If Chelsea can sell Garnacho to the Aston Villa. I admit they're genius in doing football business. Garnacho has been so shite since he came to the club. So they have no reason to retain him for another season. He's also being excluded from Xabi's pre season squad.
So i see it better for him to go to the Aston Villa. Loan + buy clause sound bad, but the thing that i'm concerning is that Villa may also sign him + jackson from Chelsea.

If Chelsea can offload both of players to Aston Villa. It's a big W for them.

So Aston Villa has been the sewage deposit, lol. Honestly time to time Aston Villa tends to do this periodic spontaneous loan moves for players, it feels like every transfer window they get to move for one loan player and they are doing it again and am 99% sure they won't trigger the buy option, they did it with Sancho, Malen and the rest
They previously signed Rashford on loan as well. These players have had successful seasons at Aston Villa. Emery also seems to want to utilize Garnacho this year. He knows he's not considered by Chelsea. I think he's a good player and he trusts him. The Argentinian could perform well at Aston Villa. I think Aston Villa's loan strategy makes a lot of sense for the club because they can get good players to perform at their best for Aston Villa on a temporary basis without spending a lot of money.

Regardless, Chelsea will not make profit in Garnacho’s deal, they will lose money because he was signed last season and wasn’t able to give them any outstanding performance, he is a player that has made the wrong move form Manchester United and now another move to Aston Villa.

Chelsea wanted selling him not to let him go on loan to any club, but if they didn’t see any offer to buy the Argentine, they will be forced to let him go on loan maybe with any bid that gives an option to buy after the Lin spell because I am sure that he is a surplus to requirement for Chelsea as he is not part of Alonso’s plan.

However, he can be a good signing for Aston Villa since they are about to sell some of their players, they will need replacements, and a premier league proven player will be better, that’s why they wanted Garnacho.

The issue of Dominik Szoboszlai being targeted by Real Madrid has finally been revealed. Dominik Szoboszlai has extended his contract until 2031. This situation obviously closes the possibility of Dominik Szoboszlai moving to Madrid for the time being. Dominik Szoboszlai is only 25 years old, so he still has plenty of time to develop his abilities.

Szoboszlai is a master of set pieces. It's no surprise that he's a target for Real Madrid, but spending money on him at this stage doesn't make sense. I don't think it's logical to spend money on the Hungarian player while Olise's transfer is being discussed. Funding should be generated for Olise, if that transfer is even possible. Real Madrid is rapidly progressing towards becoming an invincible team.

Arsenal are also interested in joining the race for Diomande, and such strong interest in the player will drive up his price. PSG are currently the most active in negotiations, and they aim to reach an agreement with the player by the end of this week. I believe PSG should have reached an agreement with Leipzig on a transfer fee in June, as the current heightened demand could push the transfer fee even higher.
The best price will collect the best players in this open window of transfer. Arsenal meet the agent but the price is on the high side for them to consider. Itis costly at €100 millions or €120 millions. And almost all the top five teams in the Premier League and PSG too. The best price will take him. And now that the world cup is over. Clubs are looking for the best to take now.

What about Dembele and Kane? these two guys are also very deserving of the Ballon d'or, Dembele performed well with 6 goals and 2 assists in the World Cup. Kane 6 goals and 1 assist, moreover at their respective clubs they are both consistent goalscorers and don't forget Dembele delivered PSG their UCL title defence, I hope the votes to decide the Ballon d'or winner don't disappoint me.

This award is beyond goals and assist. I think in world cup year, Ballon D'or winner normally come from the team that win the world cup irrespective of performance of other players in other tournaments. This is how it should be because the world cup is big enough to qualify the winner for the Ballon D'or. The last time Messi won it was because he won the world cup, he had little contribution in other competitions. So Spain won the world cup and the Ballon D'or winner should automatically come from that team.

I think Aston Villa's loan strategy makes a lot of sense for the club because they can get good players to perform at their best for Aston Villa on a temporary basis without spending a lot of money.

I think that Aston Villa knows how to take advantage of teams that are having unsettling season with their players and how the players agree to the move is what baffled me. Didn't Gharnaco see the pattern of what teams are doing to loan player or is it that they know about it but don't care or know and has accepted their faith the way their market has been, but I'm very certain that if they are going to sign a player, I don't think Villa will keep Gharnaco.

