I didn't rate him highly during his Everton days until he finally moved to Manchester City to play under Josep Pep Guardiola. I will say the same. John Stones has done too well for Manchester City. One of the players who I think will also be a great manager whenever he retires.

Chelsea is a laughable club, I don’t know what is behind this transfer, considering that they still have Jackson, Delap, and Pedro, I’m wondering how they’re going to satisfy every player with game time, I think they’re considering selling some players like Jackson and Delap, because I don’t see what the reason for this transfer actually is, They might also be looking for some leadership in the team, Alonso knows his plans, so I would believe he knows what his doing with this transfers, Chelsea fans should watch what his plans actually is, I believe he is going to do a great job for Chelsea.

This could be a joke but when the season begins they might become a problem to other clubs, you never can tell. That is what I'm saying, having up to 3 strikers and still adding another is something I don't understand but if you talk about how they're going to satisfy these players I'd say Delap knows he'll enjoy his stay at Chelsea on the bench because the other players Jackson, Pedro and the new man Welbeck are better in front of goal than himself.
Some days back I saw a news of Aston Villa having interest in Jackson but after that day I never saw anything concerning Aston Villa and Jackson, it could be that something is happening underground. Jackson spent last season on loan at Bayern Munich, but his performance was far from impressive.
I think Jackson might go out on loan to other teams again.
Danny Welbeck had a fantastic season at Brighton last year. If I were in his shoes, I would stay at Brighton.
Chelsea is on another level, and I don't think Welbeck would become a regular starter there.

To be honest, I didn’t expect Danny Welbeck to actually move to Chelsea either (I thought it was just a rumour , but it turns out it really did happen). That's clearly not just about squad depth, as they already have Joao Pedro , Nicholas Jackson and Liam Delap in the attacking line-up. It seems that Xabi Alonso is really keen to bring in a role model and a player with plenty of Premier League experience , in the hope that this will help foster the right mentality and maturity within a squad that, incidentally, is dominated by youngsters . Rodri would be a huge signing for Real Madrid. As we all know, after German star Toni Kroos retired, they had a very hard time finding a player to fill his position. There's been a noticeable gap in that position for the last two years. Rodri is perhaps the best player in the world to fill that role. If Real Madrid can convince him and bring him to the team, it would mean trophies for Real Madrid. I hope this happens and Real Madrid can get Rodri. Vinicius might be the president's favorite, but if he wants to leave, nobody will want to keep him.

The hole left by Toni Kroos has not been filled until now, plus after Modric departure, Real Madrid midfield is completely unbalanced, Camavinga/Tchouameni are still reliable, but their types are different.
