I agree he's a good player, but his market value certainly doesn't make sense.
Liverpool have improved the depth of their squad and tried to get rid of some players who were no longer in the plans of the coach in the previous season, but they have also not succeeded because basically the market value of players is not a guarantee of the success of the team at the end of the season.

I don't think Barcola is bad for Liverpool, but I don't think he is a player who can save Liverpool next season and can make them win titles. Liverpool have basically lost one of their icon players at the club and this will have a big impact on the team's performance. Next season's target on the possibility is still the same, but it feels difficult for Liverpool to make it happen.

PSG's Bradley Barcola is definitely a talented player, as we have seen in this FIFA World Cup, as he scored a goal in the round of 32 against Sweden and he also scored a goal against England in the third team-defining match. Beşiktaş is trying to take over from other teams in their Turkish League; they are very serious in this transfer market. They are bidding for big players that have already played in top teams and have gained so much experience to help them in their league, and it is a good idea from them because they are also a good team that deserves world-class players.

They have signed Leandro Trossard from Arsenal; he is an experienced winger that has won the Premier League and was a key player for Arsenal because he scored some memorable goals that helped Arsenal secure their Premier League title last season. This explains better why I have been seeing Vinicious on the news lately, I never knew the club was already making moves for Diomande so quick. I've read so many reports which are mostly hyping Yan Diomande. Before the FIFA World Cup tournament, I had not see him play any live game before. And during the World Cup, I didn't see any performance that was convincing enough for to accept that he's as good as I'm meant to believe.

Real madrid real moved fast to secure this deal, which shows that they were really convinced of his talent, but I am a bit skeptical about him because when I watched him in the just concluded world cup competition, he didn't live up to the hype, especially for a player that is valued at €100M and above. Though I may be wrong on my assessment on him, but judging by his world cup performance, he did not perform like a player that is valued that much.

Real Madrid is a big team no matter how they performed in the past two seasons, they get almost all the players they scout for once they show interest, therefore, I am not surprised that Real Madrid got the player ahead of PSG because the player know that Real Madrid is in a stage where almost all their new signings will have chance to play  more matches because they are signed by new manager, and the manager will want to play the players to justify his choice on the players.

In my opinion, his saga will end in Madrid. As you say, there's always drama with him, but everyone knows what's going on.
