretty good job. so in this case maybe Man United wants to make a long-term project on this young player. I can't comment much on him, but hopefully this transfer is a successful transfer for Man United.

and if I'm not mistaken, there is another Brazilian player who will be brought in by Man United, namely Danilo Santos.. but Man United is still in the negotiation stage to bring him in.. it seems that Man United really loves Brazilian players.

Congratulations to Manchester United on signing Andre Santos from Chelsea, he is not a bad player but didn’t have good time in Chelsea; therefore, we can’t conclude that the player is not good enough for Manchester United, we only need to wish them well and the players as well because the team is dedicated to create a strong team that will make the team proud; and since Casameiro has left the team, they need midfielder to replace him so that it will not affect the team performance generally. It's a bit hard to believe Fulham can improve in the next season, or even two. Squad depth is crucial for competing in the EPL, and significant improvements take a long time. So, it's simply a matter of how Fulham's management supports Arbeloa, and if he's given the freedom to bring in the players he wants, perhaps gradual improvement can occur over the next few seasons.

I won't take Fulham serious this season, they finished 11th previously and they were among the tough teams to compete against, with a different head coach, not in charge of new signings only to work with players giving to him by the club, I don't think he can seriously do much for his first season.

I respect this deal. Santos have sat on the bench a lot of times for Chelsea. I am yet to see his full potential. Who knows, Santos will be a better signing for Manchester United. Perhaps much better than their previous target.

It seems Manchester have interest on Brazilian midfielders. The first signing Ederson from Atalanta is a Brazilian, and Santos is  Brazilian. Maybe Casemiro has shown them how better Brazilian can play as a midfielder.

Let’s be honest there is no too difference between this lad and the Matheus Fernandez guy except the lack of minute but the only thing that makes me scare of this kind of deals is that once it fails it is like Manchester United gave away 50 million to their rivals to reinforce themselves and this is actually bad. I personally think that they are many players available for such amount. I would have easily gone for French midfielder Manu Kone who is a physical central midfielder and is a very good ball carrier in my opinion. If Manchester United ended up signing the other Brazilian Ederson then it will be two similar players been spent close to a million on. Fulham this season looks really bad and with how the other teams are looking currently i think they will fight for survival. They have been long in the premier league in the middle of the league but this season i think they will get relegated. I think they should have gotten some big transfer to help them out. Didnt follow them much in this transfer window but havent seen anything from them,maybe they got some players under the radar and hopefully those players can keep them in the league.

You know the good thing about football is the fact that nobody can easily predict how each team will perform in the next league competition season, at the moment Jose Mourinho will look like the next best thing after sliced bread to Real Madrid at the moment, but trust me there might be an underdog team somewhere that might have assembled a squad that will take everybody unaware, so despite the fact that they are giving Mourinho his flower as a special one, they only know that he is not going perform magic, he will only bring in his tactical knowledge, if it doesn't work, then people can start castigating. The league title is been pursued by 20 other clubs, the better team will definitely win it.

I can give credit to Madrid management how they make money from has old player just look a Fern Garcia Case they created the Released Clause of 40$ million they sell the players and when they see they need him so they created the Released Clause and it will be half of the selling price that's how madrid made money from has players.  Feran are good player but they really did show has talent and in other words we can say they didn't give much minutes to him. Fern is undoubtedly a good player with real talent. He showed his potential at Rayo Vallecano and Madrid whenever he got chance. But yeah especially because of Madrid's current squad depth he hasn't had chance to play regularly here. I saw Cucurell starting, Carreras as a backup, Mendy recovering. So sacrificing some player like him to make room for new recruits make perfect sense with Mourinho's plan. Fern is better off going to Betis. It frees up Madrid's squad space and salary cap. They get some cash & sell on percentage. And the player also gets his game time. In betis he can play regularly under Pellegrini and show his abilitiy

If this deal happens any moment from now I believe the Barcelona squad will be deadly and it can match Madrid next season. Dortmund are very good at having quality players but making good use of them is a big problem, with the number of quality players they have they can't stay consistent in winning titles and when they sell these players they do very well in their new club and win trophies too.

If this deal happens I think Barcelona next season will be more dangerous than we think because Barcelona are already making the main target Alvarez and they already sign Gorden for that's left wing if Gorden can't perform good they can use adeyemi they have pace they have technical abilities to be the backup of Gorden.  I think Barcelona are sign ademyemi just as a backup player because they can't go with carzy offer the fish bid for adeyemi are only 20$ million and BVB want 40$ million the gap between these 2 club are very much high but adeyemi already agreed personal term with barcelona and their contract is only 1 year left so BVB can't take any risk and I think they are happy with 20 million offer but let's wait we can see the final here we go soon.

