Man City finds itself in a situation similar to when Liverpool parted ways with Jurgen Klopp. I am confident that Enzo Maresca first season will go smoothly, given the high quality of Man City player management structure. Therefore, I remain confident that Man City can uphold the legacy Pep established in the Premier League next season. However, that does not mean Maresca can guarantee a first trophy, as Arsenal increasingly view Pep Guardiola departure from Manchester City as an opportunity.
If Arsenal only views Manchester City as worthy rivals this new season, then they're obviously wrong. Most clubs are cooking very well, in the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester United and others. They're reinforcing their teams and I sense lots of competition upfront. Personally, I don't see Arsenal being able to defend their trophy this season, they were only able to get it last year due to City having a bad start and the draw against Everton and loss to Bournemouth. Arsenal always have inconsistencies towards the end of the season, that's their major weak point, if they've not fixed that loophole, they may not really be able to defend the trophy this season.

Bought by PSG and then immediately loaned to Aston Villa, in order to get decent playing time. So now Emiliano Martinez position is starting to shift? I don't know much about Suzuki, other than seeing his performance at the World Cup. A good career improvement, Suzuki just needs to be patient because to take the main goalkeeper position of Emiliano is definitely not easy.

Manchester city and Liverpool case is not the same in my opinion. Of course, it's a norm to experience some set back after transition, sometimes it happen immediately and sometimes, it delays for a while. Liverpool transition did not show up immediately after their departure with Klopp. I won't be surprised if Maresca find it easy at Manchester city. He was part of the team for a long time before going to Chelsea. He spent enough time working with Pep and with the players to understand the tactical language. They will find it easy to blend together with just little adjustments. But regardless, I'm not considering them as the most favourite as usual.

I certainly don't get your point, so you were expecting Hansi Flick to drop Lewandowski on the bench in place of Ferran Torres?. This is one of the worst decision Ferran will take in his career. Enough of this talk of Ferran scoring the  World cup winning goal, he didn't even start the game. If he was so good, the manager would have started him in place of Oyarzabal. This is the same case in Barca, there are other experienced players ahead of him, so he is expected to be a sub.

This is the time I expected Ferran to prove himself in Barca, now that Lewi has gone, but he decided to sign for PSG to replace Dembele, Kvaratskelia or Doue, or who exactly??. I think he will still sit on the bench as usual. This is a bad choice for Ferran.

I don't know what Barca has in mind after selling Ferran, there is no trusted CF in the squad now, and Atletico has refused to sell Alvarez, but I think they might have a back up plan, maybe they will sign a better striker during the deadline if Atletico still persists in not selling Alvarez.

But Ferran Torres is not a formidable player. Let's say that the thing that makes him different is the fact that he always manages to find the right position at the right time, which is what has always allowed him to have an impact on even difficult matches, such as the World Cup final. Many times with Barcelona he always manages to find the position, but then he doesn't have the coolness to finish. And that's what never fully convinced the coach.

Arsenal now has the best chance in years to win the Premier League again. Following last year’s victory, they could become champions two years in a row.

All the other favorites have new coaches and the teams still need to adjust to their new tactics. Without Pep, the league will likely become a bit more competitive as well.

It should be without the presence of Guardiola Arsenal could be much better, because their main obstacle is Manchester City led by Guardiola, many teams are reshuffling in the Premier League, it becomes a very good if most of the teams that have changed his coaching board did not match their expectations, and here Arteta should be able to win the Premier League again.

But the second probability where someone succeeds in importing and becoming even crazier to compete in the top flight of the English Premier League, this variable cannot be avoided even though the probability is much lower.

Like his Leicester City Club is no longer profitable especially now in Division 3 (League One) there is a possibility that the club is not healthy operating costs and the opinion of the club is not balanced again then its Thai owner wants to sell it.

In the past, this team always scored great players, unfortunately they sold more because they saw profits over time the club became degenerate in its performance, imagine having won the Premier League 5000:1 and now having to be swayed.

