From this I think it is clear that Arsenal's position cannot be shifted. But that does not mean next season they can easily secure the trophy, considering the EPL giants can always put pressure on Arsenal amid inconsistency though.
Arsenal currently has a very good team and is the defending champion. Arteta surely has many players who make a difference and already has a defined style of play. He will undoubtedly work on the mistakes he made last season and in the Champions League. I'm sure the defensive system will be one of his greatest strengths, although Arteta must have understood that modern football is entirely focused on attack.

On the other hand, I also want to highlight Carrick's good performance. I have high hopes for Manchester United this season. The way Carrick has worked with his team is impressive; we could see many surprises.

How did Manchester City convince Tottenham to sign Savinho for £75m? This is the biggest transfer scam I have seen.

Tottehanm is also planning a deal for Omar Marmoush.

De Zerbi, what are you cooking  Smiley Smiley

I dont know how Tottehem Hotspur does it but they're getting away with this enormous amounts spent in the transfer window. If I'm not mistaken, they've brought in more than 5 new players and they're still active in the transfer market. Tottehem Hotspur have become one of the prestigious team to compete for the league title next season. On the other hand, when we're curious why Spurs are spending recklessly, we should also remember how they almost go relegated last season and this was a hugh blow on them and the only way to reciprocate is simply releasing money to sign players, players that will elevate the club back to its form.

Roberto de Zerbi is cooking something at Spurs and we're yet to know what it is. The coach is somebody to trust because he was the one that saved Tottehem Hotspur from drowning last season after the owners sign and sack managers because they were not competent enough to carry our their managerial role, Roberto de Zerbi was the savior who was promised to lift the team back to their feet.

Tottenham continue to break the transfer structure first Mateus Fernandez and now Savinho, what ate they trying to build is a good question.

Maybe this is one of the major way they can get the players they wan without suffering from competitors like last season. Come to think of it most of the players moving to Spurs are being gotten with a level of big money.

I'm really curious to see how well they can perform this season, will they be among league contenders after all of these signings?

I don’t know where Tottenham have found all that money, but it’s clear they’re spending huge sums despite their league position. Savinho for 100 million is a rip-off; I don’t know why they’ve valued a player so highly when he hasn’t achieved much yet. I remember Vinícius Júnior was valued at around 150 million, just to highlight the difference. Now, if they sign Marmush as well, I can’t help thinking they’re going all-in to secure a place in next season’s Champions League, but if they fail, it’ll be a bloodbath.

Manchester City are not ready to win the Premier League, selling Savinho who is in current form throughout the preseason games, I can't believe Maresca was okay letting the player leave. Another advantage for Arsenal to win the League, selling Marmoush automatically makes it worse.

Tottenham will definitely be relevant for the title race, De Zerbi is gathering a Champions League squad, top four PL finish this season.

Yesterday we saw a "Here we go" for Savinho and we might be seeing another for the Egyptian Marmoush. Is it me or are Manchester City players with less time to spend with the club looking for a way to move out immediately?

Yes, you're right. Well, what I've seen Flick do is a very attack-oriented style of play. Barcelona's defense is weak for that reason, since they play the offside trap.

As long as a team attacks and attacks, there will come a point where the other team tires of defending or opens up a gap and makes a mistake. That's where Barcelona, with five attacking players, has a high probability of scoring.

In the interview Josep Pedrerol and Mourinho did for El Chiringuito, I really liked the way he talked about the team. He also touched on the subject of Rodri, who, according to him, spoke with Mourinho several times.

Supposedly, Rodri wanted to go, but he had many doubts, and that created doubts in Mourinho, so he said it was better that way, that he didn't come, because if Real Madrid calls you, the answer should be: "When do you need me there?" This makes you think that Real Madrid is coming in strong this time.

What Flick did with Barcelona is something incredible because he managed to combine two things that work very well in football: the typical Spanish style of play, a lot of tiki-taka, one-twos and disorientating ball possession, with the offensive part that he also gave to Bayern Munich.
This made the team very good at controlling the ball but also very good at moving towards the goal to score.

These rumors are not true, during transfer period I hardly give listening ears to rumors instead I would rather wait and see it happen before making conclusion. Same happened with Mbappe last time and now Vini, the primary purpose of signing a player means the player has the quality it takes matching the team strategy, Arsenal is focusing more on defensive strategy though I'm not surprised not after the team played half of their games using the defense system.

Arsenal are focusing more on the defensive phase because they have lost key players in the defensive department. Consequently, he must be able to prepare himself for starting a season with such a significant handicap.
He will certainly still have to complete a few shots to be able to have the serenity of starting the championship in the best possible way.

