I feel the major reason he has been OFF and ON the pitch is basically because of few injuries and probably falling out of sight from Arteta, if a player stays on the bench for far too long, trust me it will affect his consistency. Don't be surprised that, if this Napoli move comes into fruition and he sees regular playing time, you won't say these things about him, his stay in Arsenal is long overdue, let him take a bow, Napoli is good move if it works out.

I don’t think PSG will ever get 150million on barcola, it really going to be impossible, especially for a player who have barely a season on his contract. If PSG refuses to step down I think Liverpool will be looking to get other options. I also get PSG points of view, they are thinking if Morgan Rogers and Diomande can be signed above 130 million they barcola should worth more.

The transfer market is highly exploited and teams are demanding so much from each other, especially for a young player. We just also recently saw Liverpool signing Aroajo on loan and agreeing to pay his full salary till the end of his loan spell, not just that but they also agreed to pay 55Million if they agree to permanently sign him by the end of the season.

It’s too much and it’s probably just posturing from PSG, trying to get the most money they can. Let’s remember they have Kvara and Doue in the wide attacking positions.

They just signed Akliouche too and are after Ferran Torres from Barca too. Barcola is not a guaranteed starter so it looks like they are preparing for life without him.

🚨🚨💣 EXCLUSIVE: Liverpool agree loan deal to sign Ronald Araujo from Barcelona, HERE WE GO!

Verbal agreement club to club with Barça now approved by director Deco.

New centre back for #LFC with a surprise bomba.

Fellow Liverpool fans gather here immediately. Did you see this coming!!!

Verify from https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/2085839780550516868
@LFC_Bitcoin, @Jostern.
It’s entirely possible that we’ll see an agreement and an official announcement regarding Araujo’s transfer to Anfield. If people say that Araujo could be a good signing for Liverpool, I’d say this is the right move because we really do need a center back to partner with van Dijk.
Perhaps this news is coming exclusively from Fabrizio Romano, as major Spanish and British media outlets have remained silent on the matter.

I completely agree with you, this days i hardly write off players, a player might be doing poorly in a particular team due to the teams playing pattern which might influence his game play and sometimes cause the player regular injuries but same player might end up going to another club and performing well, Gabriel jesus is a Brazilian and one thing i know for sure is that Brazilians are exceptional when it comes to football, Arsenal playing pattern doesn’t seem to favor him that is why it seems he isn’t doing well, one might be shocked that Gabriel might go to Napoli and excel tremendously.

Arsenal has got to the point where they don't need to depend on injury proned players, they've become so competitive that they need players that are not in the first team to be as reliable as the first team players and Gabriel can't offer that despite being a good player, he's helped Arsenal in the past but selling him is necessary.

 Some players get better when they change environment so hopefully he could move and settle well in another without sustaining too much injury like he did in Arsenal. English players that move to Napoli mostly succeed in getting better so going there might end up being a good choice for his career.

I agree with what you said considering, that Gabriel Jesus at Arsenal is currently playing less minutes due to an ACL injury. it is right for him to leave Arsenal to look for another team, considering that the current Arsenal squad is very competitive they have to play and train harder to be able to defend the English Premier League title, in my opinion, his choice to play at Napoli is right now, the Italian league is more relaxed than the very tough English league. Hopefully Gabriel Jesus future at his new team will shine considering that he is currently 29 years old and has just recovered from an injury

Arsenal have no option but to keep a player on the bench, especially in the competitive games they will be playing in the upcoming season. Gabriel Jesus is really inconsistent with Arsenal, he spent most of his time on the bench last season. Arsenal now need a strong XI rather than a strong bench.

So it would be a good decision for Arsenal to release him now and look for a good forward. Because we already know that Arsenal's attack line is relatively weak, they should add some star players there. They tried to get Vinicius in the team, although it is not possible to get him, Arsenal can look for an alternative to Vinicius. Arsenal can also look for an alternative center forward to Gabriel Jesus if necessary. Basically, Arsenal need to strengthen their attack line.

