Como is sure to grow into a bigger team. At the start of the Serie A season, Como was a team filled with older players, some were even 40 years old at the time and the average age was over 30. In their second season in Serie A, Como began to balance the roster by bringing in more young players, and for this season, I think Como has taken it a step further by signing young players, which means they’re now even preparing for the long term.

Como has acquired at least three new young players in the transfer window. They are

- Andreas Cuenca, 19 years old
- Mattia Liberali, 19 years old
- Andrea Le Borgne, 19 years old

And the team is still continuing its search in the transfer market. I like how this team is gradually becoming better.

Como are laying the foundations for a bright future, by signing some very talented young players with great potential. They should sign a few more Italian players so they can meet the limits imposed by UEFA for Champions League qualification. They need eight players trained in Italy, at least three of whom must have come through the club’s youth academy. At the moment, they only have five, one of whom was trained at the club.
The only one trained at the club is Fabio Rispoli, a very strong central midfielder, we will be hearing a lot more about him. Liberali is also a brilliant player who will go on to be very strong; in the youth teams, they said he was similar to Maldini.

Yes, I agree with you; Como have embarked on a brilliant project and it seems to be working well at the moment. As far as Italian players are concerned, it’s not really an issue anymore; they’ll include players from the youth academy in their Champions League squad, much like all Italian teams do, but they’ll never actually be fielded. That’s our major limitation.

I thought he would go to the Saudi league or MLS, but he actually chose to play in the Turkish league instead.. maybe Trabzonspor made him a really good offer, and there were other factors to consider, perhaps the fact that Turkey is an important destination for Egyptian players’ careers, and it's still in Europe. It's great for him to have found a new team after his legendary career at Liverpool.. hopefully, he'll make a great contribution to his new club.
All thoughts about Salah's new team was in Saudi, infact I had a 99% certainty that it's going to be either Al Hilal or Al Alin, I had never thought he will consider Turkey or any Turkish team will be able to make him an offer that will attract him to the league. My assumptions were all wrong as this came as a surprise to me, few days ago when I saw it I was shocked as I commented on it. Even at his age, his still going to make cool money from the team about €17+ million per annum, that's a whole lot of money. Salah is a great player and the team hopes to get from him as well on his 2 years contract.
Salah will probably be the highest-paid player in Trabzonspor history. Because Trabzonspor is one of the teams in Turkey that doesn't pay very high salaries. Despite this, the fact that they're paying the Egyptian so much means expectations are high. If he scores more than 20 goals, I think he'll have justified his salary. Regarding Saudi Arabia, I had similar thoughts to yours. I thought Mohamed Salah would go to Saudi Arabia and earn good money there, but I was wrong. It will be a privilege for us to watch him in Turkey. Now, many people will even follow Trabzonspor's matches.

Salah has had a tremendous career. In recent years, there were large empty sections in the Trabzonspor stands; however, I do not think there will be such gaps this year.
The Trabzonspor management is trying to build a strong team. It is essential that they make one or two quality signings to complement Salah. Success won't come through Salah alone, but Trabzonspor has achieved global publicity.
From now until the end of the year, Salah will make a significant contribution to the scoreline through the goals he scores and the assists he provides.

As far as I know, he will earn 18 million euros. Once his share of shirt sales is included, his annual earnings will exceed 20 million euros.
Even Liverpool wouldn't have netted that amount, because Turkey is a tax haven for footballers; the vast majority of the earnings remain in the player's pocket.

Since Real made an offer to Vinicius and said it was final, there's a possibility he could leave for another club, his transfer to Arsenal is now becoming more realistic. And of course, that's assuming it's all true and not just a media fabrication.

I think that Vinicius gets along well with Mourinho and with the various teammates, as well as with the various Real Madrid fans. i don't think he really wants to go to Arsenal, perhaps he put more emphasis on making the club afraid that he might leave, so as to get his salary increased, but that deep down he actually doesn't really want to leave.
Real Madrid is the biggest club, Vinicius Junior will not leave Real Madrid for Arsenal, and If Arsenal fans are expecting Mikel Arteta to pull a transfer that would be one of Arsenal best transfers they should wake up from their sleep and face reality, because Vinicius Junior would sign a new contract in due time. I agree, since Real Madrid management does not want to agree to what Vinicius Junior is requesting for, he is threatening to leave just to make them pay him the amount of money he is requesting for. And from understanding between Jose Mourinho, Vinicius Junior and his agent, Vinicius Junior will continuing playing at Real Madrid.

