Rumor has it that Rodri’s preference is Barcelona, but Barcelona are not serious imo. How do you bid 38 million for a ballon d’Or and 2026 World Cup winner? It would have been shocking if Manchester City accepted that deal. I’m not a big fan of the La Liga so I don’t care if he goes to Madrid or Barcelona. My concern is how come a player like Rodri is valued at 60m when Morgan Rogers is valued at over 100 million??
Barcelona is actually not serious at all, how can they price the best defensive midfielder in the premier league for as low as 38 million, it is embarrassing seriously because other players coming from Laliga and other leagues are always very expensive, and player like Rodri from Laliga’s best team will worth nothing less than £100 million, with this disrespect, I don’t think the deal will be possible and if Barcelona keeps negotiating like they want to sign an average player, they can lose him for Madrid even though they are also not serious. Of course Barcelona's offer is too low but there are several reasons for this: 1) They just began negotiating, so of course they start with a low offer so they can see Manchester City's counteroffer; 2) Barcelona still have serious financial troubles, so they must be very cautious with money; 3) Rodri's contract expires next year, so it's totally unreasonable to ask 100 millions for a player whose contract is about to expire; 4) Rodri is super good but he is 30 years old and he had a serious injury. In my opinion, considering what I said, I think 60-70 millions would be a fair price.

🚨🚨💣 EXCLUSIVE: Liverpool agree loan deal to sign Ronald Araujo from Barcelona, HERE WE GO! Verbal agreement club to club with Barça now approved by director Deco. New centre back for #LFC with a surprise bomba. Fellow Liverpool fans gather here immediately. Did you see this coming!!! Verify from https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/2085839780550516868@LFC_Bitcoin, @Jostern. This transfer was really quick and it's something I did not see it coming, though with the departure of Konate, a solid replacement was needed to strengthen the defence once again. Araujo is a great player, and can play in different positions as we have seen on different occasions so this should be a really good addition to the team. Liverpool has not being the best with their transfers this summer and that is quite unlikely. Mo Salah's position would need a solid replacement before the close of the transfer window, that should be the next push Liverpool would be chasing.

For one thing, he is a very sluggish player. He was a liability in the matches he played for Barça last season. I always wondered how Barça even made him captain. He is the prime candidate to be this year's transfer flop for Liverpool. I'm leaving this post here as proof. In my opinion, it's a very bad signing. It was made to fill the void left by Konate, but it's a huge mistake.

Iraola is being much more modest in the transfer market than Slot. But then again, Liverpool's squad is pretty well equipped, so maybe that's the reason. Regarding Mohamed Salah's replacement, I see Liverpool actively interested in Barcola. But it's all in the early stages of negotiations, so it's unclear whether they'll be able to land him. And if they do, I suspect the transfer fee will be huge, although that's never stopped Liverpool.

Gabjes is washed and it's a bit surprise there is still a club that wants him. I meant he's not longer what he used to be, and he's often out of the pitch due to the injury. So the move make by Napoli seems a risky move. Unless, Arsenal will release him for cheap price. But moving to the Napoli must become his best choice for now consider he can't follow the intense of EPL. So moving to the serie a is a must. However i'm wondering how much Arsenal will sell him. The last time Arsenal set £20m price for him, but it makes no sense for someone who often staying off the pitch. It makes sense if they decrease his price to be a bit lower than that. Hope he will be completed this move because it's important for him to play in the less intense league such as serie a.

Because Ronald Araujo is injury prone player , not consistent and do most of the time bad decisions on the fields. I don't know why Liverpool bought him on loan. Barcelona didn't even give him a chance to play. Last season they only played 10 game and most of the time when he come to the fields they did some kinda mistake to make team in trouble. If you remember the PSG matchs when Ronald Araujo made a mistake and refree give him a red card. Barcelona lose that's match because of Red card. You can look the Inter Milan matchs there is alot of examples how Ronald Araujo is bad for any team in football world. So the loan deal is done and there is buy option as well but i don't know Liverpool can activate thats term after seeing Araujo make them in trouble Huh. But let's see how Ronald Araujo can do in Liverpool. Hope he can do has best.

