PSG’s offer to Barcelona for Ferran Torres will put Barcelona in a difficult position when deciding what to do next. Lewandowski has already left the club, and Ferran Torres could actually be a good alternative. But, offers from PSG are always tempting, and if Barcelona are willing to let him go, PSG might still agree to a higher transfer fee. What do you think? Will Barcelona let Ferran Torres leave for financial gain without considering who will replace him? https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/2086799667497517161?s=20PSG might be able to get Ferran Torres because they can afford him, and the player has shown Interest to leave. He has concluded the personal terms of the contract with PSG and has already informed Hansi Flick of his intentions to leave. Since Julián Álvarez is untouchable, Dušan Vlahović or Victor Osimhen will be good replacements for Ferran. Vlahović would be the perfect choice because he is cheaper and still effective.

If Vlahovic weren't a problematic player, he would have already transferred to a team in one of Europe's top five leagues. He is currently a free agent, and Beşiktaş has made the best financial offer. Since Vlahovic wants to stay in Europe, he has put Beşiktaş on hold until August 15th. Why would Barça sell Ferran and then sign someone like Osimhen—or another player—at a much higher cost? It makes no sense at all. If Ferran himself wants to leave, however, that changes things.

Ferran Torres is one lucky bastard in football, playing top teams with such performance needs to be studied for real. He moved to Barcelona from Manchester City and now heading to Paris Saint German. He's actually not a Terrible player but somehow every team he joins are never satisfied with his performance despite scoring some goals. Some Barcelona fans criticize him alot, saying he misses too many chances but I still see him as a decent player. Good move for him, if he can get enough playing time he should be a good addition for them. To be competitive Barcelona needs a proper striker, Alvarez would have been a proper fit for them but Atletico Madrid are not welcoming any offers so i will say they should move for Osimhen he will solve the problem easily. Sometimes it's better to spend money to fully satisfy your want rather than just managing.

Beyond any doubt Barcelona should need to let Ferran Torres for PSG because his performance is not even a level of Barcelona and from all above he is good way to generate little budget for new transfer. In previous season I watch every single match of Barcelona are literally in all matches Ferran Torres performance was absolutely awful like in entire team no one has missed much more open chances than Ferran Torres.... So that's why I am in favor of his selling because right now Barcelona need financial help and definitely Ferran Torres will earn money to bring new signing. Julia Alveraz is already in Barcelona radar and I hope if PSG give a good price tag to Barcelona then probably Julian Alveraz move will be sealed soon. However let see what happens next.

Barcelona should let him go, if he's not ready to stay at the club. Does Ferran Torres think leaving Barcelona will help PSG win the Champions League? PSG are no longer the Champions League favorite, it will be a bad move if he insists on leaving Barcelona. Barcelona are not looking at the side of Osimhen, he's the striker that is supposed to be the hottest in the transfer window.

Wow?Really?40m for Martinelli is huge, but it has to be more than it consider he's EPL winner last season. In comparison, Gordon went to Barcelona for 70m and i don't think it's a sense price to let him go to Galatasaray with less than 70m. If it's 80m, it must be enough to get him.
However, Arsenal is yet to signing a high quality left winger. So it's unlikely they're selling him and Trossard in the same window.
Any arsenal fans here? Will you guys let him go for 40m to Galatasaray? Does selling him is a blunder for Arteta?
As for Martinelli Arsenal should better turn down the offer because of his need in the cub in this new season and even though Arsenal have the intention of buying another player as replacement it wnt still make any sense of positive impact for the club who is still at the fragile position in reclaiming their position in the EPL and champions league,. We can't have both players playing same wing gets sold out without a replacement arrangement. The Turkish league clubs are also adding experienced players in this transfer window, among which we have noticed that Trabzonspor have already signed Salah and have also committed to bringing in Darwin Nunez. So it seems that the current Turkish league champions may be going a step further in signing the best players as they have offered 40 million euros for Arsenal winger Martinelli. Another thing we should note is that Arsenal have already signed a winger from Club Brugge. If the Turkish league club can get this player involved in the team, I think they will be even stronger because last season the Brazilian was the most effective in the UEFA Champions League as he was able to score six goals in the UCL, ther maybe maybe Galatasaray are interested in signing this player to increase the depth of their team in the upcoming Turkish league season.

You're sounding like a Barcelona faithful who's obsessed with Ferran Torres and is pained that he might leave the club to Paris Saint Germaine this summer. As it stands, Paris Saint Germaine are still one of the favourites to win the UEFA Champions League competition this season so it's very possible that Ferran Torres might end the season with UCL medal as a PSG player if he signs for them. For Victor Osimhen, I'm very surprised that a lot of the top clubs aren't coming for his signature this summer. Barcelona's financial strength I don't think is enough to go for a player like Osimhen.