Theoretically, there could be a positive scenario: a change of club would restore Vinnie's hunger for football and he would focus on it. It is obvious that he is one of the best players in the world right now and this will benefit Arsenal, Arsenal are objectively dull in attack. Plus, Arsenal will get a boost in image, in shirt sales and so on.
Shirt sales?? To hell with that. Doesn't it bother you that Arsenal were so good last season that they were presented with the top slots to claim 4 trophies in one sitting, but they only won the premier League by a narrow margin? Bear in mind that they had one of the most prolific attacks that season and their confidence/ coordination was unbreakable. Maybe they would have lost everything if they had vini in the squad.

You're either writing nonsense or simply expressing yourself unclearly.
First of all, shirt sales and business in general are more important than titles. If your club isn't financially successful, you'll fall into ruin and be left without anything, including titles.
Secondly, besides Arsenal, a bunch of other Premier League clubs were in contention for 4/5 titles last season, which doesn't mean anything at all, only the result matters, and Arsenal's was modest.
Thirdly, you're saying that Arsenal's attack was good, seriously? Grin Is that why they were so embarrassed with corners? And their final tally is only 71 goals. Check out the 2023-24 season to see just how poor that is.

They just wanna flip those players. They hope, they can flip their price for profit if their players are doing well. However, some players performed poorly, and didn't meet their expectation. So they have to be more patience in developing these poor players, then they can sell him to get back their BEP from bought them.

So this is their business model, when they sold a player, then they will sign a one to be developed. They just acted like a football players factory. So don't be surprised if they have gigantic squad in almost every season after the acquirement of new owners.

This scheme is also used by Brighton, and it helps them to sustain their team financial even in some moments, they made huge surpluss by sold a player with massive price.

Let's say that now the fact of seeing football as a business, as a way of making profit, is no longer new. It's something that has been facing our European championships for some time now. And i is talking about Europe because it's something that happens in any championship.
Each team has its own ways of solving crises and as prices continue to rise, they must always find new ways to keep up.

I'm not sure if is because of the offer Trabzonspor gave him that was why he joined them, it could be that there was no better team that came for him that was why he joined the Turkish side as the only option. Joining the MLS would have been good too but yet again Salah knows what he wants and some of his fans would see this move as a bad one that he should have joined either clubs from Saudi or MLS like you said because those league have something special but my concern is if he can be too special in any of these leagues even the Turkish league he joined, can Salah be himself again? Because as of last season he wasn't the same guy that dominated the EPL some seasons ago, like he was sick or something, let us see his next move after he's done with Trabzonspor.

It's time for Arsenal to move on from this situation. They've had hope for Vinicius for a long time, but it seems Real Madrid will keep him for another year. It's time for Arsenal to find other alternatives. To win the championship again this year, they need to use their attacking options effectively. Therefore, strengthening their team with new attacking players would be very beneficial for the Gunners. Last year's Premier League title ended Arsenal's long wait for a championship. They want to repeat that this year, and with their already strong defense combined with good attacking players, they could win next season as well.

I can see this happening if we get Barcola.

@FabrizioRomano
🚨⚪️ Tottenham are in direct talks with Cody Gakpo’s camp over possible move this summer, after approaches revealed in July.

Deal depends on Liverpool decision; doors closed back in July but now could depend on financial package/Barcola pursuit.

#THFC are trying.
https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/2084965308209455192
I’m not sure if Liverpool will sell Gakpo, even if they manage to sign Barcola. Gakpo has become an important part of Liverpool, and he’s still under contract with the club. Besides, Gakpo is a versatile player, and his performance hasn’t declined at all. So, as I see it, there’s no reason for Liverpool to let Gakpo go, even though Tottenham really wants him. I’m confident this deal won’t go through, and Gakpo will remain at Liverpool.

Just saw this and if it happens I believe some Arsenal fans won't be happy about losing Viktor Gyökeres, both switch is good but yet again Gyökeres has been a problems to defenders he come against. Between these two strikers who can do it better for Arsenal this season?

I can see this happening if we get Barcola.

@FabrizioRomano

Gakpo hasn't exactly had a great performance. Last year, he played 52 Premier League matches for Liverpool and only scored 9 goals and provided 6 assists. So he's not an indispensable player for Liverpool. Besides his consistency and low injury rate, there might be better options in his position. I consider Szoboszlai untouchable for Liverpool. Apart from him, every other player has a chance of leaving the team. If Liverpool are going to sign Barcola, I think they could sell Gakpo to Tottenham.