To say he didn't have any successful time with Argentina steal baffle me, he was not allow to play and not called. He was this way he left the Manchester United, he is still been not like in Chelsea, what more can one say about him. If there are things that club looks before they keep a player, I don't even think that Gharnaco will be one but I will not lie, he is good but character wise, he is poor in my opinion.

I didn't know Florentino Perez wasn't really a fan of this possible signing... Maybe his long injury period and not returning in great shape might have played a role in that.

I think he will stay at Manchester City for at least another year if he isn't okay with going to Saudi Arabia or MLS.

How do you expect Liverpool to get a player who already has agreement with PSG?! There's a better probability of him joining PSG than Liverpool.  A chance to win the league and possibly the Champions League, who knows?

He only has a verbal agreement. Not anything official between the teams yet. If Liverpool offers better conditions then why not?  Smiley  I haven't heard anything from Yan Diomande like PSG would be his only choice.

Arsenal backed off from that deal a long time ago. And psg hasn't submitted any bid afaik, although there are rumours that he has agreed a personal terms with them(psg). Diomande is not an £100M player, and I think any club that plans to sign him is only taking the risk. It's very disturbing when I see clubs placing huge amounts on players that hasn't done much or even win anything important in football. They're literally setting these players for public dragging and pressure, especially when they fail to deliver. Imagine having just one season wonder, and automatically becomes a player who worths more than €120M or there about... Is that not greed or what?. And, I think psg will have to sell Barcola in order to sign this guy. I don't see them keeping both players, when one can be used to get the other.

I didn't know PSG and Yan Diomande already had an agreement between. I'm sure Leipzig would be okay to let him go but not for a cheap price for sure!

Especially after the World Cup I'm expecting them to ask for a higher amount than before. Liverpool was also interested by the way. Have they given up or not?

It was unknown to me until it popped up on FabrizioRomano's page. They're a selling team but they do so with outrageous prices. We all know the lad to be productive, but not worth that valuation placed on him by his club. I believe they will come to an agreement soon enough.

How do you expect Liverpool to get a player who already has agreement with PSG?! There's a better probability of him joining PSG than Liverpool.  A chance to win the league and possibly the Champions League, who knows?

This could be the response to Barcola's plans to leave PSG, it would make sense I think since they play the same position and PSG is for sure interested in having backups and options for their offense. Barcola would be a tremendous loss to them because if you think about how good Barcola is, having a player like him coming from the bench is unreal. In any other club he would be one of the first eleven players, I don't think he would be sitting on the bench anywhere else. But Yan Diomande might be surprised once he finds out upon arrival that there is no guarantee for him to play a lot. Chwitscha Kwarazchelia is an amazing player and I think in most matches preferable.

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you Hernández Cascante Rodri. Rodri has finally completed football!
He worked his way toward success silently. The most deadly defensive midfielder the world has ever seen.
I knew he was going to win the best player of the tournament, and FIFA didn't disappoint us.
Should he be given the Ballon d'Or?
I never expected he would win because his efforts are hardly seen due to the position he plays. Defensive midfielders do the dirty jobs and the strikers take the glory. I remember that Rodri's Ballon d'Or win in 2024 came with lots of controversies because most people thought Vinicius Junior should have been the rightful choice. It was believed that the Brazilian was denied the award because of his outspoken nature and his skin colour.

My choice for the Golden Ball would have been Lamine Yamal or Kylian Mbappe. But after a close look at the manner in which Rodri controlled the midfield and the manner in which he anchored that position, I think he deserves the award because he was the engine room of the champions. He has indeed silently achieved so much in his career. Congratulations to him.
Seriously? Vinicius didn't win the Ballon d'Or because of his skin color? Not because Rodri had a hell of a season and won literally everything he could win, and is also a world-class player. No, all this doesn't matter, Rodri won because is white. I don't even know how some people can think stuff like this.

The news has indeed been confirmed, he has extended his contract with Liverpool until 2031. However, that does not mean Real Madrid could not poach him at some point before 2031. Given his relatively young age, he has great future potential. It is no surprise that big teams like Real Madrid want him.

