In this current era if you want to win the UEFA champions league , your team need to spend heavily. Madrid has literally bought up to 8 players in this summer alone, while we are still stuck with 2 players. We don't have a 9, LCB, Left wingback, is this how we want to compete against top teams? 

Barca's situation doesn't allow them to spend lavishly this season.. they're still facing an unstable financial situation, so they have to be much more selective in their transfers. Another consideration is that they prefer to maximize their current squad rather than bring in more players, which would only further burden their finances.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, has healthier finances and does indeed need a major overhaul of their squad due to their more ambitious target of chasing La Liga and the Champions League next season.

But it's too early to say that Barca has no hope.. what we do know is that the players Real Madrid have brought in have impressive stats on paper, but no one has been able to see their performance firsthand. So, we'll just have to wait and see how Barca performs going forward before we can draw any conclusions.

I just read that Madrid got some new ammunition for this upcoming season. Mourinho is moving fast to anticipate the squad depth for next season, which he felt was lacking last season. Mourinho brought in Carlos Espí from Levante. He's Spanish, and his stats are very impressive. Espí scored 11 goals in LaLiga last season and was named the best under-23 player in the league. He’s been with Levante for 3 seasons, making 66 appearances and scoring 20 goals. But it won’t be easy for him at Madrid because he’ll have to compete with Mbappe and Endrick. Real Madrid have completed many good transfers, but the team has yet to click, so the next season could potentially be even worse for them. Barcelona, on the other hand, won La Liga last season and went further than Real Madrid in the Champions League, so they don't need to overhaul a championship-winning squad—they just need to fix a few weak spots in their lineup.

However, it comes back to Vinicius' professionalism as a player. I believe the past issues are in the past and should be put behind him. Clearly, he must now collaborate with Jose Mourinho. Look at the amount of money Real Madrid made from selling some of their young players, what I love about Real Madrid is that they know how to do business unlike Barcelona. That's why they can sign anyone without repercussions.  I know that we can't spend lavishly but why are we still keeping players who are on high wages e.g Araujo, Ter Stegen. We haven't even made one single sale this summer, why? Because the incompetent board want's the players to willingly leave before they can transfer them. They are literally giving the players power.  Players I expected to be sold this summer were Kounde, Casado, Araujo, Ter Stegen, Roony(These players alone generate profits and reduce the wage cap significantly). Imagine, we loaned Stegen to Ajax yet we are still paying 90% of his salary  . This club needs to sit down and rethink properly, we have been maximising this same squad since 2023 ,we haven't achieve any European silverware. What kills this club the most, is the injuries(March and April due to over using the players) they usually have during the knockout stages of the champions league (Rahphinas injury ruined the UCL campaign) . If the team had enough squad depth, they wouldn't even feel the effect of that .

If a footballer's only concern is making more money, the solution is clear: transfer to a team in America or Saudi Arabia. Rafael Leao is in no place to be compared with Vini. Leao that has declined dramatically in performance and Milan doesn't want to give him a contract extension. Williams cannot be as active as Vini on that wing because Williams is not a match for Vini. It will be a big mistake to replace Vini with any of these two players. I agree with this cause most of the players who were bought from the Premier League end up going to succeed in other leagues, they call it the toughest league for a reason and if a player survives the league with a good performance such player is likely to do better when he's bought to a club in another league, i can mention alot of players but let me just use Gerrad Pique, Raphinha, Scot McTominay and Christian Pulisic as example, anyone who doubt should observe how those who left the league would perform this season.

This hasn’t been talked about much but this is the reality and every club is suppose to know this. Having the best players doesn’t guarantee that you’ll be on the top always. I remember when PSG had Messi, Mbappe and Neymar and they still never got to make it even far in the champions league before they got eliminated. Good team coordination and adaptation of play between players helps more than having the most expensive players in your team.

Personally, I actually think the opposite. we have to remember how Real Madrid managed to win the UCL when Benzema was still on the team, even though he was injured for the entire season. And who managed to make up for Real Madrid’s shortcomings up front at that time? Well, it was Vini Jr. This player has talent that surpasses that of other players, despite his ego. He has also made a huge contribution to Real Madrid. That’s why I actually support Real Madrid’s decision to fight tooth and nail to keep Vini Jr. by working to reach a contract extension agreement with him. Besides, Vini Jr. isn’t the only selfish one on the team, Mbappé can be that way sometimes, too.