Paying £75m for someone who rarely scored, can't shoot and often lost the ball when he's dribble is absolutely amazing. Spurs is not only get scammed, but this is also showing how they still wanna compete for the relegation zone.

Apart from that the next deal of Marmoush will also be sealed around £50m. So City is still sitting at the pretty positive ROI.

Honestly, those transfers make Zerby sound very foolish coach.

City bought Anderson and Bouhaddi - that's already more than 200 million in total, plus they are preparing the transfer of Fernandes from Chelsea, which will also be a new record - the transfer amount will be 150-160 million lol. City have sales, Savinho, Rodri, but the fact remains that this club is trying to flood everything with money and buy the title once again. It's quite funny that neither UEFA nor the League with their FFP rules were able to change literally anything. Even for old violations that were identified and documented, City has not been punished in any way.
I aware about that. Pep's departure forced them to rebuild the team like what Maresca wanted. So they sold pep's legacy to be replaced with new players demanded by Maresca. However, i do agree it's kinda strange they splash so much money like nothing will happen to them.

However, i saw Arsenal chief has asked EPL regarding the charge, but EPL ceo has answered "the case is now in the hand of independent commission, and they can do nothing other than waiting". So we can do nothing other than waiting for the result. But it feels like their 130 charges will be cleared consider how long the process compared to the Chelsea.

If Manchester City wasn't punished after 113 count charges, I wonder what they will do to get punished. Personally, I think Manchester City can go all the way of overhauling its entire team and buying new ones and still nothing will happen to them. I'm wondering if it's another team in the league that has this 113 charges, by now they would have been fined, transfer ban and even point deductions but here's Manchester City walking freely for year. I will no longer be surprised if Manchester City keeps on doing what they have been doing and getting away from it.

Apparently Man United is very serious about buying Edmond Tapsoba. He is a Leverkusen player and is also being chased by Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United. Rumor has it that Leverkusen is asking for a price of €50 million for Tapsoba. At 27 years old and with that kind of performance, this value is quite in line with his quality. Tapsoba's arrival could be an alternative option since Man United will be very busy in competitions in the EPL or Europe.

You may be the one seeing it in this direction that the players they are biding phone doesn't worth the amount being considered on them, but I will always say something in this manner, everything has their own strategy for selection and why they are also going to ensure the acquire their targeted player regardless of the cost, at least they will want to have a new change on their previous performance this new season and that is why they must set in place all the necessary areas they need to fix.

It is understandable because he was not the coach who brought Savinho to Manchester City, and if such a player wants to leave because the coach who brought him has left, it is good to let him go so that you can have players who are loyal to you and not loyal to the coach who is no longer on the team.

Maresca has the intention to win the league, as every coach would; it just looks obvious that Manchester City are going to struggle. To what extent is what we will find out.

We had the advantage to win the Premier League again from the moment Pep decided he was leaving Manchester City. Our rivals are going to be either Manchester United or Chelsea, not Manchester City.

Maybe this is one of the major way they can get the players they wan without suffering from competitors like last season. Come to think of it most of the players moving to Spurs are being gotten with a level of big money.

I'm really curious to see how well they can perform this season, will they be among league contenders after all of these signings?
Tottenham is just being lavish in their transfer spending because some of these players do not worth those amount they were signed into the team. Tottenham is acting as if there are limited players in the transfer market and it's not even as if they are signing world class players. Tottenham is spending money on wrong players who i think they can't really make much impact in the squad.
Just because Tottenham has been busy in the transfer market doesn't mean they can contend the title. Before they will think of being a title contender they will first of all, finish within the European qualification positions because for over 2 seasons they have been nowhere near the top 4 as they mostly finish within 16th and 17th position.

I don't know what you mean by Pep's legacy, but just in case, I'll clarify that he left Maresca a club that hadn't been in the title race for two seasons and was accustomed to annual humiliations at the hands of Real Madrid in the Champions League. And I'll remind you that it was Pep who failed the generational change at City. When the KDB generation gradually began to fade away, he didn't stop and spent 200 million per transfer window, but he couldn't return City to its former heights. I wrote about this a long time ago - essentially, Pep is a technical figure, City operates according to the same patterns with or without him.

In recent years Galatasaray has chosen to wait for bargain transfers and has signed good players this way. However this is a very risky approach. Not only do you end up being late to the transfer market, but you may also be forced to sign a player you don't want if the expected opportunity doesn't arise. Or the worse is, you end up with a weakness in that position by failing to make any signing.

They've fallen far behind in the transfer market this year as well. It seems they're waiting for a bargain transfer again. Looking at the names being discussed, the transfer buzz is extremely high. Sarr, Leao, Ezzalzouli, they're all very expensive players. Even Demirovic is in that category. Since Galatasaray hasn't spent much money yet, they could make a major signing, but if it's not the right player, the management will face serious backlash. The fans can't wait any longer, they see the team's weaknesses. The management's slow pace could put them in a difficult position when the window closes.

