Manchester City wouldn't bargain such a price because signing Enzo Fernandez for such amount will just trigger them to break one of the crucial rules in financial fair play. Chelsea is not desperate to sell him because they still have good use of Enzo Fernandez in the team.

That's right, the deadline for Enzo Fernandez has officially ended, without any request from any club. The price of 120 million pounds at the stake Chelsea no one dares to pay. In other words, if after the deadline there is a team interested in buying Enzo Fernandez, the price will be much more expensive, it can reach 140 million pounds.

The Rodri deal with Barcelona is close to completion as Barcelona is preparing to submit their third bid to Manchester City with a reported fee of almost 70 million euros and that is very close to what Manchester City are asking for, so the deal is expected to be completed.

I don't understand how anyone can publish "news" like "Barcelona confident of a deal this weekend." Remarkable last season although with a touch of Haram football played. Glad they was able to find a way to beat Manchester City to the Premier League Competition.
They did struggle though with game against them though especially during the finals they both played and the second leg of the Premier League  fixture. I don't see City winning but I see them sharing points to draw that game.

If they're hungry as they claim to be, they should beat Manchester City under Enzo Maresca. Mikel has done it countless times when Enzo Maresca was in charge of Chelsea.

There's news that Chelsea youngster Josh Acheampong has officially moved to Coventry City FC. It seems Frank Lampard is the mastermind behind this transfer. Acheampong is versatile. He can play as a right-back, but can also be used as a center-back. Josh Acheampong has a transfer value of €25 million. He wasn't bad at Chelsea either. He made 20 Premier League appearances and scored 1 goal. At just 20 years old, he's a long-term project for the club.

I think I get what you mean by Barcelona is taking a huge risk to sign Rodri for this kind of amount, I believe you are referring to his injury and age at the same time and I think that's even the main reason why Real madrid are not even interested in him despite how good he is at his position and Real Madrid needs a players of that calibre to fill in that spot on the team. I agree, it's a huge risk but then again, I believe it's what they want, probably they have done their homework and are willing to go ahead with it, Manchester City on the other hand wants more than what's on the table, I think they would rather sell him at their own price or he stays back and maybe they could convince him to sign a few years deal with them or something.

I believe the delay had something to do with Galatasaray shifting their focus towards Gabriel Martinelli, but he rejected their offer, so now they might go back for Leão.

Don't you guys get tired of this "Barcelona are broke" narrative? Have you guys purposely refused to look at things objectively? So because a club is negotiating to pay a lower amount for a player that is 30 and is in the last year of his contract, it means they are broke? You expect them to just pay any amount the player's club ask for? So if Barcelona were not broke, they would just bring out 80 million and buy Rodri without any negotiations?

The only risk of Rodri is long-term injury. If he stays fit, he would definitely be a perfect player for Barcelona. I believe he is worth the 70 million. Rodri is one of the best in his position, and in a team like Barcelona under the management of Hansi Flick, he is going to be an integral part of the team.

It's a sense idea. Sending him to Coverntry will help him to develop himself better with Lampard as his guidance. As long as it's not a permanent deal, it will be so good for him because i believe Lampard will guarantee him minutes in EPL. So one or two long season loan must be enough.
No need to sell him as a permanent tarnsfer when his contract is still lasting until 2029.

His chance to start may be getting lesser because Chelsea has lacroix comes as their new CB. So it's likely he's gonna warm bench and i support this transfer. But i strongly against the idea to sell him. He's diamond in the making.
Hope Chelsea consider this option for him.
