So far, Tottenham and Manchester have been the teams that have spent the most money in the transfer market. Tottenham has been the most aggressive so far. They’ve already signed
- Sandro Tonali from Newcastle
- Mateus Fernandes from West Ham
- Jan Paul van Hecke from Brighton

And it looks like that number will continue to grow.
For a team that almost got relegated in the last two Premier League seasons, they are supposed to be aggressive in the transfer market. I'm happy with the few players Robert De Zerbi has added to his team so far, one can now confidently say Tottenham Hotspur will play better next season, even though they don't finish in the top four with all the money they have spent, I see them finishing in a position better than the ones they finished in the 2024/2025 and 2025/2026 Premier League season.

De Zerbi changes teams too often, he was brought in Tottenham to keep them in the English Premier League, and he accomplished his goal. They're weak in the transfer market, and judging their performance next season based solely on these transfers isn't worth it. If the team starts playing poorly, De Zerbi could be sacked too. But they played very well in the end with him.

Xabi Alonso will get all the support he needs in the transfer market if he wishes to make some new signing, but as you have said already, the competition in the league is massive,so he can't afford not to strengthened his Chelsea team. Nicholas Jackson and few other players that has returned from their loan spell looks like a new signing,  so I believe that if he is going to add more players to the team, it's going to be in defence, like a replacement for cucurella and one or two experience center back that can bring maturity and quality to their defense. I expect him to do well at Chelsea because he is a manager that knows what he is doing and is very good tactically.
Chelsea already has enough players who can give their contribution in the coming season, but still, it's all about Xabi Alonso, what he wants to do, and how things will work out better for him because he understands challenges in the Premier League, and it's never been easy to stay on a good level without having good players.

Defense is surely an issue for them in the last season having a few good players will be enough. This will keep them in touch for challenging top teams and also have their top 4 spot back, even if it's going to be a tense season. Too many changes in many clubs increase competition at the top, but Chelsea always has a way to go ahead and take their best.

Christos Tzolis to Arsenal, here we go! Deal signed between the two clubs for a €40m fee, Club Brugge has authorized Christos for a medical.

Based on Trossard's exit to Besiktas, Arsenal has facilitated the deal with Tzolis and Club Brugge.

New winger for Arteta as Tzolis only wanted Arsenal, saying no to other clubs.

In my opinion, Christos Tzolis is a great signing for Arsenal. I just looked at his stats with Brugge last season, and it turns out he had an outstanding performance, scoring 17 goals and recording 23 assists. Tzolis’s arrival is expected to strengthen Arsenal’s left wing.

And it looks like that number will continue to grow.

Meanwhile, Manchester City has broken the record for the most expensive domestic transfer by signing Elliot Anderson reportedly for 116 million pounds.

Other teams are currently making similarly aggressive moves. And I think next season in the Premier League will indeed be an even more intense one, with even more surprises.

For Tottenham, we can guess and they have to take this step to improve their performance, yeah as we know Tottenham almost got relegated last season of course they don't want to repeat the same mistakes next season. So far Tottenham have spent €267 Million for 3 players and as said this value will continue to increase until the end of the transfer window, my prediction is probably around 400-500 million.

For Manchester City, it seems the new manager wants to build the squad through young players, of the 4 players who have been brought in, all of them are under 23 years old yeah this is an indication that they are implementing long term investment.

I don’t know if he is a grate signing for Arsenal, well I have never seen him play football, I don’t even know the player very well, Anyways it’s a good signing for Arsenal fans, who is more interested in their club bringing any player to the club, Talking about the number of goals and assists he has in the Belgium League, I don’t know if Champions League is included, but do you think he can score as much goals and assists that he has with Club Brugge in the Premier League and Champions League with Arsenal ?, Can he replicate that numbers for Arsenal, Time will tell, if that is Trossard replacement, personally I will stick with Trossard.

I would really love to see him in the Premier League.

And even if he fails to win the FIFA World Cup Competition, he'd still remain an elite midfielder.

He will always be amongst one of the greatest midfielders to play this game of football.

Atlétic, Physical, Technical, A leader and also a goalscorer.

The 2010 Spanish side was fortunate to win it with Sergio Busquet, hopefully they can do same with Rodri.

I was one of those guys that said he didn't deserve the Ballon d'Or award. Until I started paying full attention to him in the Premier League. It became clear to me why Pep Guardiola suffered with Manchester City when Rodri was injured for 10 months.

On his return, Manchester City came back stronger, competing for the league alongside Arsenal last season. I couldn't help but take back the words that were said against Rodri. He is arguably the best defensive midfielder in the world for years. He deserves any award.

Arsenal have signed a good player and he is a very good and talented player, he is one of the players that help Club Brugge this season and signing from Club Brugge means that he is very good, the player can help Arsenal if Arteta give him a playing time because Arteta is one of the managers that kills young players talent, the reason why I said he kill young players talent is because he has players like Nwaneri and Downman and he did not give them a chance to play because he want to play the defensive football he knows how to play.

Another reason why Arteta will not use the player too much next season is because he will think he need to adapt to the league, players like Havertz and Gabriel Jesus should not be a player Arsenal will be depending on because they are old players that always get injured, using young players and fast attackers is what Arsenal football club need and that is what affects them in the Champions League final against PSG.

One of the best pillars currently possessed by Manchester City and Spain. The line of play in any team's formation is the mainstay as the ball always flows through the midfielders. If the midfielders aren't active I think the team will suffer. Currently the midfield of both teams is very fortunate to have Rodri.