Galatasaray didn't get off to the best start. This is because she underestimated her opponent.
I think that Galatasaray have had time over the years to build a very capable team, but not yet complete.
And i  think she still has some missing pieces that don't allow her to progress as she would like in the Champions League. As far as the championship is concerned, this year they will struggle even more having made little move on the market compared to teams like Fenerbahce and Besiktas.

I think you are wrong on this, Manchester city did not have bad season last summer because the reason is that Arsenal has already promised that they would let go of the trophy last season , Manchester city have oppressed arsenal for too long I believe it Arsenal era so if you said that Manchester city had a bad  time last summer you are wrong of you saying that Mikael artate have already build arsenal so they played like brothers they really deceived some credit. If Enzo mascara continue like this  I think arsenal we still carry the premier league back to back.

Manchester City isn't that they had a bad season and that they didn't do what they were supposed to. Arsenal were superior and are there.

Arsenal haven't won the title for a long time and they deserved it, they have a good team. But now comes the difficult part, they have to reconfirm themselves. Manchester City will try to give Arsenal a hard time, Enzo Maresca is a good manager but he still has a lot to prove.

Another disappointment for sure. He should have stayed for another season to challenge himself. He only needs to work in his physicality to be able to compete in EPL. Sadly, his first season in City didn't work out. However, the decision to go to the Saudi team is unbelievable for sure consider he can still competitive enough to keep play in europe. So he's now doing career suicide by following Darwin Nunez's path.

However, i also read they're also gonna release Nico after him. So, City's depth in the midfield is obviously gone. But it seems City is trying to free splace to sign Enzo from Chelsea. This is why they're releasing more and more their midfielders.
It feels like City plays FM. I wonder whether it's working to keep them in the top 4 this season.

I think this is a bit of Maresca's scapegoat. Unfortunately i think Manchester City won't start very well this year because they literally lost their entire midfield, which was the thing that set them apart from other teams. No longer having the midfield, City finds themselves a bit at sea and this will give them the opportunity to criticize Maresca and i don't think that's fair. Unfortunately City have lost that thing that made them dangerous.

I think he is an EPL tested player so going to the championship is not suppose to be and I like how he made a move to join Aston Villa, Wan Bissaka is a good talent but playing for West Ham that never had a way of staying at the EPL isn't cool at all. Since he started playing for West Ham he has improved more than what we saw him play at Manchester United, Emery is another manager that knows what he wants but the problem is that Aston Villa are always showing up at the beginning of the season and when it matters they'd start dropping off. I hope this new campaign we'd see something different just like we saw them play against PSG, that performance was the best.

At West Ham, ownership has always guaranteed him a much larger playing time and the possibility to maneuver and make the most of his abilities, while at United, having to compete for ownership, he was very often left on the sidelines, without the right trust given to him, he never performed as well as he did against West Ham.

Rodri is certainly the key player for Barcelona in this transfer window, he is a good replacement for Frenkie De Jong, who is not in form. You are right, Madrid were first to bid for Rodri, but luckily the player is more interested to sign for Barca. I know if he doesn't have personal relationships with Barca, he would have signed for Madrid, because which player will want to say no to Madrid?.

Barca is now well equipped in all positions except from the CF position, I am still wondering who they are willing to sign, I heard they are in talks with Harry kane and Osimehn. Both players are good option for Barca, but the problem is their financial problems. Barca must act fast, it is remaining just 13 days for the window to close.

Rodri is literally the key to Barcelona. In my opinion, Barcelona don't even fully realize the purchase they managed to bring home.
I don't want to make comparisons, but an axis with Pedri, Rodri and Gavi in Barcelona's midfield may be obviously not similar, but at least comparable to that of Busquets, Xavi and Iniesta.
I mind this Barcelona will be able to do very, very well.

So he's now doing career suicide by following Darwin Nunez's path.
Come on, let's be serious: Reijinders highly underperformed in the Premier League, he was barely playing, and this year nothing would have changed. Then he receives a 20-million yearly salary offer for five years, and you think he was going to turn it down to... Challenge himself? If you were a decent player (because this is what Reijinders is, a decent player), would you ever turn down 100 millions "to challenge yourself"?
Are you assuming he will stay until the end of contract after we have so many european players who got paid nearly same or a bit higher than him, but only played there for one or two seasons, then back to the european league again?

I think this is a bit of Maresca's scapegoat. I guess City let many of their midfield gone with the approval by Maresca. So i guess he wants to build his own squad by buying it from Chelsea who has his golden boy aka Enzo. So this may be a signal he's emptying a spot in the midfield for Enzo to come.
