Real Madrid is always known as a team that signs big players so it’s not new seeing them making some major big players signings. But this season is more than other seasons. They missed out an opportunity of winning a single silverware for the last two seasons and I believe that’s what perhaps triggered their aggressiveness in signing most of this players this season. They don’t want to miss out on winning a trophy for the third season in a row, for a huge club like Real Madrid they don’t have to end a season without any trophy, a lot of pressure now is on them to deliver a trophy immediately considering the caliber of players they are signing with also a world class coach like Mourinho. I think Rodri will be the most significant player they will sign this season if the deal goes through despite the other players in their rank currently and so they should do everything they can to sign him if truly they want to mount a serious challenge to Barcelona and take the la liga trophy away from the hands of Barcelona this season.

You said it loud and clear, things with Real Madrid were like that now, nobody likes losing. If you think about it, it's been many years since Real Madrid won anything, Barcelona has dominated everything until now. Have they stopped winning the Champions League? Yes, but now they're coming back with a vengeance. That's one of the reasons why Mourinho is in charge now; Florentino trusts him, he knows things are much better with him.

Inter Milan is lucky to have landed this player. Even though he’s no longer young, he’s still a great player. It’s just that this transfer reminds me of the free transfer Napoli made last season, when they signed De Bruyne for free after his contract with Man City expired.

But well, hopefully his situation will be different from De Bruyne’s. Because I remember that last season, Napoli was only able to play De Bruyne for half a season due to fitness issues, he ended up getting injured again at that time. John Stones’ situation might be somewhat similar. However, this player is in much better shape than De Bruyne.

Either PSG don't want to sell him at all, or they set such a price in the hope of selling him for at least 120-130 million (which is also nonsense).

You are not far from the truth by sating that Liverpool has not even explored the player they signed with huge amount of money last season,  because I really did not see much from Isak and Writz, although I saw a little of what Hugo Ekitike can do on his good day and I must confess that I really like him as a player.  Talking about Bradley Barcola,  I really think he is a decent player,  but I don't think his worth the valuation that PSG has place on him, but I will not be surprised if he ends up at Liverpool,  because they are not afraid to splash the cash on a player they truly want. On Andoni Iraola,  I think he is a decent manager and I also think he did a great job at Bournemouth before moving to Liverpool.  I really like his style of play and I just hope he can make this players work for him.

Association of old players, the Serie A in recent years has been declining in quality, gone are those days when we used to see young and energetic players wanting to go there. No wonder there hasn't been a Serie A Champions League champion in a while while, no significant statement from the league on that stage. No doubt that the competition among themselves in the league has increased but it's only within them but when they compete against other teams from other leagues they lose out. I miss the old Serie A, that resilient and fighting attitude is all gone.

This PSG star is a player with great potential, and even performed well for France in the 2026 World Cup. Whether he can carry PSG and France's form to Liverpool is a big question mark. Moreover, I have no doubt about his ability, he is a quality player that he has always proven. However, there are doubts about whether he can meet Liverpool's expectations or fill Salah's gap.

PSG may let him go, because Bradley Barcola has expressed interest in playing for Liverpool and he basically wants to leave PSG. So if Liverpool can pay PSG's asking price, I hope this transfer deal will be completed very soon.

Just reflect back on the players that Madrid previously had for their midfield then you would know why they are struggling so much, because their current squad is nothing close to what that midfield used to be. The likes of Toni Kroos, Luka Modric, Casemiro, and so many football geniuses used to handle that midfield power for Real Madrid, but now that midfield is lacking although Bellingham is one player I respect a lot but he needs other players to back him, and Rodri will be the perfect match.

As for the Vini case, I don't think I will make any comment since he hasn't signed any new contract yet, although if any club were to buy him, Arsenal is most certainly not on my list of clubs to do so.

The foundation of any team lies in its midfield. If they don't have good players there, the whole structure collapses. That's why they haven't won absolutely anything. They can have the best defenders, the best forwards, even the best goalkeeper, but if there's no good midfield, goodbye and good luck, they won't achieve anything. Now, Bernardo and Rodri are fine, but Tchouameni isn't, nor is Valverde.

In my opinion, he’s not a great signing for Inter.
If you look closely at how many matches he’s played for Manchester City over the last three years, I’d say his career is now on the wane.
Had he joined a few years ago, he would certainly have been a great signing.

Apparently, Liverpool has started discussions with Bradley Barcola. But it seems Liverpool's move will be quite difficult because he still has 2 years left on his contract with PSG. However, it looks like Liverpool will take advantage of Barcola's situation, as he's not getting much playing time. Still, with a price as high as £145 million, it's pretty expensive for a player like him. He does have a lot of achievements, but he lacks in playing minutes. Rumor has it that Arsenal is also interested in Barcola.

John Stone is going to have his free transfer with inter Milan for a duration of 2 years contract deal, is such a defender that has good performance record with Manchester City before his contract ended, very soon you will be considered for other physical and medical examination with inter Milan team for his fitness and enjoy his new home to play for Inter Milan, which I trust so much, that he will deliver.

He's actually a good player but bad at getting the ball into the net. I'm not sure if he gets that much playing time after the arrival of Dembele, Neves, Kvara..

Defnitely not worth the amount , just like how Ekitike wasn't worth the amount he was signed last year yet the club found it normal .

The only reason i think  PSG is setting those high price is because of the UCL trophy they won back to back, passing it on price feels unreasonable to me...yet, they are doing it and getting buyers.

