This man have done so much at the Etihad and for the 3 Lions, this upcoming season we'd be seeing him at Inter Milan, good move for John Stones. At some point I thought the Blues would get him but it seems his attention is some where else, how do we rate Stones at Inter Milan next season?

In my opinion, he’s not a great signing for Inter.
If you look closely at how many matches he’s played for Manchester City over the last three years, I’d say his career is now on the wane.
Had he joined a few years ago, he would certainly have been a great signing.

Are you serious? Did you watch this guy at the world cup how he played like he's still young? I bet you didn't, let's leave the injury side of him and focus more on how he played, he'd do pretty well at Inter Milan even pairing with his old time teammate at Manchester City Akanji, both players will have a better chemistry at the back and I see Inter to be more stronger at the back as Stones have joined the current champions Inter Milan.

We can say he didn't perform badly at the World Cup, but what's important is how he plays at club level. Because he will be playing matches in both the Italian league and the Champions League, and he will need to handle the intense schedule. His experience from Manchester City makes me think he can handle this intensity. He's a very good choice for Inter.

It is time for Inter Milan to return with force in UEFA Champions League. Their presence so far there is quite limited. With such transfers, I hope they can do better.

PSG may let him go, because Bradley Barcola has expressed interest in playing for Liverpool and he basically wants to leave PSG. So if Liverpool can pay PSG's asking price, I hope this transfer deal will be completed very soon.

Apparently, Liverpool has started discussions with Bradley Barcola. But it seems Liverpool's move will be quite difficult because he still has 2 years left on his contract with PSG. However, it looks like Liverpool will take advantage of Barcola's situation, as he's not getting much playing time. Still, with a price as high as £145 million, it's pretty expensive for a player like him. He does have a lot of achievements, but he lacks in playing minutes. Rumor has it that Arsenal is also interested in Barcola.

Source: https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11095/13567997/bradley-barcola-transfer-news-liverpool-set-to-open-talks-with-paris-saint-germain-over-winger-with-an-opening-offer-prepared
This Rumor persists but no changes have been made to the buzz made because at this time Liverpool like to return to restraint in contrast to the previous season where they spent money even almost did not blink but for this season it seems they do not want to do it in a hurry.

Even though this is a moment for Iraola to prove himself but with the composition of the players now, especially for the wings, which for me are quite limping, this will be dangerous.
Indeed, Liverpool currently still have Salah because there is no clear decision on this player but with his age now they should prepare for regeneration, as well as with the left wing where sometimes the Gakpo does not do his job well.

Iraola has always been a character in their transition with his speed but when there are not enough good players on either side especially when Salah leaves then this could be a test in itself for Iraola and Liverpool.

I guess they signed Wellback to fix their dressing room problems as well as Hendo. they signed so many young talents, but they don't have enough veterans that will help them to guide how to play. So i think that's the motive why they signed him.

As for Jackson, Pedro and Delap. So yeah having one more veteran who play in their position is the problem. However. it can also help them to identy what's wrong with them especially Delap who rarely scored last season. I think the come of Wellbeck is not entirely bad for all of Chelsea strikers. So, let's see how it'll play.
Wellbeck had the best performance so far, in EPL last season. He scored his highest goal in EPL last season and I'm not surprised that Chelsea needs him in their attack because the ones they have isn't meeting up to expectations. Since, Wellbeck is in Stamford Bridge, it's gon make Delap and the rest sit up tight because if they don't, Wellbeck will bench them
So yeah, it's one of the reason why Chelsea signed him. Despite his age, he can still perform pretty well in EPL by scoring two digits. It's far better than Delap who being so clueless how to score and he can't get good positioning. At least, Wellbeck will teach them how to play as ST properly.

It's obvious there will be a tough competition to get a spot as ST, but it can be good if it motivates all of their ST to compete each other. Let's see how it's working soon.

After Mohamed Salah's move to the Turkish League and the numerous injuries suffered by forwards like Hugo Ekitike and Giovanni Leoni, Liverpool needs to buy a new player with excellent quality to play in the front line next season. Barcola is an ideal player at just 23 years old.

However, I think a price tag of £145 million is too high for him. It would be wise for the club management to renegotiate Barcola's price, as a price tag of £145 million would allow them to acquire two star players for their club. considering there are still many good players in that position with a price below £100 million.

Stones would always be a world-class defender even at his current age, 32 and people still expect him to play like a youngster. It's funny how some people forget that John Stones was the most expensive defender as at 2016 at a fee of £47.5 million, a move from Everton.

He would definitely make a mark at his new club, Inter Milan and that should not be a debate. He has the experience and quality of a world class defender, but the defence is not enough to compete in the Champions league as they would need to improve the attack as well.