Smiles, you know I don't really blame Paris Saint Germain on these demands, in the past years other clubs has been milking them and they were actually spending in search of a Greener pasture in those players, now they've become what they have ever dreamed of, now it's their turn to milk others, like what do you expect from them exactly? Note those players are time two UEFA Champions League winners, so anyone going for them should be ready to bring out founds, or else such person should back off, this is their time and they will have to make good use of it. PSG is a rich club , and they can afford all those players . Not sure if milking is the right word, because they were just desperate to sign anything that has 2 legs with good skills . No club will buy Barcola with that ridiculous placed on him. If he's that good they won't try to sell him, clubs would be the one fighting to sign him . Deal is already done mate. -snip- Deal is yet to be sealed because Barcelona rejected 40M offer from PSG. As a Barclona fan , I would like Torres to leave but still , we need someone that can give us those unexpected last minute goals.

Barcelona would sure sell him to PSG, he has just one year remaining in his contract and PSG have already made a 50 million Euros offer to them. Barcelona have been after lewandoski’s replacement for a while now.. Alvarez which I think they can’t get. They might end up signing their other options if they don’t get to pull this Alvarez deal, so I think they have a replacement plan already. Since Julián Álvarez is untouchable, Dušan Vlahović or Victor Osimhen will be good replacements for Ferran. Vlahović would be the perfect choice because he is cheaper and still effective.
Deco and the entire Barcelona’s management have still not given up this Alvarez deal but according to El Desmarque, if the deal doesn’t have any progress next week then they’ll consider signing Lautaro from Inter Milan. Victor Osimhen wouldn’t be easy to get, he’s having a good time at Galatasaray and at this point when the season is about to start, I don’t think Galatasaray would even consider any offer for him. They might just have to sign Vlahovic at last since Lautaro wouldn’t be an easy signing either.

I don't know for sure, but my feeling is that Barca will release Ferran Torres to PSG.. even though PSG's final offer doesn't match what Barca wants, but seeing Ferran's desire to play at PSG, it makes Barca probably change their mind and accept the offer. Maybe later in return Barca will recruit another player to fill the position, because as far as I know they still have targeted players, or they will maximize their players to fill the position left by Ferran.

It's not even because other clubs milked PSG in the past when they were building a team that will win the Champions League that made them to place high money on Barcola. What propelled PSG to value Bradley Barcola at €170 million is because of the amount Chelsea used to secure the signature of Morgan Rodgers, PSG stated that if Chelsea can buy Morgan Rodgers for £117 million they will sell Bradley Barcola more than that considering he's a better player than Morgan Rodgers. Players are now expensive in the transfer market right now, before you can buy an average player now you will need around £70-80 million to secure his signature. No one should blame PSG for valuing Bradley Barcola for €170, because clubs want to sell their players at high amount. It seems these pricing practices are turning football from a sport into something more. Therefore, as long as transfers continue at such high prices, we will see good players being sold for similar amounts. If you were to ask who the best players in world football history are, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi would be mentioned. Even they didn't command such high transfer fees. This current state of football has led to the disappearance of players who once played with the same passion and dedication. Now, every footballer plays only for money. Players like Maldini, Nedved, Gattuso, Baggio, Rooney, and Giggs are no longer in the world of football. I think this makes football less enjoyable, but teams have to adapt to today's conditions and have to pay such high prices. Bro we are on the same page on these, I've been asking myself sincerely, are some of this players worth this humongous amount of money that is being mentioned for transfer fee. In those days, before a player will worth 100 million, that player will strictly be exceptional, but today, you see less than average players costing hundreds of millions of euros. I've concluded that, some of this lasted football transfer fees, especially when the transfer window is open, is all money laundry going on under.

I really appreciate what ferran Torres has done for us in Barcelona, but if psg increase their offer from the rejected 40 million to around 55 to 60 million, I think Barcelona should seriously consider it. The club priority seems to be Alvarez and selling ferran could generate the funds needed to make that deal happen. But if it were up to me, I would still go for viktor gyokeres. I really like his style of play, movement and finishing. I think he would fit Hansi flick system perfectly and give us the kind of natural number 9 we have been missing. We really need a finisher even though I would be happy with Alvarez because he is a fantastic player, but gyokeres is my personal choice

Anything is possible because clubs no longer hesitate to pay exorbitant sums for players, which in itself is a suspicious move. Paying €100-150 million for players shouldn't be a burden for the teams. I think buying players at such high prices is unnecessary, but it seems like they've deliberately manipulated the market this way.

