How will Barcelona manage their attacking position if this guy Ferran Torres finally joins the current CL champions? Since they don't have Lewandowski in the picture Ferran should be next in line to continue from where the Poland striker stopped, although Torres has been the man at the front before Lewandowski came but how would Barcelona manage if they lose Ferran too? What's their next option?

I’d be surprised if this transfer actually goes through. After all, Barcelona hasn’t signed a replacement for Lewandowski yet. Torres is currently Barcelona’s only striker. But if Barcelona sells Ferran Torres to PSG and doesn’t sign another striker, I can’t imagine how Barcelona will fare next season playing without a true striker. Barcelona’s goal-scoring output would certainly drop dramatically. Ideally, Barcelona should sign a new top-class striker to replace Lewandowski before selling Ferran Torres, if they’re truly forced to sell him.

Having offered himself to various clubs, mainly English ones and to no avail, Xavi tried something outside the league, namely the national team. Take advantage of the momentum with which the Dutch national team has always struggled and failed to go further. Indeed, Xavi ability when with Barcelona is not so impressive. Sometimes it can be the other way around, and he has enough time to build a squad for the next World Cup. Or do you have another solution that would be suitable for coaching the Dutch national team?

A risky choice, is not it? I meant Xavi has ever coached Barcelona, but he only has short experience as manager in the top club's level. So i guess it's too early for him for this because he's also lacking of experience in the coaching various clubs with different type of players.
If he ever coached various top clubs, then i can understand it if he moves up to coach national team. But i still think he still lacks of experience.

Agree. I also do not understand this appointment. As a coach, Xavi also tends to focus more on a zonal press out of possession. On the other hand, the Netherlands are more focused on Total Football, the concept of being aggressive in all phases of play.  In possession, they are fluid with massive rotations. So why this switch to something opposite? It’s very weird, at least to me, but I wish him the best. He’s going to need it.

Firstly, it's a pretty bold move by the Dutch Football Association - Wikipedia tells me this is the first non-native coach since 1977. I haven't seen the Netherlands as bad as Brazil to take such a radical step.
Secondly, I missed him, I missed those stories after games about how the ball is too round, the field is too rectangular and everything is wrong and that is why the game is not won  Xavi is incredibly good at telling stories. I have nothing against him personally, but I don't think he'll last until 2030, the European Championship will likely be the breaking point.

However, Simeone told him that this is not a decision he has the authority to make, everything needs to be discussed and decided with the club. Therefore, this conversation did not provide any clarity regarding a possible transfer of Álvarez to Barcelona.

However, one thing is clear, Atlético do not want to let the forward leave for Barcelona. Simeone also told Álvarez that he wants him to remain Atlético’s striker next season.

I think Chelsea are going to sign Zubimendi, considering that he has previously worked with Xabi Alonso at Real Sociedad, right now it’s looking more likely that Enzo Fernandez would be moving to Manchester City, so it’s all possible that Zubimendi leaves for Chelsea, Arsenal have already signed Bruno Guimaraes.

The Transfer Market is crazy now, when you see players like Elliott Anderson moving for Huge amount and Morgan Rodgers, Sandro Tonali, then you ask yourself why Arsenal wants to sell a Premier League Champion player 90m, to be frank that amount is cheap, he should be leaving for 100m, he just won the Premier League.

Elliott Anderson haven’t won the Premier League, Enzo Fernandez haven’t won the Premier League, Tonali haven’t won anything in his career, Zubimendi is worth more than 100m, Zubimendi just won the World Cup.

After all, Spence’s performance at Tottenham was just average. And Tottenham’s decision to sell Spence was certainly made with Roberto De Zerbi’s approval, as De Zerbi felt Spence didn’t fit the style of play he wanted to implement.

The reason is simple: Tijjani could prove himself to Man City that letting him go was a mistake by performing well with Nottingham. This could become a revenge moment once the EPL matches start.

Serves that traitor right to play in a minor league like the Turkish one, where top players go to secure the final contract of their careers.

