two veteran players are also set to join: Danny Welbeck and Jordan Henderson. This team just never seems to run out of money.  Cheesy
These two players may not get a lot of game time, but they will certainly bring leadership and some stability to the Chelsea side; their experience will also be valuable in some setting games. I am sure that is why they have been brought into the club.

Now that the news of Vinicius going to Arsenal is likely never to happen, which world-class winger do you think Arsenal will shift focus to? We have Tzolis; he is not enough to achieve the ambitions that we have as a club.
But this is a dilemma for some Chelsea strikers because after Danny joined and he could get playing time then indirectly some players are now quite bad in his position especially with the age difference is quite far. Danny was one of the most surprising moves for me because he was one of the players I knew had played with 3 big clubs but there was no excessive fan drama in it.

Vini, the situation is a little chaotic now because unexpected situations can happen especially now that Madrid is also difficult to do a deal with Yan Diomande. With the arrival of Yan Diomande to Madrid could be some unexpected options now because he can be played on the right wing later or even projected as a player to make Vini compete on the left wing.

Currently Vini still remains with his decision to postpone the extension of konteak so with Yan Diomande and some rumors now with Arsenal I think this situation allows everything to happen.

I still don't understand PSG when it comes to this guy Kolo Muani, he's a good striker that doesn't take chances even with his pace he still make sure of troubling defenders. A player who is as good as him but PSG doesn't have any intention of keeping him or even to let him go instead they move him out on loan, for the 3 seasons (if I'm not mistaken) now including this upcoming season they have been loaning him to clubs outside Ligue 1, to Serie A (Juventus) to the EPL (Spurs) and now he's back to the Old Ladies Juventus on loan, what's really happening that they can't let him go?
How is that even possible? I’m also puzzled by PSG’s handling of Kolo Muani’s situation. After all, PSG just let Goncalo Ramos go, so Kolo Muani should have been a great option to replace him. Especially since Kolo Muani is PSG’s only center forward, yet they’ve gone and loaned him back to Juventus again. PSG’s treatment of Kolo Muani is very unfair. I hope Kolo Muani performs well at Juventus so he can secure a permanent contract there.

Kolo Muani has been one of the best striker PSG have after Mbappe left, they did very well in keeping Kolo Muani before things changed that he could not even see the substitute, my concern is them keeping him and letting him leave on loan, is really frustrating if you ask me. That is why I hardly take the way these big teams hype the players they want to sign because whenever they feel like dumping the player they won't consider how high they kept the player and if you check Kolo Muani deserves to be in control of that attacking front but now how do they treat him, like he still need to go out to gain more experience, too bad.

Thoughts on Vinicius and his future at Real Madrid, as he has rejected another contract offer from the club. He made it known to them that he holds grudges for Jose Mourinho since the Champions League match between Benfica and Real Madrid in February. Prestianni directed a racist insult at Vinicius, and Jose Mourinho concluded that Vinicius should be blamed for all the racist insults directed at him during the press conference. At that time, Jose Mourinho was Benfica's head coach. Vinicius could leave Real Madrid for Arsenal due to these issues.

I just read that Madrid got some new ammunition for this upcoming season. Mourinho is moving fast to anticipate the squad depth for next season, which he felt was lacking last season. Mourinho brought in Carlos Espí from Levante. He's Spanish, and his stats are very impressive. Espí scored 11 goals in LaLiga last season and was named the best under-23 player in the league. He’s been with Levante for 3 seasons, making 66 appearances and scoring 20 goals. But it won’t be easy for him at Madrid because he’ll have to compete with Mbappe and Endrick. I haven’t found out how much money Madrid spent to bring in Espí.

Seeing Real Madrid signing players to improve their squad depth is painful to watch as a Barcelona fan. I still don't understand what the Barca board is  doing, so they think that signing Anthony Gordon and Adeyemi is enough. The luck that they are depending on will soon run out. This is one of the reason why we haven't been able to win Champions league since the last 5 years because of poor squad depth. I won't even be surprised if Real Madrid wins their 16th champions league and La liga this season, because their rival is incompetent. In this current era if you want to win the UEFA champions league , your team need to spend heavily. Madrid has literally bought up to 8 players in this summer alone, while we are still stuck with 2 players. We don't have a 9, LCB, Left wingback, is this how we want to compete against top teams?  Undecided

I was also a bit surprised by this signing, I mean we never even mentioned Carlos Espi name in the transfer window and suddenly Real Madrid brought him in. I'm not sure if Mourinho really needs these players to fill the squad or they do it for long term investment because we know Carlos Espi is one of the young players with low transfer fees (25 Million) I think they want to repeat the same scheme as Nico Paz. By the way do you know Carlos Espi's market value in March this year? yeah it was around 2.5 million but now it has increased to 20 million Cheesy  somehow it happened in 4 months.

