The Palmer and Rogers thing is true. They were introduced together at City. They're actual mates. Palmer literally took Rogers' celebration and trademarked it lmao. It's a culture with the European clubs not being interested in hiring the services of an aged player and which also it doesn't take much for the current club to discard them immediately their previous contract time elapses. Chelsea didn't hijack the deal. Obviously, Morgan Rogers will choose Arsenal over Chelsea any day.

Last time I checked, Arsenal didn't offer Aston Villa 117m to sign Rogers. Chelsea actually went higher for the deal, and sure, Arsenal was never going to pay more than 100m for that player. I am at a loss for words because these transfer fees don't make any sense. Before Elliot Anderson to Manchester City, now Morgan Rogers to Chelsea for basically the same amount of money. I feel Chelsea has the money or rather the financial freedom to sign any player they want but the problem they tend to have is there wage structure which always ties to the performance of that players, I think of all the top teams in Europe, they have one of the lowest wage row. To throw more light to Chelsea's wage structure, Gordon that was signed for 80m, his wage is q whooping 300k per week while Rogers is only 150k

Seeing this transfer of 117m I think it's high time we stop dissing Barcelona for the signing of Gordon for just 80m, so a regular started at England, it's worth it.

Mohammed Salah is still up to the standard to play for some big clubs in Europe. And I am sure that some clubs will like to bring him. But the problem will be the contract. Due to his age, clubs might likely offer a one-year deal, and his salary would have to be slashed to a large extent. This would be the price he has to pay to remain in a big club.

But he would get a longer contract and higher wage if he moves to the MLS or the SPL. They might offer him a two years and above deal and his earnings might be thesame or even higher than what he earned in Liverpool.

The Atletico Madrid chairman doesn't look like he will take any step back from his decision which is not to sell him now. There is still time for the end of the month but I don't know.

It seems that many clubs outside Europe have indeed been waiting for Salah’s contract with Liverpool to expire. Now that his contract has ended, Salah has immediately become the subject of a bidding war in the transfer market among clubs from the MLS and SPL.

Reportedly, two MLS clubs, Sporting Kansas City and San Diego FC, are also interested in signing Salah, and the offers they’re preparing are said to be quite substantial. 

In addition, two clubs from the Saudi Pro League, Al-Hilal and Al-Ahli, are also reportedly set to make substantial offers to M. Salah. This is reportedly due to the very high salary being offered. It’s also possible that SPL teams view M. Salah as a player who can help maximize their long-term projects. However, M. Salah himself does not seem to have decided where he will go as of yet. He is reportedly still on vacation with his family.
