First of all, shirt sales and business in general are more important than titles. If your club isn't financially successful, you'll fall into ruin and be left without anything, including titles.

It looks like the war will still continue and with this I feel that Barcelona wants revenge with what Madrid did before for Julian Alvarez.
To buy Rodri for Barcelona though it is a pretty good move but I don't feel that it is worth it because for now they have an awful lot of midfielders unless Flick does want to make the midfield a fighting arena for their own players.

How about Real Madrid that shows interest in the player since the beginning of the transfer market, are they not interested in signing the player again after Mourinho’s arrival at the club? Or it’s Rodri’s decision to give both of these team green light to come for him since he has shown some signs that the injury he has been going in the premier league is enough for him, he is trying to leave the premier league and come back to the Laliga where he was before joining Manchester City.

I seems like Barcelona is not ready to sign Rodri, you close rival is offering 60-70 million, and they are confidently offered €45 million. This transfer market just keep on surprising me. Tonali was sold for €100m, and the youngsters Matheus Fernades was sold for €85m, then why the hell will Man city want to sell Rodri for €45m.