The Middle Easterners might be the Saviors of this club.

I feel very sorry for Leicester City. Honestly, after winning the championship with coach Ranieri, i expected a longer stay in the Premier League.
After writing the story. Instead, increasingly greedy clubs, with an ever greater need for money, preferred to earn rather than see the team compete.

I can't believe Spurs is pricing Savinho like he's a great winger. 85 millions for him? Is spurs crazy? City signed him for 40 million, and it's more than double with this bid. I think City has to let him go, then they can sign someone else to be his replacement like Pedro Neto from Chelsea.
What a crazy move by Tottenham this time, making an 85 million euro offer for Savinho. It’s truly absurd that Tottenham would dare to offer such a high price for a player who performed poorly last season. It seems Manchester City won’t think twice about accepting this massive offer from Tottenham. It’s clearly a very profitable deal for Manchester City. With that kind of money, Manchester City could sign Pedro Neto or another top player.

I remember Maresca was Neto's fan when he was in Chelsea. So i think exchanging him to the Pedro Neto is obviously an upgrade. Savinho has always disappointed last season, and he always lost the ball with his poor dribble. I don't think keeping him far longer in the club is a good option when they can sell him for huge profit.

They have to sell Savinho to Spurs, then sign Pedro Neto from Chelsea. Is not it a smart business?
That's how crazy the market has been, Savinho was a better player in his previous club than what he is for Manchester City and his still priced at this ridiculous amount of money despite being dip in form. To me his performance for Manchester City has been below average compared to what he was before City bought him, I wonder how players are been diminished in performance yet their various clubs are still looking for a way to sell them at an amount that's ridiculous, this tells you how the market is currently, personally, I prefer back in days when business was based on the current value you you have. Most players that are signed now, frankly, they were not worth the amount of money spent on their signings.

I am really very surprised by the steps taken by Tottenham's management because I also think it is a crazy step and of course Manchester City will be very profitable but on the other hand I prefer to highlight Tottenham's management which I think is not working properly and if it is like that I really doubt they will develop the Tottenham team to be better this season and it is even possible that what happened last season they will experience again, namely struggling at the bottom of the standings.

Zion Suzuki is a good goalkeeper every time I watch the Japanese national team play, as he's in goal. His posture and stature are very promising, bringing peace of mind to fans. Zion Suzuki is currently very young at 23, giving him a great career opportunity to play in a highly competitive league like the English Premier League. Im confident he'll be able to break through the competition to become Aston Villa first choice goalkeeper, given that Martinez is currently experiencing a decline in performance due to age. I think he a better fit than Emiliano Martinez to guard the Aston Villa goal this season.

Manchester City don't want to be fooled anymore and will strive to make more profit so 72 million-80 million will remain the standard for Rodri but Barcelona are still sticking with their 55 million.

Barcelona always do things that for me are quite clever when negotiating with Manchester City but the mistake of Ferran Torres should have hurt Manchester City because they did not get anything from the bonus because Barcelona were quite clever by selling Ferran to PSG with 50 million so Manchester City want revenge to get a bigger profit in the transfer this time.

Now it should be back to business mentality and strategy with Rodri's contract now at Manchester City and the rest of the summer transfer window just waiting for the drama to settle in the last few weeks before the market closes.
Clever? Barcelona are just broke. They are on a tight budget, but if they had the money, they would have paid the 80M by now. Lucky for them, Real Madrid pulled out of the race so they have all the time to try and negotiate with Manchester City.

I also still think Barcelona is taking a very huge risk to sign Rodri for a fee of anywhere about 70M. It might turn out to be a not-so-good deal in the long run
I said they were smart when they took PSG into the vortex with Manchester City in the transfer of Ferran Torres. They know if they insist on raising Ferran's offer by more than 55 million then they have to pay Manchester City for Ferran's sale bonus so they sell this player for 50 million (plus adds on) which makes them not have to pay more for the bonus to Manchester City.