Not sure what to make of Diomande, he was in high demand but looked crap in the World Cup.
To this day, I still wonder what Diomande’s strengths are that made Real Madrid willing to break the club’s transfer record to sign him. Especially since I myself didn’t know what this player’s reputation was like before. Diomande is still young, but the price paid to bring him to Real Madrid is very high, in my opinion. I don’t know how Diomande will be able to live up to the team’s expectations in the future, since he’ll face immense pressure due to his status as the club’s most expensive player.

Am as surprised as you man, because his performance in the just concluded world cup tournament was purely shit, and if we are going by his performance in the tournament, he would not be expensive or even up to €20million. Though I don't expect him to flop at real madrid because he is not going to be a regular starter, and Jose Mourinho will want to give him more confidence, so that he can play without fear, but the big question is that can he man up and deliver when called upon? That's what only time will tell because he will be shown the exit door next summer if he doesn't live to the expectations.

Gabjes is washed and it's a bit surprise there is still a club that wants him. No surprise is that he will move to the Italian league and then maybe find his spark again. Even though he may never be able to replicate the form he was in in his prime days at Manchester City, he definitely still has something left in him. Personally as an Arsenal fan, I am happy he is leaving; he is amongst the players we need to offload to make room for newer players that have something to offer. Not sure what to make of Diomande, he was in high demand but looked crap in the World Cup.

It is the target of Papa Perez to have Vini on the left, Mbappe in the middle, and Diomande on the right for attack, three very pacy players! If Diomande fits in, Real Madrid could again have one of the deadliest attacks in Europe; the only attacks I think that will come close are Bayern Munich's and PSG's.
With Vini now confirmed to remain at Real Madrid, which left winger do you think Arsenal will try to bring to add to Tzolis?

Are you trying to doubt what had already been proven or you didn't watch their matches/ you just love to argue blindly, which one of them? 71 goals in a season doesn't convince you that they had a prolific attack? How many of those were headed goals-- 17, meanwhile 57 was inside the box making it 80.3% of their league total. So tell me, did the defenders score 57 goals from inside their opponent box?
"Well, City had more goals than that", but they didn't win the trophy.
Unlike you, I watched the matches and at certain times, the likes of Gabriel Magalhães and Saliba had to save Arsenal by scoring goals via set pieces. That doesn't seem to be a team that has a "profilic attack" The stats say everything. It's Arsenal's mean defense that saved them so much. Like I said, even Manchester United, which had a very bad beginning of the season, had 69 goals. For comparison, here are the 25 topmost-scoring teams each season, and Arsenal's total number of EPL goals last season isn't even close ---> https://www.statmuse.com/fc/ask/most-goals-scored-by-a-team-in-a-single-season-premier-leagueMaybe you just don't know what "profilic attack" means

Another update from Barcola's sage. PSG wants 150m for him. I think Liverpool has to find an alternative for him. PSG ain't a poor club, and they're not in the need of money. Pursuing him is already a mistake by Liverpool. 150m for b2b UCL champion absolutely make sense if we compare him to the Morgan, Elliot and Isaak who never won prestigious trophies in their career. I don't think they wanna break another transfer record by signing him. 150 million, that’s an extremely high price. Liverpool certainly wouldn’t be willing to pay that much. But, by the way, why is PSG holding onto Barcola at such a high price? Isn’t Barcola’s contract about to expire, and didn’t he just turn down a new contract extension? This means PSG risks losing Barcola for free if they don’t sell him while he still holds value. Especially since Liverpool is reportedly offering 100 million, which I think is a reasonable price for a player who is merely a backup at PSG.

Now this was a shocker, regardless this is part of the transfer market that's exciting. Araujo can add a lot on the team defense if he can get better like before while many especially Barcelona fans criticizing him, I still feel he is a good one and would have appreciated if my team Chelsea went for him especially from the fact that we have some more terrible players at the back.

Realize it or not after Liverpool released by Jurgen Klopp makes Liverpool like losing direction, vision and identity of the club. The recruitment of players under Arne Slot is a mess of hundreds of dollars for players who did not make a positive impact and now a new coach has been appointed but the direction of Liverpool desire to return to his identity is still far from Hope. Recruiting Araujo as a step that is considered inappropriate.

I remember reading a few unofficial news reports yesterday about a £17M price tag and even though you have a point on why the price should be lower than £20M, I still genuinely think he's worth more than that [in a less intense league and a suitable system he'll do wonders, but Arsenal is really bad in selling their players at their true value].

