There’s still time for Chelsea before the transfer window closes to find a club willing to take Mudryk on loan. Mudryk has indeed been a failed signing for Chelsea; his performance was truly poor even before the issues he’s faced over the past two years. Personally, I’m not very sure if Xabi Alonso would want to include Mudryk in his squad or give him enough playing time. Especially since Mudryk’s fitness has surely declined after two years away from soccer. We’ll just have to wait and see what steps the management takes regarding Mudryk during this transfer window.

Previously I was not familiar with Mudryk, but after looking into the transfer history and the story I was a bit surprised and I just found out that Chelsea once brought in this player for 70 million and now the current market value is 0. I'm not sure he's in Xabi Alonso squad plans which is why there are rumors that Mudryk will be loaned to Strasbourg, this is the right move rather than Chelsea having to lose this player for free I mean as a failed player. Another option is available to Mudryk, if he wants to stay in the Premier League, he could consider an offer from Coventry City, yeah this club is one of those interested in Mudryk especially Frank Lampard is already familiar with this player.

Chelsea has spent massive amounts of money to sign him in the past. So ending their contract with him is just book a massive lose for them. They do it right by giving him 2nd chance with the hope they can recoup their money when he can perform again.

This sounds unethical, but in business term, this is a smart idea. If i a part of their management, i'd be also pushing him to regain his form. Once he does it, then i can recoups at least 30% - 40% from his bought price.

His salary is not that big too. So keeping him becomes reasonable idea.

Como is completing Chalobach's transfer from Chelsea. Weird to see the deal was only 30m while i remember correctly Chelsea wanted more than 30m from them. But it's a good deal because Como get their preferred defender while Chelsea also let one of their washed leaves from the squad.
This is a great signing for Como because they’re getting an experienced defender like Chalobach. Especially since Como will be playing in the Champions League this season, which certainly requires players with experience in that competition. As for the 30 million price tag, I think that’s an ideal price. On the other hand, Chelsea is willing to lower the price, perhaps they think no other club besides Como would be willing to pay more than 30 million. So, since Chelsea really wants to sell Chalobach, they’ve accepted Como’s 30 million offer. I hope Chalobach performs well with Como and doesn’t turn out to be a bad signing for the club.

Chelsea spent massive amounts of money to sign a lot of players during the past years, and the majority of those players didn't perform really well. I keep having troubles to understand their logic because every session they buy so many players... Yesterday pop up an article stating that currently Chelsea have more than 40 players in their team. 40 players, why? What's the point? You have to get rid of 30% of your team basically. I just don't get it. And every year they do the same.

Chelsea's management had the legal ground to terminate his contract when he was initially banned from playing football but they decided to be supportive and kept the contract running till the final judgment on the matter. I believe they're very much aware of how he's not been able to live up to expectations even before the ban and now that the ban has been lifted, I expect the Ukrainian to repay their faith in him by making the best out of his remaining stay at Chelsea.

Exactly, Mudryk signing has been considered one of the most disappointing deal like Chelsea sign him on a lot of exactions but at the end he just failed to give them the return of expectations. At that time his signing fee was too high like it was around €100 million and due to this club and fans were expecting a good return form him but ultimately at end he got banned due to anti doping rules. It's really awful situation for both wether it's for team or it's for himself Mudryk.....

Regarding through his contract termination I didn't know whether Chelsea will immediately cancel his contract or will wait for leagle process because right now nothing seem officially wether his solve his case form Court or not. So that's why Chelsea should need to wait for leagle process and if he really breached the contract rules then probably Chelsea will have a solid reason to cancel his contract.

Como have been very active in the transfer market, they frequently appear in transfer news, and although their signings haven't been particularly high profile, but I think Fabregas is focused on building squad depth. That's important because the team will have to compete in two major tournaments this season, Serie A and the Champions League. In that situation, he'll definitely need to rotate the squad to keep the players fresh and help the team cope with the demands of the entire season.
Como will have to play in different competitions and Fabregas understands how stressful it can be while playing in the Serie A and in the Champions League that is why they want to sign more players in case of an injury and in order to rotate players so that they won't get tired before the end of the season so having a squad depth will help them to manage each competitions without getting tired. Squad depth affected Como players in the Serie A last season, especially when the season was about ending. Como still looks like a team that can surprise some big teams even if they may not go above the round of 16 but I believe they will raise eyebrows before they ger eliminated.

