Napoli has become something of a rehabilitation center for established players in Europe—De Bruyne, Lukaku, and now potentially Gabriel Jesus.

Lukaku might always be prone to injuries' but Gabriel Jesus is not going to be capable of standing as a worthy replacement to lukaku because just like victor osimehn left and lukaku at least helped feel that gap, they will be looking for a one man Stricker that is also capable of carrying the club on his shoulder like lukaku or the likes of vo9 will do. Age is just one of the factors to be looked into when considering the overall performance of an attacker. lukaku had a little time in world cup and made an impact immediately. you can completely think of him as a useless on not so good player regardless of age and injury.

I think it’s you who needs to do some research and most probably don’t get to call someone a liar, first of all I agree with Jostern that Gabriel Jesus’s career at Arsenal was done the moment the premier league champions signed Victor Gyokeres last summer because he just fell down the picking ladder. In fact Gabriel Jesus had actually been only remotely fit only last season and had been out injured in most of the previous three seasons.

Arsenal gambled on him and it didn’t pay off because in 2022 when he got signed he had a knee injury at the World Cup and was out for the almost the rest of the remaining season, that’s like 15 to  20 games and then the 2023/2024 season the knee injury had a relapse again and he missed out in some games like 10 games too and then the 2024/2025 he had an ACL which kept him out of the season for the longest time that’s around 45 games, if you total all this games then you will see he had missed nearly 80 games in total and has played around 120 games that like 40% of the matches missed. All this you can actually research about it.

Jesus' transfer isn't all that simple, and it depends on how the relationship between Napoli and Lukaku develops. There are currently reports that Fenerbahce has made an offer for Lukaku. Perhaps if Lukaku leaves for Fenerbahce, Napoli will step up their efforts to land Jesus. However for now, negotiations are still underway. There are also reports that Jesus' agent visited Napoli's training ground, but the agent himself claims he came to meet with Allegri and did not discuss Jesus' transfer.

For the better player among Romelu Lukaku and Gabriel Jesus I think Lukaku is more dependable for me since both of them are naturally injury prone. If not for lukaku's age I don't think that Napoli would be in the business of replacing Lukaku with Gabriel Jesus but the Italian club needs a younger player in that position. Any player much younger below the age of Gabriel Jesus would cost Napoli much more than what Arsenal are willing for a fees for their forward, of which Napoli doesn't look willing to spend huge fee.

From your comments, both now and earlier, I can't help but think that PSG could end up repeating the same mistake they made with Mbappe. If Barcola is genuinely more open to joining another club, but PSG insist on keeping him by setting an unrealistic transfer fee, it could easily turn into a similar situation. In the end, the player may stay until his contract expires, and PSG could once again lose out financially.

Sometimes I feel that, despite being one of the wealthiest clubs in football, PSG's management decisions can be difficult to understand. There always seems to be some kind of drama surrounding the club.

Of course, recruiting Guimaraes for Arsenal is the right move after failing to bring Vini from Madrid. So far, Arsenal defense has also been solid Arteta has only focused on the midfield and forward lines when it comes to buying players. So with the arrival of Bruno Guimaraes, Arsenal midfield will get even stronger and definitely more creative. Because Guimaraes, Rice, and Odegaard are currently the best combination and they will handle different tasks in Arsenal midfield next season.

Because if you look at the skills each player has we can see Guimaraes is more aggressive in winning and carrying the ball, Rice is stronger at reading and securing the midfield area, while Odegaard's job is to create something from that possession. This transfer was really quick and it's something I  did not see it coming, though with the departure of Konate, a solid replacement was needed to strengthen the defence once again. Araujo is a great player, and can play in different positions as we have seen on different occasions so this should be a really good addition to the team.

Liverpool has not being the best with their transfers this summer and that is quite unlikely. Mo Salah's position would need a solid replacement before the close of the transfer window, that should be the next push Liverpool would be chasing.

I guess it's not because of Konate only: let's not forget that Leoni spent a full year injured, so it's going take time for him to properly recover the speed and strength; then we have Virgil who is still probably Liverpool's best defender but he is already 35 years old, so they really needed some extra backup.

I wonder if they really Araujo or they simply got him because they could get him on loan, without actually purchasing the player.