Barcelona continues to gather young talents as always. The club has been reaping significant rewards from its transfer policy for many years; some players become stars in the first team, while others develop and are sold for high transfer fees, generating significant income for the club. Jesse Bisiwu, if developed correctly, could become a very valuable winger in the future. The agreed transfer fee is 8.5 million Euros fixed plus a 20% future share clause.

Zizou is back in action again after a 5-year break to being a manager... He has been waiting for the moment to take over at the French national team.

I think he can be more successful than Deschamps. To be a reminder, Deschamps won each of the World Cup and Nations League once in his 14-year career there.

Klopp has also signed for Germany as you know so the competition can get even more heated in time!  Wink

It feels like Zidane was just waiting for the perfect team before he accepted a coaching job with the French team just the same way he did with Real Madrid It was a perfect team that he came on to manage and that really followed with a trophy season. The French team currently is a team beefed up with a lot of talents and I think that will be the major reason why Zidane as a coach will do well because if they did not have this much talented players and maybe they just had average players I don't think he would have any success at all because I do not think of him as a very good coach.

Klopp has also signed for Germany as you know so the competition can get even more heated in time!  Wink
I think Klopp is a better option than Julian Nagelsmann.

Well this loan is not with an option to buy but with an obligatory to buy, which I know with how Chelsea board are Very smart the obligation will happen by the end of the season. Garnacho had offer from Roma but with Aston villa coming late in to the race he decides to stay at the premier league. It still very nice to see him in the premier league, he have prospects and qualities, which I believe will work out at Villa.

Benjocobs already tweeted that the move will happen, so for sure Garnacho will be A villa player next season. Aston villa are really makes moves in the market, they are also keen on getting Nickolas Jackson from Chelsea, with Chelsea already putting a price tag of 65million pounds.

I think Aston Villa are doing this because they feel like they could bring back the best of these players and their approach is risk fair. If the player does well then we can say they were able to revive his career then they can pay the asking price but if things fails to work out well, they might end up returning back to their club.

I sincerely wished to see Garnacho better, man was disappointing last season but Gittens can be more annoying.

I think this guy has gotten it all, winning all these awards for his country only tells one thing, for him to take a bow. At some point I was saying that after several injuries Rodri has become slow in that midfield, he wasn't as mobile as he used to be but after watching him in this FWC I saw a different player and how he made the midfield of Spain to look easy and the coordination was impressive.
Winning the ballon d'or again is another thing I'd say no, because the last time he won he never enjoyed his playing time on the pitch, it has been one injury to another and I'm even surprised that he was called up for the Spanish national team, so is a no no to me on the Ballon d'or.

Some sources say Rodri is in the top 3-4 to win the Ballon d'Or compete with other top names for example Lamine Yamal, Harry Kane, Lionel Messi and Mbappe. If we look at the performance of each player, who is most worthy of winning the award? I think Rodri still has a chance. Regarding his contract, it was reported that Manchester City offered him a contract extension, but Rodri has not yet agreed to it yeah he will consider it after the holidays. One thing is certain, Rodri will play with Manchester City until next season while Real Madrid waits for him to become a free agent, as we know Rodri current market value has reached 50 Million.

Well if he is destined to win it then no problem but he should keep fit to show case why he won such award because if he win it by chance and that same injury problem comes up again then it has to be bad luck and we know how many players injury have forced to retire when they never planned, at first I never saw him as an injury prone player but after winning the Ballon d'or award things on how I saw him changed.
If Manchester City are offering him a new contract and he hasn't accept it yet then I think he's thinking of joining Madrid because they have been monitoring him for long so joining the whites would be a good move after all he has won it all at Manchester City and this would be the right time to move out of the club and start a new chapter.

After the last two defeats, Didier Deschamps' departure was somewhat certain, even though his tenure in the French national team was long. It would be wrong to call him a failed coach, because under him the team won a World Cup and a Nations Cup, and even in the current World Cup, they performed well in all but the last two matches. Before the start of the World Cup and until the semi-finals, they seemed to be the favorites to win the title, but their weakness against Spain's strong defense was reflected.

Anyway, Zinedine Zidane is going to return to coaching after a long time. I think he will do something great as the coach of France. He has a great reputation in his playing career and coaching career, he is also great as a coach. After Didier Deschamps, I want to see another success from him in the next World Cup, France is already a strong team, he will make that team an even stronger team.
