The main fact here is that Barcelona badly need a worthy replacement for lewandowski. For that, Alvarez is their best  option. Alvarez's style of  play also suits Barcelona. He is a young and talented footballer. Since PSG has no intention of selling him, they are demanding a high price.
If he wants to leave, the club looking to sign him will have to pay that amount.
Staying at PSG would also be good for him; for PSG, the goal is always to win the Champions League—rather than just Ligue 1—and they are the strongest contender to achieve that.

Of course PSG are asking a high price for him but I think it also depends on what the player wats to do: Doue improved a lot during the last 2 years, and many times he was the starter and Barcola would be benched. He is officially the newest Arsenal player and a here we go has been agreed. I am yet to see him play, but we will see to that eventually in the coming weeks.

The signing of Christos Tzolis was crucial for Arsenal in order to replace Leandro Trossard and i think that the Club Brugge player will enjoy a new experience in the Premier League and he can adapt quickly because being in a team that just won the EPL is a different feeling altogether. Arsenal is really trying in making a good step towards the new season and it is to show that they are preparing to defend the title. I see some people saying that Arsenal are not signing quality players but they haven't even checked the statistics of those players to see how they performed in their former teams before moving to Arsenal. Christos Tzolis is a good signing IMO.

I'm a bit curious... What's your definition of professionalism?.
Is this the first case where a Club refuses to sell a player?. In as much as I would like to see Alvarez in Barce's Jersey, I think it's also best that we try to look at it from the Atlectico Madrid's pov. Alvarez is literally their best player, and the club still has plans for him. I think it's a bit unfair to point all fingers at them, while failing to see that it's also matter of rivalry and competition. I don't think any club would willingly sell its best player to it's rivals, especially for an amount that is not that significant if we choose to judge based on the current overpricing in world football.

Let's not forget that psg refused to sell mbappe to Real Madrid, not until the player had to run down his contract and choose to leave for free. Alvarez's situation is a bit tight judging by the fact that he still has about 4 years left in his contract. Let's see how it goes.

It's a sense transfer. Xabi often used two playmakers for his tactical plan. So adding morgan rogers will help him to execute his plan well in the future. However, it sounds weird to see how much Chelsea pays for him. £117m for him is beyond my imagination.

I don't see that as a hijack cause Arsenal has already signed Tzolis to replace Trossard so the hunt for a left winger is already settled, if Rogers was a major target I don't think they would've gone for Tzolis or signed him before Chelsea even thought of paying Aston Villa that amount for Rogers.
 Well he's a good player, although what Chelsea are paying is too much but Rogers is one of the best left winger in the Premier League so his experience would be a good addition to Xabi Alonso's squad. Aston Villa has lost good players, first it was Youri Tielemans to Manchester United, now Rogers to Chelsea.