I was one of the guy that initially doubted this transfer when I saw the rumour. I never thought it was going to happen, and secondly I was saying within me that why would Chelsea be going for a player that is this old that will likely struggle with the intensity of the English premier league, but when I saw his statistics for Brighton last season, I never believed that he is this active and good. Liam delap is going to be the biggest loser here because he has been a big shit since he signed for Chelsea.

He has no football intelligence, no good positioning, no good link up play with the other attacking players, he is just useless upfront for Chelsea, no disrespect to him, and I even think that he is even worse than most of these attackers that flop with the number 9 jersey in Chelsea history under Roman abrahimovic reign as the owner of the club, so he will either go out on loan, or he is sold off this summer.

We’re nearly in August now, the season starts in just over 3 weeks. We will likely see a lot of transfer activity now as teams rush to get deals over the line.

I certainly hope Liverpool start to get busy because we’ve been incredibly quiet so far and have gaps in quality all over the place.

Hmmm... Are you waiting for another half a billion to be spent?  Wink
Judging by the price PSG wants for Barcola, Liverpool will be able to repeat their last year's record. But I certainly don't believe his price could be anywhere near 170 million. This is an absolutely insane level for a 24-year-old footballer who no one has really heard of until now (or maybe I was just in the woods and missed it all). Either PSG don't want to sell him at all, or they set such a price in the hope of selling him for at least 120-130 million (which is also nonsense).

Liverpool has not even explored the players they signed with a huge amount last season, which are namely; Florian Wirtz, Alexander Isak, and Hugo Ekitike. Even if they sign Bradley Barcola, it may not really cause any effective impact in the team if they don't have good coach that can bring out the best in these players. I don't know the tactics that Andoni Iraola will use for the players, i want him to succeed at Liverpool. You are right that Bradley Barcola started making the news recently during his performance in the UCL and in the World cup. I also think that PSG do not want him to leave which is why they set a high amount for his transfer fee, but Liverpool can be very extravagant when it comes to a player that they actually want.
Andoni Iraola is a good coach, i believe he can bring out the best in Liverpool players, so Liverpool should secure the signature of Bradley Barcola. Andoni Iraola style of football comfortably suit Liverpool style of football that is the reason Liverpool even signed him, so do not worry about the tactics that Andoni Iraola will use in Liverpool. PSG do not want Bradley Barcola to leave but they are ready to sell him since he does not want to renew his contract so that he will not leave as free agent when his contract expires, and PSG did not set a high amount for his transfer fee because they do not want he to leave, it was because of the amount Chelsea used to sign Morgan Rogers triggered PSG set Bradley Barcola transfer fee to €170 million.

Iraola has achieved some impressive results with several different clubs, which suggests that he knows how to work with different teams and different groups of players. But I don't think things will be straightforward for him at Liverpool. The club may need some time to adapt and establish its style after Slot's departure.

On the other hand, a change of manager can sometimes have the opposite effect and give the squad a fresh boost. Liverpool have an excellent squad, and with players of this quality, the team's potential is enormous.

🚨🔵 Danny Welbeck to Chelsea, here we go! Deal in place with Brighton for the English striker.

Welbeck agreed terms with Chelsea until 2028, medical next; Brighton approved decision to let him go after formal request from Danny.

Jordan Henderson: coming soon.
This is absolutely crazy. What does Chelsea expect from Danny Welbeck, who is already 35 years old? It’s really strange to see Chelsea’s transfer policy this time around, targeting older, unproductive players. Is Chelsea running out of money that they’re signing older players? Because they usually sign young players for high prices. I’m not sure if the signing of Danny Welbeck was at Xabi Alonso’s request. This is just the work of the club’s sporting director.

I prefer to see Delap to leave as a loan. He has a very long term contract with Chelsea. So he only needs regular minutes to play. They bought him for £30 million. So it's a huge loss in their book if they sell him less than it. I think to send him as a loan is a wise decision. They often succeed recover the price of their bad player by loaned them.

Who knows he will cook in his new club, then his price will gradually increase. He is still young, and has so many room to growths. However, Chelsea is not the right place for him to do that this time.

I'm not saying he's a no-name, but at PSG, his name isn't nearly as big as Kvartskheli, Mendes, Dembélé, and other players whose names are constantly on everyone's lips. So when I heard his asking price of 170 million, I thought I'd missed something. He's also just one of many on the French national team.
What amuses me is that he is only 23 years old, but he already has 2 Champions League titles (and obviously a bunch of Ligue 1 titles), so he can afford to move even to Arsenal  Grin since the question of titles at club level is practically closed for him. Right now he's probably only interested in money, which is why he's ready to move to such a suspicious club as Liverpool (as you rightly noted, it's not clear that Liverpool is unlocking the potential of its players).

