He is talented, but lacks experience. Perhaps Zion Suzuki was brought into the team to take the pressure off Emiliano Martinez. Even Martinez's performance will continue to deteriorate as he ages, and the main thing is that Aston Villa needs to have a worthy replacement for Martinez, Zion Suzuki has that talent.
The latest news I read is that PSG is interested in Zion Suzuki, but it seems they failed to reach an agreement. I think Zion Suzuki's performance is good enough to be Aston Villa's main goalkeeper, and they don't need to hesitate if they want to let Martinez go. There was also a rumor that Juventus is interested in him and is waiting for confirmation from Aston Villa.

Having become the savior of Spain at the World Cup, Ferran changed drastically and considered himself better. The arrogance he displayed seemed excessive and Barcelona are clearly not a team that likes to spoil its players. The decision to sell Ferran was very correct, Barcelona still has a reliable player and loyal to the interests of the club. On the other hand, however Ferran is fortunate to be joining PSG a team more capable of winning the UCL trophy next season than Barcelona. Let’s not forget the story of Dembélé move from Barcelona to PSG a transfer that ultimately saw him shine brighter than any of Barcelona current players.
You're right, and that analogy with Dembélé was incredible. The thing is, Ferran had some good moments for Spain, which raised expectations around him. It's also clear that Luis Enrique wants only top-quality players, and I'm sure he'll use Ferran much more than he did at Barcelona. Barcelona's problem is that they want to give Lamine and Raphinha more prominence. It's not bad, but they might face similar rotation challenges as Real Madrid, who apparently will loan out Endrick again to get him more minutes. This current transfer window will undoubtedly shape the future of La Liga, which will surely be dominated once again by Real Madrid and Barcelona.

So people keep on saying yan Diomande could be one of the biggest scams in this recent transfers, and I personally I'm not really sure about that, he seems like a great player to me though, I didn't get to watch some of his full matches, but his highlights I got to watch was actually kind of pleasing and it shows a player with a lot of potentials. I think it's worth the price, I hope he doesn't mess up tho. Meanwhile I do not agree with that guys age They keep on saying he is 19, and I do not agree about that he looks whey older than 19 to me, what do you guys think concerning this player?

Bought by PSG and then immediately loaned to Aston Villa, in order to get decent playing time. So now Emiliano Martinez position is starting to shift? I don't know much about Suzuki, other than seeing his performance at the World Cup. A good career improvement, Suzuki just needs to be patient because to take the main goalkeeper position of Emiliano is definitely not easy.
Sorry for the young lad, but he won't be getting his best playing time ahead of Martinez, although Emery might decide to start him for minor domestic league competitions if it hasn't gotten tougher. Martinez is a top world class goal keeper, every other goal keeper joining the club is no other than a second option. I hope Suzuki learns from being a substitute, builds his confidence, and gets prepared for whenever he will be called upon. Aston Villa are playing in five competitions, Martinez might need some days to rest, especially for Champions League matches.

Suzuki also had matches where he was a substitute during his time at Parma. He and Corvi took turns in goal together at Parma. I don't think he's the kind of goalkeeper who would mind being a substitute, whether at Paris Saint-Germain or Aston Villa. Besides, I watched a few of his matches and liked him. The Japanese player is 23 years old and a transfer for the future. I hope his team can benefit from him as much as possible.

Emiliano Martinez has not been performing well for Aston Villa, he is a lucky goalkeeper that won trophies including the World Cup, but his individual performance is far below world class goalkeepers and that was why Aston Villa was looking for replacement. They are yet to get a good offer from any team to sign Emiliano Martinez because they are willing to let him go because he is not good enough anymore, and age is not by his side again. Suzuki can be a good replacement, but PSG only sent him there for playing time and maybe premier league experience, once he has gotten enough experience and proved himself worthy, they will call him back to take his place.

In Italy, we had the chance to see him play and I must say he proved to be an excellent goalkeeper; unfortunately, he was playing for a team at the bottom of the table, Parma. If he’d played for a team with greater ambitions, I’m sure he could have demonstrated his worth even more. PSG had the foresight to act in this case and snapped him up straight away

BOOM!!! The long awaited signing of the balloon d'or winner, world cup winner and one of the best Midfielder In the world is all done, signed and seal.
Rodri to Barcelona is a done deal and the player is expected to be in Spain for his medicals in the coming week.
Rodri to Barcelona is one of the best signings in the transfer market this season, as the player is said to be one of Barcelona and Hansi Flick's priority to strengthen the Barcelona midfield and squad.
The deal, negotiation and signing of the Spanish Midfielder took a while but was very certain it will be done, because the player only wants the Blaugrana to be his next destination. Welcome home star player.

