I see there's some discussion on X about Luis Diaz, claiming he's received a tempting offer from Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia, where his salary will be several times higher than what he earns at Bayern, and he won't pay any taxes on it. At Bayern, he earns €14 million and will pay around €6 million in taxes. I'm not sure how true this is, but if it is, it's a very large sum of money.

Apparently the contract renewal situation for Vinicius Jr. isn't looking great!
There will be a meeting with José Mourinho to discuss the boy's future and if a mutual agreement is not reached, Vinicius will most likely leave this summer. Arsenal is waiting to see how the situation unfolds.
Arsenal continue to show that their interest in Vinicius is real, not just a rumor. They are doing everything they can to bring in Vinicius, including being willing to pay him his desired salary. Real Madrid continue to try to convince Vinicius to stay, but they remain firm in their stance that they will not change anything in the new contract. Negotiations are still ongoing between Vinicius and Real Madrid. If no agreement is reached, Real Madrid will be forced to sell him rather than let him leave as a free agent next season.

But why is Arsenal willing to take such a risk, firstly, going beyond their salary cap, and secondly, risk Vinnie upsetting the balance of the team not only financially but also in the dressing room?
Because a world-class player like Vini is well worth the risk of disrupting their wage structure [e.g., there's a big difference between how much Haaland earns vs other City players] and concerning the latter part, I don't think we're going to see another dressing room issue like when Arteta began managing it [there's clear unity in the dressing room and this will surely help with sensitive people like Vini].

I understand what KTChampions meant, one bad egg can influence the other of his teammates, Vini is an outstanding player and would improve the team especially giving them more attacking strength for bigger competition like the Champions league so he's worth breaking the bank to sign him but the people who know Vini knows the controversy he'll bring to Arsenal, Arteta shouldn't destroy a team he's properly many because he wants a world class player.

I am also waiting to see what will play out between Vini and Real Madrid if they will dance to his tome or Vini will just sign a new contract with his normal pay rate. If Arsenal succeed in signing Vini, it's gon be a big time transfer in the history of Arsenal. Arteta love buying players with big money though, Vini is worth it.

Vinicius would certainly be worth it and would certainly be an excellent addition to Arsenal's attacking department. But there is one thing to consider. Is the Premier League a suitable league for Vinicius? In Spain there are large spaces in which he can run and it is a championship where he knows how to maneuver well. In the Premier League it's a completely different story. It's a much more physical championship which i don't know if it will be suitable for him.

Forget about Vinicius leaving this summer. It is not going to be possible. You need see how Vinicus was smilling in the training camp, I dont think moving to Arseal will be possible after he passed medical today and resumed training today being Monday of Aguust.

Any disagreement left with the player and the club will be solved within this week. Though it is not yet certain, I think he will remain at Real Madrid.

How can you fill Salah’s shoes? I mean, it is difficult, some would even say impossible, to replace a player who is ranked 4th greatest Liverpool player of all time. I don’t think Barcola would be the best replacement for Salah because he is better on the left wing than RW. Having Barcola switch sides and expecting the same results is a gamble imo.

So much greatness to make a club legend Jamie Carragher rattled. People do not praise Mo Salah enough for Liverpool. He was way too consistent ever since he signed for Liverpool. The numbers he produced for Liverpool back to back should be enough for everyone to see.
Barcola can be brought in but nobody will ever be like Mo Salah for Liverpool for the past nine seasons. His consistent goal scoring against top four giants also is another. Barcola coming in should ne problematic for Gody Gakpo, and that young impressive English international.
I don’t know the story but Jamie Carragher has always been a strong critic of Mo Salah. Never seen an ex-player hate the star of his former club as much as Jamie Carragher hates Salah. Regarding what you said about Barcola, I don’t think his presence affects Gakpo in any way, the team needs him especially now that Etikike is injured. Although there have been transfer rumors linking Gakpo to Tottenham but I doubt there is truth to it.

Como is completing Chalobach's transfer from Chelsea. Weird to see the deal was only 30m while i remember correctly Chelsea wanted more than 30m from them. But it's a good deal because Como get their preferred defender while Chelsea also let one of their washed leaves from the squad.
So this has been a beautiful day for all of Chelsea fans because the club manage let Badiashile, Chalobach and Disasi to leave from their squad.

IMO, 30m is a fair price and that’s a pretty good deal for both Chelsea and Como just as you’ve said above.

Chelsea has been very active lately in the transfer market, in contrasts to how they were kinda silent in the market earlier. They’ve completed the signing of Henderson as a free agent and Mudryk is also back as he has already joined them in their training camp. I hope Alonso is able to provide a good and tangible result this season at Chelsea.