So, since Chelsea really wants to sell Chalobach, they’ve accepted Como’s 30 million offer. I hope Chalobach performs well with Como and doesn’t turn out to be a bad signing for the club.
In my opinion, that price is indeed the most realistic. after all, Trevoh Chalobah has mostly been loaned out by Chelsea to other teams since 2018. first, he was loaned to Ipswich Town during the 2018–2019 season, then in the following 2019–2020 season, Trevoh Chalobah was loaned to Huddersfield Town, and in the 2020–2021 season, he was loaned to Lorient, followed by a loan to Crystal Palace in the 2024–2025 season. And well, the bottom line is that this player no longer seems to be considered important. Even though he has played in 105 matches for Chelsea, the change in club ownership has also made the player’s future at Chelsea a bit uncertain. So, seeing Como sign him for that price, I think it’s actually quite reasonable. This will benefit all parties involved, and I believe that at Como, this player will be better able to demonstrate his valuable contributions. I’ve noticed that the reputation of players representing Como is gradually improving.

Morgan Rogers and Elliot Anderson transfers were massive. Clubs are spending a lot more money now. Inflation plays a role in this, but sometimes you see ridiculous figures that make you wonder that is this player really worth that much.

Do you think this year's record will be broken again? I don't think Rogers will be the most expensive transfer of this window. The player who might surpass him could be Vinicius. 138 million Euro is an insane amount of money, there are very few players who could justify that kind of price tag. I think Vini is one of them and his transfer is really likely in the next couple days if not weeks.

These players aren't worth that much, but it seems the Premier League has a market of its own.
Take Tonali, for instance—is he a €100 million player? I certainly don't think so, yet Tottenham paid that amount and signed him.
Fulham bought Gonzalo from Real Madrid for €70 million. He is a young player; if he succeeds and performs well in the Premier League, Fulham could sell him to top-tier clubs for an even higher price next year.
If such sums are being paid for these players, then €138 million for Vinicius is actually a bargain.

Como and Dortmund are also currently exploring a loan agreement for Yan Couto. Previously, there had been talk of a possible agreement for the Dortmund defender's loan fee of €2 million. There's an extension option for around €20 million. They're just waiting for the signing to be finalized. The Brazilian defender is actually still quite young, currently around 24 years old. Como is currently preparing his team for the upcoming UCL, as the competition in the UCL is certainly much more competitive and intense.

Como

Como are very much in this transfer window. Febrigas side are serious to make a strong team this season they sign nico paz from madrid and now signing the new right back. It's quite interesting to see Como next season because last season Como was unstoppable and if the Milan Derby goes in favour of AC Milan Como will win the sucdito. But this season they are trying more then what's they did last season they qualified for the UCL and more matches burden on Febrigas shoulder but now they are manging to sign new players to strengthen the squad and make enough back players.

At least they have learnt the hard way, and if you look at their deals this days, they do not give out such long contracts that is more than 6 years. I am not going to blame them too much because no body saw this coming, that a player with such a talent will waste away in this past years because of ignorantly taking ban substance, but since he is now back, I just hope that he can repay the trust Chelsea have on him, that made them invest so much on him.
Right now he has rejoin the team in honkong, so getting back to full fitness and regaining his best form should be his priority, because if he can do that very quickly, he might be a good weapon for this xabi Alonso's team this 2026-2027 season.

Mudryk’s been a massive failure, he came for huge money. He was terrible and then got banned for drugs. Chelsea will be regretting those really long contracts they keep giving out. I am surprised they couldn’t legally end Mudryk’s contract for breaching terms.
But then I think those long contract they keep giving to players is what makes them keep selling them for a very good fee. When you look at Chelsea and how they move their players that have flopped, they move them with ease and for a good fee too. Chelsea signed Mudryk for almost 90M euros, even with his current situation if they want to sell him they would get above 50M euros.