Barcelona have already managed to sign Rodri but we have been hearing speculation for some time that Manchester City might not let the player go but it is clear that Barcelona are determined to bring the Ballon d'Or winner for Spain and the 2026 FIFA World Cup winner to their team. At the moment we can see that Rodri is going to join the Barcelona club for four years next week as both Rodri and Joao Cancelo will go to Barcelona for a medical so it is safe to say Barcelona Football Club's midfield will be the most trained and they will be ahead of Real Madrid in this department. The Spanish club made a third offer to buy the player and they wanted to move Rodri to the team with 70 million euros I think Manchester City agreed to that offer and gave the player the opportunity to play for Barca. Rodri will sign a four year contract at Barcelona this upcoming week — it will be valid until June 2030. Barça have started planning travel and medical for both Rodri and João Cancelo.

I was also here to share this exact news but since you did already, it makes perfect sense. With Rodri officially a Barcelona player now, they're now the third second club with high chances of winning the Champions League competition next season after PSG. This is my ranking below; PSG Barcelona Arsenal Real Madrid. These are my four best and favourite clubs with high chances of emerging Champions next season. Congratulations to Barcelona, they will play one of the finest football since the exit of Xavi, Ineasta and Sergio Busquet.

What's surprising me now is the fact that so many people actually wrote off Barcelona stating that they are financially in shambles but so far they have been active on new signings and most of the players signed are quite expensive too, and now they have come to finish up another big deal, signing of the signing of Manchester City midfield maestro, who everyone thought was linked with Real Madrid.

If Arsenal only views Manchester City as worthy rivals this new season, then they're obviously wrong. Most clubs are cooking very well, in the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester United and others. They're reinforcing their teams and I sense lots of competition upfront. Personally, I don't see Arsenal being able to defend their trophy this season, they were only able to get it last year due to City having a bad start and the draw against Everton and loss to Bournemouth. Arsenal always have inconsistencies towards the end of the season, that's their major weak point, if they've not fixed that loophole, they may not really be able to defend the trophy this season.
I'm sure you must have seen Arsenal scoreline against Manchester City today. It is to show that Manchester City is not even a strong rival against Arsenal anymore. The other teams you mentioned are not even up to the capacity of Arsenal so it will be appropriate to say that Arsenal has not rivals in the EPL this season. What I'm saying might sound somehow but after the early stages of the season it will begin to make sense. What are you writing? His move to PSG didn't even happen, so I don't even know what you mean by being loaned back to Aston Villa. Aston Villa are establishing talks with his agent though so as to see him signed up with Dibu Martinez linked with a possible move put to Juventus this coming weeks ahead. Suzuki was also scouted one time by Manchester United but nothing happened. I also saw him during the FIFA World Cup Competition with Japanese national team, he was good and has great fingers. I'm not even worried about him settling down, he will be a success for Aston Villa. Not to forget, Aston Villa are also linked with a move for Aaron Wan Bisakka from West ham United. The news seems to have some validity. I'm also surprised with the "bought by PSG" statement by @MArsland because the deal collapsed after his representative demanded an extra commission, it was then that Aston Villa picked interest to sign him which pave way for Emiliano Martínez to open talks with Juventus. For Aaron Wan Bisakka, talks are still ongoing between Westham and Aston Villa to finalise his contract as Unai Emery is looking forward to enhance the team's cohesion.

Barcelona's financial troubles are not an opinion, they are a fact. Just because they chose to spend money anyway (I always wonder how the financial fair play works only for some teams but not for others...) doesn't mean they fixed their troubles. They already sold the rights for everything they own to come up with some money during these years, their financial situation improved but it's still a disaster.

But how much will the transfer fee be? Because Barcelona seems to underpriced Rodri, but now that the agreement with player is done , I believe the club to club agreement between Barcelona and Manchester City will soon be over since the player have decided where he wants to be, Manchester City can’t keep him when he wants to play for another team. I wish Rodri all the best if the deal is finally completed, and I hope his injury comes to an end because he has suffered injuries in the past two seasons, but if he joins the Laliga, he will hardly face the tough challenges he used to face in the premier league.