Actually, a player shouldn't be judged solely on their performance; a player who plays poorly one year might play brilliantly the next. You have to see their talent and performance. If Cody Gakpo has impressed the Liverpool manager and will be an important part of his tactical approach, he won't sell him. After all, there's a new manager now, and we all know that some players thrive under a new manager. Gakpo could be one of those players.

Wow, the mystery of Mo Salah’s new club has finally been solved. Although he was previously rumored to be joining a Saudi Arabian club, it turns out he chose to return to his home country by signing with Trabzonspor. Mo Salah’s performance may not be as impressive as it was during his time with Liverpool, due to his age, but at the very least, with his experience, he can still perform well and help improve Trabzonspor’s performance.
Saudi pro league should have been a better place for Moh Sallah, he is a player that still have something to prove in football, settling down for small team is not what I expect from him, he should have at least consider joining MLS or any Saudi team that showed interest in signing him.
Perhaps Mo Salah wants to spend the rest of his career in his hometown rather than chase big money. But we don’t know for sure what Mo Salah’s real goal is in joining Trabzonspor. Only Salah himself knows. What’s clear is that we probably won’t be able to fully enjoy watching Salah in action on the field anymore, since very few of us watch the Turkish League. Unless, of course, we get to see Salah play when Trabzonspor competes in the Europa League.

The expectations at Trabzonspor are certainly not the same as those at Liverpool. During his time at Liverpool, he even won the Premier League's best player award. For Trabzonspor, the salary alone will strain the budget a bit, but having such a player without paying a transfer fee is worth everything. Trabzon is also a true football city, and I'm sure they will treat him with the utmost respect. The Egyptian has perhaps made one of the best choices of his career.

The budget problem will certainly have an impact, but with the sale of shirts, sponsors and everything that comes with the purchase of a player like Salah, he will also be able to have his profit margins. Defining Salah's move from Liverpool to Trabzonspor as one of the best choices of his career seems a bit excessive to me. However, if we look at the tranquility and the possibility of playing, in this sense, we can say yes. Wink

Watching Salah in the Premier League was a real pleasure. Now, as a Turk, it's time to watch him in the Turkish league. I know there aren't many people watching the Turkish league in Europe, but we Turks are excited because having such quality players in our league will lead to more enjoyable matches. Matches like Trabzonspor's games against Fenerbahçe, Galatasaray, and Beşiktaş will be especially exciting. Because if Salah works his magic, these matches will be incredibly enjoyable.

Fabrizio Romano has given a shocker report. This Arsenal deal may never proceed as Real Madrid and Vinicious Junior are close to reaching a concrete agreement for the Brazilian international to remain in the team for a long time as José Morinho has earmarked him as one player he needs in his team and every efforts has to be made to keep him in the Bernabeu. Arsenal has monitored the situation closely and has also budgeted a huge sum for this transfer should the agreement fail. Final agreement is expected to be met and signed within the shortest possible period.

Arsenal will not agree to the deal because they know what Gyokeres is doing for them, i don’t know what is special about Alvarez, Barcelona is the only club that is interested in the player, and Atletico Madrid did not want to sell him to their Spanish rivals, Alvarez wants to leave but Atletico Madrid is asking for a fee that both Real Madrid and Barcelona can not afford, 500 million release clause for Alvarez is too high, no any club in the world can pay that amount.

Atletico Madrid should just put a good price on the player and sell him to Barcelona, he is the perfect replacement for Lewandowski and Ferran Torres, Alvarez will fit into Barcelona system and play style, Arsenal did not need striker, they needs a winger that is fast and can score goals, which is why they are interested in signing Vinicius.

From the Turkish league I have seen those other teams you have mentioned play but never ever seen the team Salah transferred too even in Uefa league competition play before.
But the same of what you have said about not many watching Turkish football can be said about North America aswell. Unless they have immigrated from that country and have met others to watch at the local pub you rarely see this league being played when their live matches are on.
This move might change that since others will want to see how Salah will perform after leaving the Premier League and what Trabzonspor is all about. Also to see if their team improves with him in the lineup.

I don’t where you get this, but I don’t think it true, top football journalist have not yesterday posted anything about a swap deal between these two. Ben Jacobs who is the most trusted football journalist in England have not mentioned anything about this and also fabrizio have not said anything about this. To even think of it I don’t think Atletico Madrid will want to let go Alvarez, not even for a swapped deal.

Just this transfer window, they just sold a player who play very similar to Gyokeres, Sorloth. Also Barcelona have been on Alvarez since they season ended, they still willinh to pay over 100 million euros for the Argentine.

On the other hand Arsenal have been busy on getting Guimaraes deal done and were also on tab about Vinicius, just Incase he didn’t extend his contract with Real Madrid.