I think that’s where you guys needs to come to terms with something called the inflation, we only talk about Inflation only when we discuss investment but Inflation is in everything monetary. Yes I agree that the over pricing of players is really bad but if you look at things then it was less costly than now. If you look at even ticket prices now it is very high compared to then plus also the wages of the players were not like they were then, so we could say inflation is what is causing most of this. Recently I saw the Salah move to Trabzonspor and the club president stated and also thank the fans that the ticket sells already covers half of Salah wages and this is why football clubs of recent can afford to spend this amount of money, most of these players shirts sells too and sponsorship deals or image rights also generates more money for the club too

PSG might be able to get Ferran Torres because they can afford him, and the player has shown Interest to leave.
I'm still trying to understand the purpose of letting Ferran Torres leave despite not having a sure replacement at the moment. Julian Alverez would have been a perfect number 9, but that deal does not look like something that's happening anytime soon. And another surprising thing is, even if Barce ends up securing a number 9, are they not going to get a backup as well?, because as things stands, Lewandowski is not longer in the team, and they're planning on selling their backup to another club. I don't know about the possibility of getting Oshimen because clubs are always reluctant when it comes to releasing their biggest/best players. They can't afford to go into this season without securing a good striker.

I don't see 40 as enough to get Martinelli, like you talked about Gordon who joined Barcelona for 70m, that amount is ok for the kind of display we saw from him and even if Martinelli is the type that always throw away opportunities I still see him as a player to get for something close to 70m, like 60m is ok. The issue is not about selling but selling and replacing, this is the same thing that makes a club to go down and performing well is a problem, just like Dortmund. Arsenal should get someone better than the players they are selling to strengthen the squad depth.

Since Julián Álvarez is untouchable, Dušan Vlahović or Victor Osimhen will be good replacements for Ferran. Vlahović would be the perfect choice because he is cheaper and still effective. Sure he misses some chances, But again, have you really seen why? He gets into dangerous positions way more often than most forwards. He is always appearing in the box in places where the ball is going to get to him. Well, naturally, some do not go in. But look at it honestly, there was more that got in than there was supposed to be. Finishing was never his problem. The fans wanted him to be what he is not. A big target man standing there holding up play. That was Lewandowski's job and Lewandowski is literally in Chicago now. About Osimhen though, this one's not happening. He is locked in at Galatasaray on a permanent deal since last summer. They are rejecting everyone. And on top of that he had a nasty hamstring injury this past season. No longer a viable solution. And Alvarez, Atletico told Real Madrid no at €150M. What does Barcelona have to play here? People are sleeping on the Luis Enrique connection. He personally called Torres rather than some agent or agent meeting. The manager picked up the phone. That said it all, does not it?

Ferran Torres' contract expires next year, and Barcelona still have a huge debt, for sure they can't afford to let Ferran Torres walk free agent next year, they have to find a solution now. I don't think they can offer the same amount of money PSG are willing to offer, so I think they'll work out a deal with PSG. Luis Enrique wants the player, PSG are the best team in the world, and Barcelona can use part of the money to buy Rodri from City. It's a win-win situation for everyone.
If Luiz Enrique really wants him, that was just an opening bid--- €40m which is not enough to strike a permanent deal. Barca needs €55m at least. He's only 26 so there's a huge possibility that he would serve them their worth of money with a 4-year contract and he's not an injury-prone player. Meanwhile, Barca doesn't want to keep him in the club, maybe particularly because he missed the goal that should have given them a chance in the UCL against Atletico Madrid? I don't know... Infact, that would be too personal but the team lost interest in him from that moment onward. As I explained, Ferran Torres' contract expires next year, offering 40 millions for a player you can sign for free in a few months is already a good offer in my opinion. I don't know exactly what is going on between Torres and Barcelona but I guess he expects to be offered a certain salary (especially after scoring in the World Cup final) but probably Barcelona have different plans.

But it should be if Barcelona management is good at utilizing momentum then this offer they must accept quickly. Ferran Torres ' contract in Barcelona lives 1 more season in Barcelona and this must be a consideration because if they complicate the transfer with excessive drama just to get a bigger offer it is quite difficult and it could be that PSG does not continue the drama. This season it looks like Barcelona have more profit, they sold Araujo who in recent seasons may even be hated by some Barcelona fans themselves, they also got a pretty good offer for Ferran, he is still very decent but for the size of the finish he is still not very good so it should be for 40 million it is already a profit for Barcelona although maybe they want to cover the previous purchase because Ferran was brought from Mancehster City with 55 million + adds on. The problem that might have to be resolved quickly if Ferran were to leave is that they have to look for a fit targetman now, Julian is still possible with the rumours at hand but if a lot of his plays when the summer transfer window is about to close it will cost them their own.