Badiashile > Napoli
Chalobach > Como
Disasi > Crystal Palace / Westham.
So Chelsea can't use those defenders as their scapegoat next season because they will be no longer there.  Cheesy
Como really has a fat wallet to agree to sign a defender like Trevoh Chalobah. Although it taken the weight off Chelsea and has made them a huge sum of money, I'm wondering if they have better replacement for all these players? I couldn't care less about the English man moving down to Italy as those type of deal sometime reveals what the "washed leaves from the sand" holds. That being said, all I want to see this time around is peak performance. No excuses, no compliant.

Let's say if Arsenal were a team that needed to catch up, they could take risks. What's the point of taking risks when the most important thing is to preserve what they already have?
Look what Vinnie says openly:

Quote
"These achievements off the field are much more important than those I get on it, because I help many more people,"
https://sports.yahoo.com/articles/vinicius-jr-talks-fight-against-062000425.html

It's good that he has principles and an active life position, but he's not a fanatic who is focused only on football, football isn't even his first priority. To be at the top throughout your entire career, you have to be hungry for achievements. Can we say the same about Vinnie? He already has all the club titles thanks to Real Madrid. Who knows what he'll focus on next: activism or football.

If Arsenal succeeds in signing Vini Jnr, it will be a plus for them, I mean imagine having Saka at the right wing and Vini Jnr at the left wing, I guess we'll be expecting very busy match days for the defenders assigned to mark them because these players are world class.

However, I don't think this deal will happen, Madrid will retain Vini Jnr. The only way they will let Vini go is if they succeed to get reasonable replacement and I don't think players like Rodrygo can comfortably replace him, even if we look out of the club it is very difficult to see a player who can replace Vini so Madrid will most likely negotiate and retain him.

Let's say if Arsenal were a team that needed to catch up, they could take risks. What's the point of taking risks when the most important thing is to preserve what they already have?
Look what Vinnie says openly:
I keep wondering why Arsenal really wants to disrupt the flow in their club with a different spirit. Just because he can, doesn't mean they should let him do it. That man complains too much, and snaps easily like a market woman. Is that what we're preparing to cope with this season? The pressure from the game is already too much, so bringing in someone who only understands and wants to play the sport when it favours him the most is a selfish start.

Activism surely. I'm not trying to justify what those racist do to him, but there's a reason why he's called a professional player.

Fabrizio Romano writes in his X that Juventus informed Aston Villa, that there would be no further negotiations regarding Martinez's possible transfer, because they consider the transfer fee excessive. Frankly I had no doubt that Martinez wouldn't join Juventus, as Juventus have been having a very poor run of recent seasons, and their squad isn't exactly the strongest, I think Martinez alone won't be enough to change that. First and foremost, I think they should focus on strengthening their attack rather than searching for such a top goalkeeper.
Actually Juventus had to big problems last year: one you already mentioned it, the striker. The second one was actually the goalkeeper because Di Gregorio had a terrible season. Martinez would have been a great signing because besides being a great goalkeeper he is also a leader, he has a winning mentality.
Do you think there is a solution for Juventus right now? Vlahovic was a very good striker. They brought him from Fiorentina when he was in excellent form. They kept him for years, didn't give him a better contract, and in the end he is leaving now.Juventus hasn't been at the level they used to be for years. Di Gregorio is not a bad goalkeeper at all. Martinez would be a good solution, but i don't think he would be the best one.Juventus needs a striker like Hojlund or Osimhen, the player who played for Napoli.
Whaht do you mean Juventus didn't give Vlahovic a better contract? In your opinion Vlahovic deserved to earn more than 12 millions per year? Based on what exactly? The number of goals he missed during these years is insane, not only he never improved, I would say he even got worse over the years. If he was so good how come he has been free agent for the last 5 weeks and the only offer he received was from Besiktas? Before his agent said he had offers from Barcelona, PSG, Bayern Munich, etc, and yet nobody signed him. I wonder why.

I don't know why you guys keep stressing yourselves about this Real Madrid, Arsenal and Vinicius Junior transfer saga, the one thing I know about this deal is at the end of the day you will hear that Vinicius junior is going nowhere, and before you know it, it might be too late for Arsenal to look for someone like him, so I can only advise them to let go off this deal, because it can never happen, first Vinicius can never leave Real Madrid for Arsenal, the earlier they realize this the better for them all, they should use this time and that money to look for someone else.