What does he want now, "sorry" as a statement from Jose Mourinho? If he really want to still hold on to that then he can easily join the  Premier League defending, they will be so happy to  have him on the left wing with a big pay which he desires in the first place.

Perez still really want him that's why they keep pushing new offers. If left to Mourinho , he's  definitely going to sell him out of the club without thinking twice.

Gonzalo Garcia's transfer to Fulham is being discussed. Rumors suggest a transfer fee of around 70 million Euros. Therefore, they could easily pay 25 million for Carlos Espi, last year's best player under 23. Barcelona still wants to sign Julian Alvarez. I think Espi's transfer was an opportunity for Real Madrid. Hopefully, he can be useful in the matches he plays for Real Madrid next season.

There simply isn't any room for him in the team. There are too many good players, and going out on loan is his only option. He can't even make the bench because Ramos is the second choice striker who comes off the bench and scores goals.
He originally joined Juventus to replace Vlahovic, who was expected to leave. In the end, Vlahovic took his place and started scoring goals. At Tottenham, his statistics were 30 appearances and only 1 goal.PSG don't want to let him go because they might need him again someday. That's the only explanation i can think of.
Kolo Muani has never really been part of the Tottenham project, which was a disaster by the way, so I don't know how much we should keep into consideration his last season. Also, let's not forget that he hoped until the very last moment to move back to Juventus. In my opinion Kolo Muani is not a great player but he's not even as bad as he's been painted in this thread. He really wanted to move back to Juventus and he finally made it, hopefully he'll perform well just like he did when he was on loan for 6 months.

Tottenham faced many problems last season, causing several players to underperform throughout the season. The manager's poor performance almost led to Tottenham's relegation, but Tottenham were fortunate enough to emerge from that situation. Kolo Muani was loaned to Tottenham from PSG, but his performance wasn't as impressive as some have suggested. He had a consistent start to the season, but in the second half of the season his performance declined and he was often brought in as a substitute or as a rotation step.

Kolo Muani's return to Juventus is the first step in improving his individual performance. I believe there won't be many challenges in Serie A, which will make it easier for Kolo Muani to perform consistently. We hope he will be a key player in Juventus' journey towards competing for the title.

When people criticized Mbappe at that's time when dressing room was messy. Mbappe came up to media and told "I need to play better then Gonzolo , Endrik , vini and then laugh Huh". And now you see Gonzolo to Fulhum is done. Endrik still on Loan and Vini are no finding club. That's my thoughts on this whole darma. Vini can be leave madrid this season or maybe they can wait to finish this season and go to Arsenal for free. I don't know what's in Moruinho mind. I think they are trying to solve the dressing room issue and that's the perfect solution at this point to go out vini and bring new profile player like Yan Diomande.

I saw this news going around on the internet, I don’t really know how true this are, few days ago it was reported that Vinicius Jr is ready to sigh a new contract and commit his future to Real Madrid, It’s possible that Vinicius Jr will play for Real Madrid and Jose Mourinho, Mourinho made some comments which aren’t very good because he was try to defend his player, and nobody knows what must have happened between them, Everything can be handled differently and they can have a dialogue and settle every differences, Arsenal are interested in Vinicius Jr, let’s see how that is going to work out for them, they should make an offer for him if they’re interested in him.

Everyday, I keep imagining how possible that deal will, and the possibility of the deal pushing through. We know Arsenal, they are not the kind of team that is persistent in bringing a player even when it's against all odds. They are not known for buying high profile players with huge amounts, unless the narrative will begin to change with Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal has been linked to buying Morgan Rogers from Aston villa, but we know how the money factor made them lose out and Chelsea hijacked the deal and the guy is already in Chelsea now. Of course, this is not the first time we are seen such. I just wonder how this one will go. Firstly, is Vini interested, and secondly, if he is interested, is Madrid willing to release him, and lastly, can Arsenal be willing to pay off the money and also give him a reasonable wage based on the players term? I don't still see the possibility of this deal, but let's watch.

Source: https://www.espn.com/soccer/story/_/id/49491762/real-madrid-transfer-carlos-espi-levante

I don’t think it is because of Vinicius that Jose Mourinho brought Carlos Espi, Mourinho has made it clear that he want a good and tall striker who can challenge Mbape and help the team to score goal when they need him, another reason why Real Madrid sign Carlos Espi is because of the departure of Gonzalo Garcia, Mourinho want the player to stay but the player want to join Fulham and play for his former coach Arbeloa, Arbeloa sign two Real Madrid players yesterday to join Fulham.

Vinicius problem is not Jose Mourinho and what happened last season in Benfica should not be the reason why Vinicius did not want to sign new contract, Mourinho has said that he wants all Real Madrid best players including Vinicius, Mourinho want to coach Vinicius, he apologised for what happened that he was just trying to defend his player. Vinicius problem is salary and if he did not sign a new contract and leave Real Madrid he will end up in a club where he will not be respect and value like Real Madrid.