A price of 60 million pounds is indeed what Man City has been asking for so far. And yes, I think that price would be quite reasonable. Actually, there’s another reason why Barcelona dared to make such a low offer: reportedly, Rodri has already reached a personal agreement with Barcelona. This means Rodri himself is quite interested in joining Barcelona, although I can’t confirm that report yet. However, with negotiations still ongoing, I think Manchester City is indeed prepared to let the player go eventually. But they’re just waiting for Barcelona to make a new, more reasonable offer. Since Barcelona’s initial offer was only half of what Manchester City is asking for, Barcelona is surely aware of this and is likely preparing their next offer.

Real Madrid right wing is poor, Rodrigo do handle that position very well but he was poor last season and at some point, he went to injury, he wasn't present in the finished world cup because of the injury. The club needed a natural right wing which is why they went for Diomande in the first place. At first it was Olise they wanted to buy but I don't know what happened behind the scene about his move and I'm surprised kompany admited nobody discussed Olise move with him to another club, he was not aware. What I don't understand is why Leipzig refused to let him go or we didn't see his potential since we don't know much about the club. 100m Euro for that kind of player is too expensive that if they don't win any league next season, I think Real Madrid might have to do mass sack and sell some players so he will be able to recover the money spent on this players, this is already too much.

The recruitment of players under Arne Slot is a mess of hundreds of dollars for players who did not make a positive impact and now a new coach has been appointed but the direction of Liverpool desire to return to his identity is still far from Hope. Recruiting Araujo as a step that is considered inappropriate.
Last season was the most disappointing one for Liverpool. The decline in performance was all too evident. The Liverpool of the previous season and the Liverpool we saw last season seemed like two different teams. Liverpool’s biggest mistake was letting one of their best defenders, Trent John Alexander-Arnold, go to Real Madrid last season. Because last season, Liverpool truly seemed to lack any kind of solid defensive foundation at all. Yet during the Klopp era and even in the first season after Klopp’s departure when his successor took over, we still saw Liverpool with a solid defense. But once this one player left for Real Madrid, well, that changed everything. Now Liverpool has lost another key defender, Ibrahima Konaté, and it all happened because he couldn’t reach an agreement on a new contract. And now he’s off to Real Madrid. To be honest, I just don’t understand what’s going on at Liverpool anymore. And I can’t really expect much from their current coach, Andoni Iraola.
By the way, the friendly match between PSG and Man Utd is currently underway.

I don’t think PSG will ever get 150million on barcola, it really going to be impossible, especially for a player who have barely a season on his contract. If PSG refuses to step down I think Liverpool will be looking to get other options. I also get PSG points of view, they are thinking if Morgan Rogers and Diomande can be signed above 130 million they barcola should worth more. The transfer market is highly exploited and teams are demanding so much from each other, especially for a young player. We just also recently saw Liverpool signing Aroajo on loan and agreeing to pay his full salary till the end of his loan spell, not just that but they also agreed to pay 55Million if they agree to permanently sign him by the end of the season.

I don't know why Lukaku need to make a move to Fenerbahçe (for me I'd love to still see him in any of these leagues, Serie A, EPL or even La Liga), things hasn't been working for him like the way he wanted and playing for top clubs like Manchester United, Chelsea, Inter Milan and Napoli, I think his stay at Inter Milan was the best and he did pretty well but the question is why did he leave Inter where he has been excelling? Well, who knows if this deal pulls through we might be seeing some good performance from the Belgium striker.

This Barcelona transfer is full of drama, Rodri wants to come to Barcelona and Manchester City also wants to let him go, but the price is still being discussed. I saw on social media that City have demanded 80 million for Rodri, which may be a bit difficult for Barcelona. However, I think spending 60-70 million for Rodri would not be a bad decision for Barcelona. The transfer is still ongoing due to Rodri's interest, otherwise City would have rejected this offer already. Similarly, Julian Alvarez's contract is still stuck, Alvarez is interested but Atletico Madrid is not willing to let him go. The price being demanded for him is difficult for Barcelona. If Alvarez had demanded a tolerable price like Rodri, then maybe the transfer would have been concluded by now. Barcelona's transfer is full of drama, which I am enjoying very much.