I believe also that he is a good signing for Inter Milan and I thought people would be excited to see him there so we can expect a better defence line in Inter Milan.
It is time for Inter Milan to return with force in UEFA Champions League. Their presence so far there is quite limited. With such transfers, I hope they can do better.

Ac Milan would have made their defense line stronger than it was last season but Amorim was planning something different so why should Inter Milan waste much time in getting his signature? Inter could be another champ come next season because they are doing everything possible to cover any open spot on that back line and the attacking front and the midfield I believe those positions are ok to start up next season so this Stones move is what they need to battle it out against opposition players.

Bradley Barcola is an important member of PSG and the French national team, he often comes on as a substitute for Mbappe and his performances are also excellent. If you follow PSG regularly, you might know this player. He has not yet become a star player like Mbappe, Dembele and Olise, but he has great potential and is a young talent.

However, I agree with you that his price is too high. He has not yet become a star player worth the £170 million price tag. Maybe PSG are unwilling to let him go so they ask for a higher price so that Liverpool can't buy him. But I don't think he wants it just for the money, he is only 23 years old. He still has a lot to achieve. Maybe he is interested in Liverpool to win the Premier League title. Liverpool's main problem is their incompetence in hiring a good manager, whether they made the right move by hiring Andoni Iraola or not, we will know at the end of next season.

I don't care about the stats and his performance last season; I still don't see anything in Welberg. He shouldn't be the player that Chelsea should be going for at all. I understand that it's a short-term contract and they just need somebody that can take them to the Champions League so they can attract better and younger players, but Welberg is not that guy.
Scoring 14 goals for Brighton is impressive, but considering that it took him over 10 years to score more than 11 goals in all competitions is something to be worried about.
I think the only explanation is that he is a backup since Pedro is the main striker.

I honestly can't understand how Chelsea does business. They had an opportunity to sign Osimhen, but they chose Delap and some of their fans were convinced that Delap was a better option simply because he has "Premier League experience". From the beginning, I knew it was a bad deal for Chelsea.

I don't know if Xabi Alonzo is getting thighs right here i also heard they are planning of bringing in formal Liverpool midfielder Herdenson to the team this were not the kind of signing i was expecting from Chelsea, those players are old for me maybe Alonzo is looking for some experience players but he also need players that can run around the field without getting tired easily, Chelsea actually needed some young talented players so they can improve their performance this season.

I also feel the same, this is very strange and maybe Chelsea management doesn't want to spend a lot of money anymore, they will only recruit old players at a cheap price like Danny Welbeck and if that is true then there is no need to expect much for Chelsea next season, I really doubt them and especially for Xabi Lonso it will be very difficult to do this job as Chelsea's new coach.

It's a rather unexpected transfer, because as far as I remember, Chelsea have always been keen to sign young players. And Danny Welbeck is already 35 years old, this decision from Alonso seemed unexpected to me. Most likely, he's counting on this player's experience and will use him as a substitute for rotation. And Welbeck scored 13 goals last season, I think that's a very good result for the Premier League, so I think Alonso made this decision deliberately.

Chelsea has always been keen to get younger players but seeing sudden change like this means only one thing, the new manager has a different plan and it's very obvious that these old players are needed for their experience. Few seasons back since Chelsea started recruiting young players their major problem has always been lack of experience in the squad and maybe that's what Xabi Alonso is looking to add to his team.

I am certain they won't have much playing time as we all think but their presence in the team is needed so the younger ones get to learn from them directly or indirectly. Not sure what others think about this but as long as they have good players in the team already I think it's a good idea.

I'm not saying he's a no-name, but at PSG, his name isn't nearly as big as Kvartskheli, Mendes, Dembélé, and other players whose names are constantly on everyone's lips. Right now he's probably only interested in money, which is why he's ready to move to such a suspicious club as Liverpool (as you rightly noted, it's not clear that Liverpool is unlocking the potential of its players).
I won't be surprised if he fails to meet expectations because a lot of players who are being over priced end up as flops. When a player is valued way more than he should worth the fans and team expect more, the player also is pressured to do more ends up underperforming as a result of the all the pressure.

Wirtz for example is a very good player yet he struggles to find form because he was valued way higher. Barcola is good and he's not bound to experience similar thing but I won't be surprised when he flops if Liverpool finalize the deal. Yeah the money is there but he is also interested in having more playing time which he will get if he joins Liverpool. Teams now are asking way too much for even players that are average, I wonder how much players like Palmer, Yamal and Estevao will cost if they are asking 170 million for Barcola.