Liverpool have really gone through a lot this period, they haven't benefited from the number of players they've bought with high amounts, however I think the major problem affecting them is inability of the coach to combine a formidable team, though the players are there, some are of high quality, the likes of Alexander Isak, Ekitike and the rest of them have not been put through proper tactical routine that will bring out what they can do, or it could as well be that we are probably placing too much expectations on them. However I doubt if Liverpool will cough out outrageous amount to sign any player this period, let them recover first.

The signing makes perfect sense. Just take a good look at the numbers he created for Brighton last season and all these goals scored where all without penalties involved. He will go on to Chelsea to be a backup striker for Chelsea he knows that clear well and whenever he is called up, he is ready to use his experience to help the team.

Nicholas Jackson will most definitely be sold, I can't say the same for Liam Delap but he sure won't be their number one striker. I believe they will rely more on Jaoa Pedro and Danny Welbeck. Maybe keep Liam Delap just incase a possible injury happens to any of thier players.

But those games against teams that refuse to play football and just sit for 90 minutes? The answer lies with Welbeck. Last year, though, Chelsea failed to break them down, and it cost them dearly. He is not a backup, he is a whole other type of option.

Delap is the poorest striker we have in the Premier League, he was not a good signing for Chelsea, and i was hoping he would be sent on loan this season. Jackson is better at completing the squad than having Delap as the leading striker, all thanks to Joao Pedro, if not for him, Chelsea would have finished much worse than they did.

Out of all Chelsea strikers, Joao Pedro has to be the starting number 9, Jackson as a sub sometimes, but Delap has just been terrible, and we need time to test his improvement.

Xabi Alonso is cooking and I don't think anyone is ready to see Xabi Alonso and the formidable Chelsea team next season. The EPL is not ready for Chelsea because watching how they've been active in the tranfer window this summer, this is to tell you that the board now knows their mistakes and are doing everything within their reach to ensure they fixed them. Chelsea bringing in aged Dani Welbeck, I see it surprising but as back up striker, well it's a good signing.

This is no longer time for Chelsea to holding back, they're exploring every option they have because they know what's coming for them next season. This is time to compete because winning is now an objective for them and they wouldn't afford to give up not when bringing in top signings to the club.

Seeing some shades been thrown between journalists whom we get news from concerning football transfers and speculations over the years. Today I saw an online exchange of words between Fabrizio and Pletternberg, these are 2 journalists that has been giving us news on transfers but it seems as if they have a problem among themselves. I hope it's nothing really serious because the sky is too big to accommodate them and many more. Pletternberg in one of his replies claimed Fabrizio has got it wrong in his report concerning a player Real Madrid was interested in, Fabrizio said it a done deal and Pletternberg said it's not yet a done deal. Few days ago we talked about same player here and some of us were surprised at the amount and today I'm seeing something else concerning same player. He claims no agreement has been reached between Leipzig and Real Madrid for the said player. Well we just have to wait and see what will unfold I'm the coming days or weeks.

Great tactical knowledge there and I must confess, I didn't think about that. Interesting season ahead and I'm looking forward to learn a lot of tactical knowledge from these managers. One thing though is certain, he will not be be the first choice ahead of the Chelsea attacking squad. Although I can recall that they was absent without Cole Palmer for quite some time.

On Nicholas Jackson,  there was a recent update about reuniting with Unai Emery, his former manager during his Villarreal days. I'm confident to an extent, that he'll swing their way.

I still don't understand PSG when it comes to this guy Kolo Muani, he's a good striker that doesn't take chances even with his pace he still make sure of troubling defenders. A player who is as good as him but PSG doesn't have any intention of keeping him or even to let him go instead they move him out on loan, for the 3 seasons (if I'm not mistaken) now including this upcoming season they have been loaning him to clubs outside Ligue 1, to Serie A (Juventus) to the EPL (Spurs) and now he's back to the Old Ladies Juventus on loan, what's really happening that they can't let him go?

Kolo Muani is an unlucky player, he has never stay in a club more than three seasons, despite being one of the most expensive signing in PSG history, the club still did not trust him even when Gonzalo Ramos has already left PSG, he is very good in attack and can troubling defenders, which that is why some top clubs are still coming for him, the annoying part is that PSG did not want to sell him on a permanent deal and they still don’t want him to be part of the squad, juventus has already signed him on a loan before and after Juventus he went to Tottenham on another loan and now he is going back to Juventus on another loan deal again, PSG should let the player leave and have a good career in another club if they did not want him to be part of their squad, going to different clubs on loan is not a good thing for player, every player deserve to be in a club where he can be remember as one of their legends.

This whole thing surprises me each time I watch him play and how PSG see him less, that's the thing with this big clubs, they hype you and make you feel at home but when they want to discard you it will be like you don't know how to operate in your position. PSG did bad for not letting Kolo Muani enjoy his stay at the club. Not being part of the club has to do with one man, Enrique, because he has the say of making him be part of his plan that's if he wants but in other words, Enrique feels like the player is not playing what he likes, that's all I can come up with.
Well I still like it as Juventus are getting closer to this player and going back won't be like a new thing for the player, who knows with time PSG will definitely get tired of holding him back and give him to the Old Ladies but for now Juventus need him to bring back that energy he came with the first time.

I'd like to see Barcola play more at Arsenal than at Barcelona. I think he'd shine much brighter there. It's not just because Barcelona is the club that rivals Real Madrid, but the Premier League would give his career a real boost. He's been excellent so far and is on the right track. If he moves to a more competitive league, his value will surely increase significantly.