Exactly, PSG are trying to make as much as possible from him. They 3 wingers currently are also looking at Godts to replace barcola already. I feel if Liverpool stick to the 100M or possibly add 10M to it, making it 110M PSG might be tempted to sell.

As a Liverpool fan, What do you think, Liverpool currently need a winger, a flashy one to be precise, but then that figure is too much for Barcola. So will you want the board to push to get him for what PSG want or they should seek another option.

Don’t forget also, aside Barcola I don’t see a flashy winger who will want to leave their team. I will really like to hear what you think on this.

Having enough playing time is not the problem with Gabriel Jesus but he is always falling to injury which makes him unfit in most of their matches. Since he joined Arsenal it has been from one injury to the other so he is no more a player that can be reliable. I don't even know why Napoli is interested in him, they need a consistent player that can help to put pressure in the team and compete against Inter Milan. I like the fact that Arsenal wants to let him go because they need vibrant players who can play many matches without falling to injury, after all they have many matches to attend this season and for the fact that they are the defending Champions of the EPL, they need players who are enthusiastic to be in the line up of a match.

Is injury is not but the May consider as enough reason to let him go completely or for Arsenal to release him cheaply as you may thought, is an experience player and once is fully pack and his feet to deliver as usual, then expect that more thing to bid for him, Napoli new what they saw and that is why they are more interested, sometimes you mean observe a particular desiring quality from a player and that can be the same reason why we are going for him.

Well having playing time is actually a Big problem with Gabriel Jesus, even if he was fit I don't think he would be starting regularly for Arsenal but this isn't his fault but the swedish striker best fit Arsenal and also Martinelli is there too so the competition is very strong for Gabriel Jesus he could see playing time in less competition for Arsenal.
Gabriel Jesus is a high earner so I don't think he will have a part in Arsenal's future.

Arsenal have no option but to keep a player on the bench, especially in the competitive games they will be playing in the upcoming season. Gabriel Jesus is really inconsistent with Arsenal, he spent most of his time on the bench last season. Arsenal now need a strong XI rather than a strong bench.
Gabriel spent much of his time in the bench last season because he suffered a lot from injures, that’s why he wasn’t not able to be consistent. I think since another team has show interest on him Arsenal should let him go so that they can get a new players, because Arsenal still deserves a better squads that will be more competitive and will bring a team to the top of the league next season.

Because even though they decide to keep Gabriel to play with them next coming season, I don’t think they can able to use him more than five times throughout the season. Due to his injuries which i know that if he still facing a high significant injury, Arsenal will still consider and bench him back.

Of course Barcelona's offer is too low but there are several reasons for this:
1) They just began negotiating, so of course they start with a low offer so they can see Manchester City's counteroffer;
2) Barcelona still have serious financial troubles, so they must be very cautious with money;
3) Rodri's contract expires next year, so it's totally unreasonable to ask 100 millions for a player whose contract is about to expire;
4) Rodri is super good but he is 30 years old and he had a serious injury.

In my opinion, considering what I said, I think 60-70 millions would be a fair price.

It’s disrespectful and poor for an initial offer, especially when you know Manchester City rejected Real Madrid’s 50m bid. If I was Manchester City, I would not bother going into negotiations with Barcelona. I know they are worried about losing Rodri for free next year but 30m to a UCL competition is a bad deal imo.

The fee is ridiculous and same as the top signings from Tottenham, Chelsea and Real Madrid this transfer window, although I'm not surprised seeing Liverpool being kept in such dilemma after their spending spree last season teams will want to cash out big on you guys.

I guess if Barcola pushed for exist and I don't know what Liverpool will have to do in order to get him less than an £100m maybe go for another option.

Not that impressed with those signings to be honest. Bernardo Silva is old, Dumfries is average, Konate is inconsistent. I don't even know who the guy above Konate is. Also Mourinho is past his best.