You might be surprised about the deal but let’s be clear here, ever since Arteta joined Arsenal they aren’t shy of spending money and they have shown they already, Rodger’s went to Chelsea it wasn’t an hijacking of any deal it’s actually that Arsenal aren’t going to pay that amount for a player they think they have payers in that position and that’s why they didn’t push through. Many people are underestimating the financial capabilities of this Arsenal team but I shouldn’t be telling you there last two seasons positions in both the league and the champions league.

Arsenal have the money they are definitely open to spending it but they are very skeptical on who to spend it on, they don’t want to throw it out any how on prospects but rather on qaulity like they did with Declan Rice and we all know that’s actually one of the best signings for them. Give them the possibility of signing Vinicius Junior for the current amount Morgan Rodgers was bought for and see Arsenal spending it on him because they know what he will bring to the team

Even being signed by Chelsea at the age of 35 could be a source of pride for him. Because many players are nearing the end of their careers at this age. He, however, has joined a team aiming for the Premier League title. I like Welbeck,  he's a good backup and an experienced goalscorer. He will be one of the best options for Chelsea to manage young players.

If not for the Premier League experience Welbeck has to impact on Chelsea young strikers I don't see any reason why Xabi Alonso should bring him to Chelsea at all because he's old and has little time to play football, considering that Chelsea is in the rebuilding stage they don't need a player like Welbeck who can't serve them for a very long time.

That’s one plausible reason why Chelsea signed him at age 35. Another reason is that Welbeck’s quality as a striker during his time with Brighton wasn’t bad. Scoring 13 goals in 37 matches with Brighton during the 2025–2026 season isn’t a bad tally, especially considering he logged nearly 3,500 minutes of playing time. Alonso views Welbeck as a sharp striker, given that Delap managed only one goal in the Premier League over 28 matches—even though Delap is still under 25 years old.

They let Ramos go, and I thought Kolo Muani would make a great backup striker, but it turns out they plan to loan him to another team.
There must be an issue between Kolo Muani and Luis; there is no other explanation.
As far as I know, PSG didn't sign an out-and-out striker.
I had assumed they would use Kolo, but I was wrong.
This implies that PSG plans to sign a striker—at least, that’s how I see it. He previously spent time on loan at Juventus and was quite successful. Now, he has been loaned to Juventus again with a mandatory purchase option exceeding 45 million euros. I believe he is a player who could solve Juventus's striker problem.

~~~
This is absolutely crazy. What does Chelsea expect from Danny Welbeck, who is already 35 years old? It’s really strange to see Chelsea’s transfer policy this time around, targeting older, unproductive players. Is Chelsea running out of money that they’re signing older players? Because they usually sign young players for high prices. I’m not sure if the signing of Danny Welbeck was at Xabi Alonso’s request. This is just the work of the club’s sporting director.
~~~
In my opinion, Welbeck transfer wasn't just the sporting director's decision, but rather at the request of Xabi Alonso. Furthermore, his contract is for two years until 2028, so this is purely a short-term move, not a 5 year project.
I’m not sure if Welbeck’s transfer was at Xabi’s request. Welbeck’s performance has declined significantly, and even last season, he was frequently injured. It doesn’t make sense to me that Chelsea would sign a 35-year-old player to a two-year contract. I’m still wondering what exactly Chelsea expects from Welbeck that would make the club dare to sign him at an age so close to retirement. After all, there are several quality strikers under the age of 30 on the transfer market that Chelsea could have acquired.

Even though this is a moment for Iraola to prove himself but with the composition of the players now, especially for the wings, which for me are quite limping, this will be dangerous.
Indeed, Liverpool currently still have Salah because there is no clear decision on this player but with his age now they should prepare for regeneration, as well as with the left wing where sometimes the Gakpo does not do his job well.

Iraola has always been a character in their transition with his speed but when there are not enough good players on either side especially when Salah leaves then this could be a test in itself for Iraola and Liverpool.

I would say that after the purchase of Isaak for 170 million and for what he brought to Liverpool in terms of performances, i would also evaluate the next purchases very carefully, he is certainly a formidable player and he has been unlucky this season with the injury that kept him sidelined for some time, at the same time there are rumors of Barcola who would be a really interesting player to see in the premier league.

Undecided

Buying a large number of players is no guarantee of success. Real Madrid have completed many good transfers, but the team has yet to click, so the next season could potentially be even worse for them. Barcelona, on the other hand, won La Liga last season and went further than Real Madrid in the Champions League, so they don't need to overhaul a championship-winning squad—they just need to fix a few weak spots in their lineup.