Long contracts and their salary structure really help Chelsea a lot in moving these players. Well the report about him so far is Alonso will Examine him  this pre season to see if he can play in the first team, if not he will be loaned to Strassborg or Newly promoted Coventry city.

I think he has been training and also trying to keep himself in a very good shape since the ban, but the fact that he hasn't actually kicked the ball in any competitive competition makes it a lot difficult for him to fit in the current team. Signings like these are always big losses to the club, and not every club has that patience to give a second chance except the serving manager pushes for it, and I doubt if Alonso is actually willing to do that. But again, just like you said, the transfer window Is still very much open, and I believe if there are any interesting offers from other clubs... Then Chelsea won't hesitate to drop him off and get another replacement.

A player who couldn't play football during his prime years is unlikely to make a very effective comeback. Instead of gaining experience and becoming a world-renowned player, the whole world knows him for drugs. He was a player who could have been worth millions of euros, but I don't think most teams would want to work with him. This player was one of Chelsea's most disappointing investments.
I think the chances of him regaining his value are very low Smiley

You're right Mudryk has not really impressed since joining Chelsea so calling him a failure is fair. The question remains do Chelsea view him as a totally failure? If they do I think they would probably have legally ended his contract when he got banned but maybe because of the long term contract issued to him they decided to wait out and see. Few months before the ban Mudryk started showing some signs of improvement so maybe that's also part of the reasons Chelsea didn't terminate his contract.
Mere looking at Mudryk you will see he has talent and is working hard to improve but somehow he's finding it difficult to find his confidence. Maybe this is a second chance for him where he can redeem himself and maybe Chelsea didn't make a mistake not to terminate his contract then.

and more matches burden on Febrigas shoulder but now they are manging to sign new players to strengthen the squad and make enough back players.
With the many more games for Fabregas to handle for Como, we will se how good of a manager that he is because it is only under intense pressure that we can really know or tell the worth of a manager. The Champions league will be a good show for him to go against other top manager. I will hope that Como somehow gets to play against Arsenal, I will like to see how Fabregas gets to manage his team against Arsenal and Arteta. There has been many comparison between him and the Arsenal coach and he has even been picked as successor in the case that Arteta is sacked, but I do not think Fabregas has been under the same kind of pressure that Arteta has been able to manage so this Champions League is a good place to rate his performance and management skill.

Como are certainly very active this summer as it seems that the Italian league team is determined to build a strong squad. We saw a few days ago that they bought a defender from Chelsea and now it seems they are interested in buying the German league club Borussia Dortmund's right back Yan Couto, for which the team has already made a verbal agreement with Borussia. You notice that they have the option to bring this player to their team for a loan fee of 2 million euros and the option to buy him for over 20 million euros.

If they can integrate the best players into the squad like this, then we think that Fabregas will be unstoppable in the upcoming season. My idea this season they are trying harder than last season, especially to show a great performance in the UEFA Champions League.

He has always expressed how it was never deliberate and international. He has also said they were prescribed for him, it is reasons why they had to see to the reduction of the months he'll be banned.
Personally,  with all that happened around him and with his return, if he fails to perform under Xabi Alonso, I fear he will be sold out completely. Asides anticipation of his performance, I thought he'd be sold for the bad news around and about him.

I have just seen the news of Manchester City moving for Predo Neto, Pep Guardiola would never sign such a player. But what do I even know?! Lol! My thoughts of Maresca keeping Jack Grealish will never happen then. The transfer window is still open, we will see what happens.

Chelsea play a friendly against Juventus tomorrow and Alonso said he might give a chance for Mudryk to play for a while to see how he's doing. I think Alonso himself doesn't know what to do yet because he has no information on the player's condition. in my opinion a loan to a weaker club would be a good decision so that Mudryk can get regular playing time.