I've been reading that "Garnacho is a young player with potential for development" for years at this point. And until now he changed teams, he changed managers, the only thing that never changed is the fact that he doesn't play. So at this point I think there is something wrong with him, not sure if it's the attitude, his professionalism or what else. He must step down and move to a smaller team.

He actually has the capacity and opportunity to be a great player. His dribbling is good, his speed is above average but Garnacho's problem is sometimes in attitude and even Bruno directly said in some interviews (CMIIW) that Garnacho's attitude and work ethic is not very good.

His attitude is not very good for the size of a young player and this is what sometimes makes it quite difficult for him to adapt to the coach's scheme because he has a hard time controlling his attitude.

Though if he had a little bit better nature I feel that Garnacho's performance could be much more than this and he will definitely improve a lot.
But it will be a little difficult to change if Garnacho always holds on to his own self-confidence and if there is perhaps he must be faced with a coach who has a high enough discipline to change him slowly.

Look, I'm Italian, during the years I saw players like Cassano and Balotelli who had an incredible potential but they completely lacked the mentality: being a professional football player goes beyond the pitch. I don't know Garnacho's situation in detail but clearly there is a problem somewhere. If he doesn't change his approach to football he is going to waste his career. Sure, he'll make a ton of money anyway, but for somebody who always looked up to Cristiano Ronaldo there are higher hopes.

Audrey Santos to Manchester United is a transfer that I did not see coming and I believe it was a bit rushed too. This Brazilian player might not be the best replacement for Casemiro but I hope he thrives in his new club.

This 22 years kid has a lot of potential. I think he can play either number 6 or number 8. This is exactly the kind of versatile midfielder they need to strengthen their squad. I saw some highlight and clip of Santos last season, his line breaking passes and energy were really impressive. I agree that he is not a fully fledged player yet. But that is the real fun, mate. Because in new setup he will have lot of opportunities to improve.

Manchester United have not gotten the best outcome from any player signed from Chelsea just yet and I really hope this signing would not end up in regrets as well.

But this deal of £48m with £2m add ons seems like decent value for a young player of this profile to me. Especially compared to the price that top midfielders are going for these days.

I don't know why Chelsea sanctioned this particular transfer, but I sees it as a very big mistake that they may regret later in the future because this player is a decent player that do not disappoint anytime he is given an opportunity, so I don't know why they are letting him go so cheaply.

Though they have some good midfield players like caceido, Latvia and esugo in midfield already, but due to the bad injury record of Latvia and esugo, they should have sold any of those two, not this Andrey Santos that is a decent defensive midfielder.

You made a very good point here, and I agree with your point here because if they can have a top talent like adeyemi as a cover up, the constant absence of raphinha wouldn't be felt much, but if their is no quality replacement, things will be more difficult than it should have been.

Hansi flick should know better that their defense needs even more attention than the attacking front because if they rely on the defense that they used last season without strengthening those areas, they will regret it because real madrid will be much stronger than they were last season, since Jose Mourinho is their new manager. So they need to address that department of the team before the end of the transfer window if they want to be very competitive.

A great signing for Manchester United. Santos is a talented young midfielder, and he has the potential to become a great player in the future if he’s coached by the right manager. To help Santos develop, Carrick needs to give him enough playing time. I think the partnership between Santos and Ederson will make Manchester United’s midfield formidable.

Xabi Alonso has officially started his job at Chelsea by the way. Still I would have loved to see him managing Liverpool but... They just acted interestingly by deciding not to sack Slot first and in a short time changing their mind.

I just checked Manchester United's transfer records for next season and so far they are relying on young players from local academies U18 and U21 so we can't be sure whether the manager will recruit new players from other clubs. One of the rumors circulating about Marcus Rashford, If no other clubs are interested in him it is likely he will be part of the Manchester United squad next season well, his arrival might help the attack line. I also see Jadon Sancho on the free transfer list even though when Man United brought him in they spent 85 million lol, there should be a lot of clubs interested in him especially as he is still 26 years old unless he wants a high salary then he will be ignored.

It's fucking nuts, of course. He's only 26 years old, but his price dropped from $85 million to a free agent, lol! And this is in such an inflated market! United have an option to extend his contract for free (for a year), but they decided not to use it because Sancho's salary is 200 thousand a week and it is not a fact that they will be able to sell him. It will be interesting to see where Sancho can go and what salary he can get now, they say he wants to return to Dortmund.