During Pep's time as Man City coach there was no such thing as a player being on the bench unless he was injured so it was natural for him to be there and not be included in the scheme or line up in the match and he managed to become a player who won the Ballon d'Or at that time after successfully becoming a champion in the UCL competition at that time. I think now if he succeeds in bringing Spain to win the World Cup, it is not impossible that he will again become a player who will have one title.

This should be a good move for Arsenal at an average cost which would reduce the pressure or expectations for an outstanding performance and should help the player express himself to full potential. Arsenal has a record of signing players at an average cost of €40-50 million which has worked out the best for them this past few years signing less recognized players with potentials.

With his performance at Club Brugge, we have more to expect from him at Arsenal with the right players and right environment. This should be the most proper winger Arsenal has signed aside Madueke in the past four years and I hope he delivers and does not flop because of the Premier league pressure.

8 months?  Grin I think it was irony from Fabricio, since everyone knows that Zidane has been waiting for a place in the French national team for several years. He'll finally be coaching the French national team, which is good news for French fans. Deschamps was good, but he didn't go above and beyond - he was delivering the expected results. Zidane is something else - he's more ambitious, and I think under him the team won't show the same lackluster performances they did against Spain.

I think Zidane had been wanting the France manager’s job for at least three or four years, now there’s a generation of absolute stars, and in four years’ time they will all be at the peak of their technical and athletic abilities. Having won three Champions Leagues with Real Madrid, if he were to win a World Cup or a European Championship with France as well, we would be looking at one of the very best managers in history in terms of the ratio of matches played to trophies won.

He already has unique achievements, looking at both his career as a player and his career as a coach, but he wants to become even better  Cool
I don’t like his pickiness a little (he reminds me of the cunning Pep who has never worked with anything but an elite team and thinks of himself as a good coach). But I can forgive Zidane for this  Cheesy And yes, France has an incredible selection of players, the only thing missing is a coach who can assemble an equally incredible team from this pool. I think Zidane has every chance of becoming that coach.

With the kind of players that Tottenham have recruited and are still willing to recruit, I’m sure they will make Europe next season. One good thing about their recruitment policy this summer is that they are signing players with premier league experiences, they are not going for players that will take time to settle into the league before bringing out their best. They are going for the already settled players in the league. So there is no excuse for the club next season on why they wouldn’t do well.

I think he's a very good signing and has a lot of potential. Whether he succeeds at Arsenal will rely on the opportunities he gets i realise Arteta's has been cautious with young players , but at the same time breaking into a club challenging for major trophies isn't easy if this new signing performe well in training and takes his chances when they come he could become an important player for Arsenal, the Squad definitely needs more squad and direct attacking options especially in big matches.

Spence and Romero's performances must have impressed Inter so much that they are said to have an intention to go for both. However I don't think De Zerbi would like any of them to be sold...

Because he is working on consolidating the squad for next season. He can't lose 2 important players all of a sudden. I don't think the board would like it either.

Tottenham doesn't even need money as it seems from their spendings. Inter should look somewhere else.

One good performance in worldcup can change your fortune and this the case which is happening with Spence and Romaro they both play very good worldcup and both are Top player most of the are now wanting him but I think Romario can chose Between Barcelona and Atletico because they both can have they same playing style which Romario want it. Spencer are also very much in need a top class club and I think they can sign with English club maybe Manchester united and Manchester City can sign him. Because they are from England and they love to play for theirs own club as of joining other country club.

Tottenham Hotspur very loyal for the summer window transfer spending much money for signing top three players so far from Sando Tonali, Mateus Fernandez and Jan Paul van Hecke. The current transfer of Tottenham Hotspur still not stop yet if reach agreement deal for selling Cristian Romero and Djed Spence to Inter Milan have much fresh money to sign new star player again.

Manchester City looks not really aggressive for the current transfer window such as how loyal spent out much money under Pep Guardiola era, likely Enzo maresca as new manager want to sign youth players and really selective which players have to sign for next season competition. I think after World Cup 2026 over we can see many deal agreement reach and several players waiting until the World Cup announce their future club.

When I truly believed that Rodri is worth the hype is in their treble winning season, because he was the brain behind their success that season, and just as you have already said, anytime he is absent in that Manchester City team, their performance and form always drop because he doesn't have a replacement in that team that brings such quality and dominance in the midfield.

Against the french team, his performance on that day was a pure masterclass, which was instrumental in taming the treat pose by the french attack.

He is welcome to Arsenal and I guess he was signed because of Leandro Trossard so that the position will be in hands of a good player, actually Leandro Trossard also came from the same Belgian league as Christos Tzolis to be part of arsenal, so it will certainly be a very good and compatible replacement for him. Christos Tzolis wouldn't have said no to Arsenal because they are the light of England for now and besides there players excel more than how they are on their league whenever they come to premier League and in Arsenal to be precise so actually next trophy has started making shape for Arteta.

That was why I have been saying, next season will not be easy the top 5 teams. But upon all the transfer going, I have not heard anything from Liverpool, though I am not following the transfer market like that and I do check up once a while. Not only Tottenham Hotspur but others will rise too. Moat of the club were observing players from the world and they will be picking players from the world cup performances.

The only thing that thing that could make the transfer possible is if they'll force transfer out of Tottenham to play Champions League with Inter Milan but I doubt Tottenham would lose two players to Inter not when they both did well in the World Cup especially Romero, he was solid and paired well with Lizandro Martinez.

Tottenham's rebuilding and need their important players, Romero experience is highly needed for this rebuilding stage, De Zerbi won't even permit such cause he knows how important it is to have a solid defender like Romero so Inter could focus on Spence then channel their attention elsewhere for a center back.