I know they are still struggling in financial terms but with some of the players they have sold at least this still covers the budget a little bit even though they are still minus for the transfer this time.

Barcelona Transfer record This Season

But that doesn't make them stop either because for now their targets for targetman and Rodri are still not stopping.

They write that City rejected Barcelona's third offer  Grin City are insisting on a sum of around 80 million, and Barcelona are offering something like 70, but taking into account bonuses, etc., i.e. not the whole sum at once.
So the transfer chances have dropped back to around 80% and my bet is in the black again, but I won't close it. I'll wait until it's resolved. Knowing Barcelona's clownish nature, I believe the risk/reward is balanced here, and even if the transfer goes through, it will be good news for Real Madrid fans.
That's a good bet and I'm also in the same bet for the prediction market although maybe this just comes from a decision based on the favorite club but still I'm still not sure Barcelona can sign Rodri Cheesy.

Manchester City are always fooled by Barcelona in terms of transfers so they should not be stuck with the same conditions every transfer player.
Now 80 million will still be a price considered appropriate for Manchester City for Rodri despite his considerable age and the fact that his contract does not have much left.

Likely to happen.
1. There will be more manufer from Barcelona with increasing clauses.
2. Barcelona will let this end in the summer transfer window and will try to catch up again in the winter transfer window in the hope that Rodri does not renew the contract.
3. There are other clubs that will make this drama interesting. Madrid, who were previously strong candidates at this time, are still not moving and there could be a new clause given by Perez.

I don't know much about Suzuki, other than seeing his performance at the World Cup. A good career improvement, Suzuki just needs to be patient because to take the main goalkeeper position of Emiliano is definitely not easy.

He wasn’t bought by PSG, yes the deal was almost done with PSG as fee was agreed around the region of €35m but the deal collapsed based on the player not reaching full agreement on the terms which according to many reports as starting position. Aston Villa simply went in and match the offer as PSG with player’s term also agreed and he is almsot fully an Aston Villa, so it’s not a loan move from PSG.

As for knowing Suzuki I actually get to know him when he was been scouted by Manchester United when they were looking for Onana replacement, i think from one Belgian or Japanese club before the player rejected the move because of no guaranteed playing time and signed for Parma instead. He has established himself as one of the prospect in the goalkeeping department for such a young age.

I think he will go into the team with Emiliano Martinez already declaring that he will be looking to actually go elsewhere for competition. Juventus had earlier one shown interest in Martinez and also showed same interest in getting Suzuki too on loan, I actually expect them to come back for Martinez again if Aston Villa confirms Suzuki as their player

Actually I read that PSG withdrew their contract proposal because Suzuki's agents were asking for a very high commission. So Aston Villa jumped in and bought the player, this is not a loan and PSG have nothing to do with this. Now I'm curious to see what is going to happen with Martinez, because if Villa spent 40 millions for a goalkeeper I don't think he's going to sit on the bench...

The roles of Gordon and Adeyemi should not be used as a comparison for Ferran and Lewa for now because after all their positions and roles on the field will be slightly different although both are said to be attacking players but the position will still be different.

Flick very rarely plays without a pure striker (CF) in the squad and when imposing this for the current season then it could be a little dangerous for Barcelona because even though they have good attacking power with their tiki taka style but when finishing poorly because there is no targetman there it could interfere with them in terms of goal productivity.

So I think it would be better for Barcelona to now focus on finding a new alternative to the US number 9 striker who is suitable as a replacement for Lewandowski as well as their foundation in attack next season.
Well, obviously they’re in different situations. Hansi Flick really needs to start looking for a striker who can truly fill the void left by Lewandowski. And it seems Torres has now officially left, after PSG made a final offer and Barcelona accepted it.

However, I think there’s one forward who’s currently rumored to be a target for Barcelona. His name is João Pedro, and I think he’d be a great fit for Barcelona’s style of play. Although I’m not sure yet whether Barcelona will actually sign him or not.