So because Rodri has officially joined Barcelona makes them to have high chances of winning the Champions League? Are you having a conviction that Rodri will change the face of the Champions League for Barcelona after his arrival? Maybe you've forgotten that he is coming from a big team also, what impact did he made in the Champions League for Manchester City such that we can anticipate him to replicate it for Barcelona. You have your opinion though but Barcelona is unlikely to win the Champions League because PSG and Arsenal have the highest chances while Real Madrid is included because everyone is expecting Jose Mourinho to come with professional coaching skills that will set the team in high esteem.

You're wrong if you think Barcelona's financial situation is still a disaster. They are not out of the woods yet, but they are no longer in a disaster. They are no longer operating under the 1:4 La Liga rule where they can only spend 1/4 of their revenue. Now they are operating under the 1:1 rule. They have taken huge salaries like Lewandowski out of their payroll, and since their salary cap has been increased by La Liga, they can register more players. Barcelona is the team that generated the most revenue after Madrid, so they have money, but they used to be restricted by La Liga on how to spend that money; now the restrictions are no longer tight because they are beginning to get their finances in order. And no need to exaggerate it that Barcelona has sold the rights to everything they own. It's just a small percentage of few thinsg like 10% of TV rights, 25% of Barca studios and things like that. Despite that, they still generated more income than all teh clubs in Europe except Madrid. Most people don't even bother to actually read up on the financial situation of Barcelona, they just stick to what they heard in 2023 and believed nothing has changed. People just look at the debt and believe that Barcelona's financial situation is still a total mess, but they don't realise that most of those debts are long term debts that every club has. Clubs like Man United and Madrid most likely have more debt or teh same range of debt as Barcelona. So because Rodri has officially joined Barcelona makes them to have high chances of winning the Champions League?
I think Barcelona still needs to sign a quality striker before I can consider them for the Champions League, but surely you must agree that Rodri is a level raiser to any club he goes to. Barcelona were already among the teams to win the Champions League before Rodri. You can't say Barcelona was not among the top 5 or top 6 teams to win the champions league. Adding Rodri to that team who is one of the best players in the world woud certainly increase their chances. If they don't get a quality striker, I don't see them winning the champions league though.

The way some people makes judgment about players makes you one to ask if they just support teams and players because it's their favorite or it's for the game. How much impact did Rodri made to Manchester United before his exit. I remember clearly he went to injury immediately he won the Balon D'or, the world cup performance without a goal but the media have this way they make a player relevant even though he has nothing to offer in their next club. Barcelona has Rodri now but it does not change the way Real Madrid are positioned. I have seen how this season is going to end for Barcelona but I'm not going to spill the tea yet but it's going to he ugly for them. They are not going to win the Laliga, they are not going to win the Champions League and they are not going to win super cup, these 3 belongs to Real Madrid, until then we will see who win.

Clubs like Man United and Madrid most likely have more debt or teh same range of debt as Barcelona. Barcelona currently have an approximately gross debt load of over 1,4 billion euros. Does it look like a healthy financial situation to you? They didn't fix the current situation offloading the big contracts, such as Lewandowski's, but because they sold slices of future TV rights, licensing, and even club assets. So, yes, for the moment they improved the situation but what is going to happen in the future is still very unclear.

Seriously I would say that this Rodri signing will definitely add more than just depth to this Barcelona period but also it will add a very good experience to the team. Since the departure of Lewandowski I think only Szczesny actually is having the experience to lead in the team and right now with Rodri they have an experienced player in the field of play and I would say your predictions are much much most likely. But personally regardless of anything that happens I will always have the likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid ij the champions league in higher favourite ranking than Barcelona and this is basically because of past few years history and then Arsenal is also on par with Barcelona. But this season they seriously stand a chance than the previous seasons but the three problem that Barcelona needs to still address is the addition of a center back, center forward (natural striker) and a proper right back too

Martinez will remain Aston Villa's first-choice goalkeeper, while Suzuki may be developed by Aston Villa to become their second-choice goalkeeper.. so, it is likely that Suzuki will remain in his role as a goalkeeper who is mostly used for rotation, like at his previous club.. and I think that Suzuki will be able to develop better in a league as competitive as the Premier League, because it is possible that he will be played in several matches by Emery, and that will be able to train him to be even better.