Not sure what to make of Diomande, he was in high demand but looked crap in the World Cup. Cucarella is a good signing though. I don't think it's enough to make Real the power that they were.

Yes, i agree with you that Mourinho is past his prime, but he is still a special coach and is ready to give us some surprises. Regarding signings, Bernardo Silva also it is true that he is no longer in his prime. i also find Dumfries average, but given how the Spanish championship is played, his speed can be a determining factor. Konate, he made a few too many mistakes at Liverpool and i agree with you when you say that perhaps Real Madrid's signings aren't exactly the best.

Barcelona is given the opportunity of stealing a good player from Real Madrid yet they're joking with the opportunity, they're not serious else they would've start with something higher than what Real Madrid offered not lower, Manchester City might find it disrespectful cause Barcelona is aware they reject a higher offer for the player.
 Maybe Barcelona felt they stand a chance with £30m cause Rodri wants them and might force a move to make it cheaper but since Real Madrid is involved in the transfer battle they either step up their offer or back off.

@LFC_Bitcoin, @Jostern.

First time i see big clubs like Liverpool getting players on loan from other big clubs,didnt see that in a long time honesty. Araujo can come handy to Liverpool as a backup if someone gets injured. I dont think he will start because he is a player on loan and that tells a lot. So i think he will be a backup and if he proves himself in Liverpool they will surely sign him once loan expires.

You’re right, Barcola is better than those two players, but Diomande for example is never worth 125 million. Yes, he has a lot of potential, but that potential isn’t worth 125 million.

Transfer fees are getting crazier and crazier and reaching increasingly unbelievable levels. Barcola for >150 million? We just have to think back to what other former stars back then cost and what people are paying these days for players who are merely “strong.”

Well, this will be a very good move for him if it works out. Gabriel Jesus has contributed his quota well to the team even though he didn’t get to play much last season. I don’t see him as a very poor player, he can still pick up because I feel he still has the spark in him and will do well in Napoli. The chances of him moving to Napoli is very high and I see a possibility here because he can’t regain his starting spot at Arsenal again, not with this present squad in the team. Napoli is a great club and he’ll do well to have enough playing time there compared to when he was playing at Arsenal.

Rumor has it that Rodri’s preference is Barcelona, but Barcelona are not serious imo. How do you bid 38 million for a ballon d’Or and 2026 World Cup winner? It would have been shocking if Manchester City accepted that deal. I’m not a big fan of the La Liga so I don’t care if he goes to Madrid or Barcelona. My concern is how come a player like Rodri is valued at 60m when Morgan Rogers is valued at over 100 million??
Barcelona is actually not serious at all, how can they price the best defensive midfielder in the premier league for as low as 38 million, it is embarrassing seriously because other players coming from Laliga and other leagues are always very expensive, and player like Rodri from Laliga’s best team will worth nothing less than £100 million, with this disrespect, I don’t think the deal will be possible and if Barcelona keeps negotiating like they want to sign an average player, they can lose him for Madrid even though they are also not serious.
Of course Barcelona's offer is too low but there are several reasons for this:
1) They just began negotiating, so of course they start with a low offer so they can see Manchester City's counteroffer;
2) Barcelona still have serious financial troubles, so they must be very cautious with money;
3) Rodri's contract expires next year, so it's totally unreasonable to ask 100 millions for a player whose contract is about to expire;
4) Rodri is super good but he is 30 years old and he had a serious injury.

In my opinion, considering what I said, I think 60-70 millions would be a fair price.

60-70 million is indeed a fair price for him, one is not really sure of his health, he's an injury prone so Manchester City should reconsider their asking price, Rodri is 30 years now and will be leaving the team comes next season as a free agent, so what is the need of asking that much for him, to me paying above this amount is not taken by me, and these are the things that is spoiling the transfer market, they should stop selling players higher than they are worth, Manchester City should have a rethink on that demand, and again are they really sure they want to let go of Rodri?? They might regret it after on.