However, based on information I’ve read, Chelsea has no intention of letting him go. Another interesting point is that Barcelona is also targeting Alvarez. But ironically, Atlético Madrid also has no intention of letting him go. So, essentially, neither of the two strikers Barcelona is targeting will be released by their respective teams.
AFAIK Joao Pedro is busy at the moment at the insistence of the Fans but at the moment the door of negotiations has been closed since the beginning because Chelsea have said clearly that they will not sell Joao Pedro and do not accept any negotiations regarding this player.

In addition, at the moment they are still bothered by Rodri's drama, which is still not over and may not be over if one of the clubs (Barcelona and Manchester City) does not make concessions in these negotiations.

View from Barcelona squad now they are still likely to give Roony Bardghji more flying hours by making some rotations against Adeyemi who although his ideal position is at winger or attacking midfielder but he can also still be forced as a targetman.

I can't believe Spurs is pricing Savinho like he's a great winger. 85 millions for him? Is spurs crazy? City signed him for 40 million, and it's more than double with this bid.
I'm seeing mixed reports on whether there's a release clause in his current contract or not... If there aren't any, it makes sense why Man City has slapped that kind of price tag on him since he's under contract until June of 2031 and Man City will be strengthening a club from the same league... In addition, Tottenham is desperate to improve its squad, so it has no choice but to pay that ridiculous price.

When Liverpool lost Klopp and replaced him with Arne Slot, Slot essentially continued the foundation that Klopp had built. Although there were some changes to the squad during Slot’s tenure, it wasn’t a major transition. So it was understandable that Slot didn’t experience any decline at the beginning of the season, but after more significant changes took place, the decline only came later.

Meanwhile, what happened at Man City was different. When Maresca first joined City, a major transition took place, with several key players leaving and being replaced by new players. Although he had previously been at City as an assistant coach, the situation was already different, especially in terms of the squad. So the difference was quite noticeable.

Emiliano Martinez is still Aston Villa's main goalkeeper and the main point of trust. Zion Suzuki is a young promising player who plays as the main goalkeeper for the Japanese national team. I actually saw him for the first time under the Japanese goal in the last World Cup, his performance against Brazil was also great. But unfortunately they lost in the last minute of the match and had to leave the World Cup.

He is talented, but lacks experience. Perhaps Zion Suzuki was brought into the team to take the pressure off Emiliano Martinez. Even Martinez's performance will continue to deteriorate as he ages, and the main thing is that Aston Villa needs to have a worthy replacement for Martinez, Zion Suzuki has that talent.

You said Maresca Wil find it easy and they just loss community shield to Arsenal. This is an opening game for God sake, not the kind of game one will consider as friendly and to my surprise this team had good friendly match performance than Arsenal but it seems Arsenal are there as business while Manchester City were there with different intentions and of course, it didn't end well and I'm sure as we go into the season, more disappointment will come.

Let it be known that Arsenal are going to win the league this season, whether you look for a team that will win them or not, clearly Maresca is trying to introduce a new pattern of style to the team and with what they played today, the team still has Guardiola style on their legs. It will take time before they adapt if they don't see the mistake early and by then, Arteta will be far gone with winning. If they later signed Osimehn to the club, then it's over for them.

What are you writing?
His move to PSG didn't even happen,  so I don't even know what you mean by being loaned back to Aston Villa. Aston Villa are establishing talks with his agent though so as to see him signed up with Dibu Martinez linked with a possible move put to Juventus this coming weeks ahead. Suzuki was also scouted one time by Manchester United but nothing happened. I also saw him during the FIFA World Cup Competition with Japanese national team, he was good and has great fingers. I'm not even worried about him settling down, he will be a success for Aston Villa.
Not to forget, Aston Villa are also linked with a move for Aaron Wan Bisakka from West ham United. The news seems to have some validity.