I believe that Vlahovic has an ego that should be adjusted a little, if he doesn't want to end up badly as a player. Because if you already play in a top team like Juventus, and Juventus offers you their hand as long as you can lower your salary a little, knowing what you have done during the last few seasons, you should accept. As a Barcelona fan, I am already getting fed up.  If Atletico doesn't want to release him for us, then we should forget about it. Although there are no available quality strikers in the market currently, we can manage what we have at hands or find another low options Striker as support. Even Alvarez hasn't done much to force his exit, we saw what Alexander Isak did to Newcastle, where the frustrated the club by not attending the training, and public statements. I haven't seen Alvarez doing any of that. I will be fully satisfied if Barcelona can sign Rodri, Cancelo and a LCB, then find any Striker below €60M to sign.

As of now, it's been reported that Ferran Torres hasn't joined the Barcelona team for training, which means there's a strong possibility he'll be sold. I'm not surprised by this, as Barcelona's management needs fresh cash to recruit players. That could be a big reason for selling him to PSG, and the large transfer fee will undoubtedly be used to recruit a new striker for the Barcelona team.

I strongly believe in the steps taken by Barcelona's management and Hansi Flick. Whatever they do, their actions are certainly calculated.

I disagree with your opinion. Türkiye currently has enormous potential in football. The national team squad is very strong; they may not have been successful, but they have great potential. Football is the most popular sport in the country, and we're talking about a country with 80 million people. To be one of the best players in the league here is an indescribable achievement; millions will admire you, and you'll experience the best years of your career.

There are very strong teams and good players in this league, and I don't think it's right to speak negatively about the Turkish league. Playing in Saudi Arabia or America is not the same as playing in Türkiye. The quality of football in Türkiye is high, and many star footballers from around the world prefer to play here

I give a big round of applause for the Netherlands’ decision to appoint Xavi as head coach through 2030. As far as I can recall, this is the first time since 2012 that the Netherlands has been coached by someone from outside the country.
As for whether Xavi can bring something to the Dutch national team’s play, I think he can—and might even exceed their expectations. Why? Because, on average, the players on the Dutch squad are the type who can play at a fast pace and easily adapt to the tiki-taka strategy that Xavi will likely implement.

I would have said same thing that Barcelona would be without a natural striker, but Karim Adeyemi the new signing is viewed as one, same thing with Raphinha who can play that role also or a false nine like Gordon or Dani Olmo who both have excelled in the past at that position. But to be Frank I still think that Barcelona will most definitely make a push for a new striker if they can get Ferran Torres sold. If not for their current interest in Signing Rodri I would say I expect them to actually go back with an improve bid for Julian Alvarez but it seems that they are focus on Rodri more.

False 9 can work like the way PSG are currently playing with dembele upfront and seriously I trust Raphinha to excel there but the major problem would be playing pattern, would Hansi Flick starts playing to make it comfortable for a false 9.

Arne Slot was the first choice of the Royal Dutch Football Association. But he turned down the offer to replace Ronald Koeman. He said he prefers to engage in the day-to-day complex work of club management rather than to transition to national team management. The first report I heard was that he rejected the job because of financial disagreements, which he denied.

I had completely forgotten about Lewandowski, whose contract with Barcelona had indeed expired and who now plays for Chicago Fire FC. All this time, I’d imagined Barcelona would be just like last season, with Lewandowski still as the team’s striker. But well, Barcelona is actually in a situation where they urgently need to sign a player who can fill Lewandowski’s former role. Torres could certainly fill that role, but the problem is even if Torres doesn’t leave for another club,  what if Torres gets injured and can’t play for the entire season? That could become a critical problem for Barcelona. I haven’t looked into it yet, but Barcelona really needs to keep Torres and, at the same time, keep looking for another striker they can rely on. Oh, but isn’t there Gordon, who was just signed? Ah, but I heard he can’t be registered yet, right?  But he’s a winger.

The contract given to Xavi is long enough to handle the Dutch national team. He may not have experience in this, but he definitely knows what to do for the Dutch team. Ferran Torres is still at Barcelona right now, but I think PSG is very interested in signing him. I am surprised that Barcelona really want to sell him, because they don't have a replacement for him right now. Ferran Torres will be a good signing for PSG, because I think he is a decent striker and should do well at PSG. I believe that Barcelona will definitely sign a new striker that's why they are willing to let him go. We all know that they are very interested in signing Julian Alvarez,  but Atletico Madrid don't want to sell to them. Anyways the transfer window is still open and I believe they will sign a striker if they let Ferran Torres leave to PSG.