Fabrizio posted and confirmed this around last week which means, it's already a sealed deal, or so we thought. The question is, did Fabrizio get it all wrong by announcing this because as of today there's no deal between Real Madrid and Leipzig concerning Diomande. Infact the player is still very much in the market because there are links with him joining Arsenal or PSG according to rumours. Fabrizio actually got this all wrong because his still with Leipzig and not Real Madrid. Personally, when I saw this, I was disappointed at Real Madrid for paying such outrageous amount when they needed such amount of money to invest in other positions in the team.
At the moment there is still no official confirmation even after Fabrizio announced the player's done deal there is controversy in it but by looking at the existing situation I think sooner or later this will be confirmed although for now Madrid and Leipzig have not yet responded to this.

I am actually interested in PSG now, the rumor is they are also interested in this player but seeing what PSG are doing now they are quite passive even though the competition is getting closer and the transfer of players is only a matter of weeks now but they are still not active in the deal. Only Alessandro Longoni is the only one they have signed with a free agent this season even though they have spent enough for this season and there are fresh funds of more than 150 million from the sale of Kolo Muani, Lee Kang In, Ramos and Kamara but until now they are still not looking for alternatives to fill the void left by midfield and attack.

Is it not too early for Luis Diaz to start thinking of leaving Bayern Munich?
I think he is a good winger and have found a team for himself to make history after leaving Liverpool, he has already won two league titles with Bayern Munich and he will win more because the team is in good form and he is a key player in the squad and they can win the Champions League because they have tried so well in the past two seasons and they are preparing to go again next season.

Money can influence players, but some players will prefer to have good football record than money, so I think it is up to the player to decide weather he want fame or money.

This isn't just about the money for Luis Diaz. It's also about his career and his ambition to win the Champions League with a European club. He's a top player, and winning the UCL is one of the biggest goals he has yet to achieve.

Besides that, Fabrizio Romano has already reported that Bayern have no intention of selling him. Unless he's close to 40 years old, I don't think a bigger salary would be enough to convince him to join a club in the SPL. https://x.com/i/status/2082912235760840904

The agent said he had offers from Barcelona, PSG and Bayern but he has reported ignored all other bidders and wants to play for Barcelona. Meanwhile, the team doesn't seem ready to take him into their squad. Excuses like budgets and their squad strength are not plausible, so he better finds himself a team to play before the transfer window ends.

what do you mean there's no official confirmation at the moment? I thought this was already a done deal??

Como is completing Chalobach's transfer from Chelsea. Weird to see the deal was only 30m while i remember correctly Chelsea wanted more than 30m from them. But it's a good deal because Como get their preferred defender while Chelsea also let one of their washed leaves from the squad.
So this has been a beautiful day for all of Chelsea fans because the club manage let Badiashile, Chalobach and Disasi to leave from their squad.

Badiashile > Napoli
Chalobach > Como
Disasi > Crystal Palace / Westham.

So Chelsea can't use those defenders as their scapegoat next season because they will be no longer there.  Cheesy

Chalobah is one of the players that have improved in many ways, back then when Thiago Silva was the main man at the back controlling every move I expected them to build beast on Chalobah to replace Silva in that CB but they allowed him to move out as a loan player and from then they realized that they needed him, and ever since he came back from Palace he has been doing well but after seeing this transfer news I felt back for Chelsea because they just missed out on having on of the best CB at his age, if a better coach comes to use him Chalobah will be better than the other guys you mentioned and also is the right man for the job but why let him go? Honestly I don't see why Chelsea won't concede more goals in a careless way from next season, I see a weak defensive line.

At the moment there is still no official confirmation even after Fabrizio announced the player's done deal there is controversy in it but by looking at the existing situation I think sooner or later this will be confirmed although for now Madrid and Leipzig have not yet responded to this.
what do you mean there's no official confirmation at the moment? I thought this was already a done deal??
Until now there has been no confirmation from Madrid either on social media or statements that are always done like for some other players who come, even looking at the transfermarkt

there is still no Yan Diomande name in it so my assumption is maybe this time Madrid/Leipzig delay or indeed Fabrizio made a mistake like the previous season about some transfers.

But with the credibility that Fabrizio has always maintained until now, I feel that Madrid are still postponing official confirmation for Yan Diomande because they see polemics from some people who are called experts now although there is no confirmation but most likely Yan Diomande will wear the Madrid Jersey next season.

The Como manager was very keen to buy this player from Chelsea, in fact the team needs to build a strong squad as we can see they performed exceptionally well in the Italian league last season, which led to his qualification for the prestigious UEFA Champions League next season. The main thing is that after the UCL opportunity, the team is trying to fill their squad with experienced and highly skilled players, which is why they were able to transfer Chalobah for just 30 million euros and it seems that the deal is almost final.

I have also noticed the Premier League club has reached a verbal agreement to sell him to the Italian club, so it is no doubt a success for the Como manager, but it is certain that the team needs a skilled forward who will play well for Como in the upcoming UCL season.
