Atletico is such a joke club, they are willing to sell Alvarez to Arsenal even for a lesser price of what Barcelona and Realmadrid offered just because they are in same Laliga ? Doesn't make any sense .
Now that Alvarez refused it , I wonder what thy will do with him , keep him or just bench him for th entire season, I don't really understand this club.
Barcelona nor Realmadrid is not even a direct rival like that , didn't Griezman left for Atletico. All of a sudden they are worried about just a single player which if they keep, won't still perform what they want since he already want to leave.
It all make sense man. If you were in their shoe you will do the same, am fucking sure of that. it is obvious that they don't want any kind of competition. Alvarez knows everything about the Athletico Madrid, the way they play, the way they defend and attack and if that secret gets leaked to a club like Barca or Real Madrid then Athletico is finished. Athletico know that if Julian Alvarez goes to Barcelona or Madrid he he outshine and he will not become a threat to them. Nobody like their own product to be a threat to them, and that is what will happen if Alvarez leaves to a other Spanish club. But if he goes to arsenal there will not be much of a threat from him because they are not even in the same league. Imo I think athleco should just let him go, Julian Alvarez mind is not even in that team anymore, the dude hardly interact with his mates, he has become a loner, and this kind of behavior can really affect the performance of the club.

For some players, the money paid is the most sensible expenditure for the team. We're talking about one such situation here. Rodri's performance could earn Barcelona even more money. If he avoids injury problems, I think this transfer could be considered the transfer of the year for Barcelona. We're talking about a player who strengthens the midfield, and moreover, this player is a European Player of the Year winner. While 70 million might seem like a lot, it's not excessively high for a player like that.
Rodri is already training with Barcelona, though it appears he is currently following an individual training regimen. This is because the uncertainty surrounding his situation meant he neither trained fully with City nor played any competitive matches. And he had an extended vacation due to the World Cup, longer than the other players. However, Rodri himself maintains that he is in good shape and will soon be able to join the main group for training and play in competitive matches.

Barcelona and Real Madrid have been winning and dominating Atletico de Madrid in La liga for years. There's no excuse for them to behave that way. Why didn't they behave that way when they sold Greizman to Barcelona? The relationship between Barcelona and Atletico Madrid is already broken and I don't want any reconciliation. We have helped them with Luiz Suarez, Depay, lenglet, David Villa, yet they are still being hostile to us. I also remembered that we gave them Griezmann again for a lesser price. I know that one day they will also be in this very position. Alvarez doesn't want to go play Arsenal, his dream his Barcelona why are they not respecting his decisions. But I will still blame him and his agent for signing that kind of contract with €500m release clause.

It definitely doesn't make any sense to me as well. Will I call it pride or is there a worse word to use. If it was Barcelona and real Madrid having a transfer I can understand that one to an extent that these are 2 teams that are rivals, but atletico Madrid is not a rival to any of them except they are forcing their self to be wich will probably not work, because they have been making use of social media to rage bait the both teams (Barcelona and real Madrid) and I don't really know why. But the main point is that this is just pride, the fact that they are going for a lower price and rejecting a higher price because of ego is diabolical.

Rodri's return to the pitch as soon as possible will be very good for us, as it will show that he will be a great asset to Barcelona. Because we all follow the matches between Barcelona and Real Madrid. We will witness firsthand how much of an impact he will have at Barcelona. I think Real Madrid will regret not signing him. Especially if he performs at a high level in Spain this year, I'm sure Florentino Perez will consider himself to have made the worst decision. Real Madrid had more deficiencies in that position than Barcelona. Barcelona snatched Rodri from Real Madrid's hands.

Didn't Atletico also reject Arsenal's offer because as far as I know regarding this transfer Atletico still refused and will continue to keep Julian Alvarez even though he wants to leave this season. So in this case I think now the conflict is becoming more conical between Julian and Atletico because during the transfer this season their relationship is getting stretched even seeing how Julian's agent reacts quite a lot due to Atletico who seem to impose their will. Gil Marin is currently sticking with their stance when Julian leaves then there must be a clause that must be fulfilled and 500 million remains an unreasonable thing to fulfill so even though it may be the beginning of the season the relationship between Atletico and Julian is a little less good but I feel that Julian will remain at Atletico. Atletico Madrid make Julian Alvarez stance clear as star can leave only if one condition is met

If I had to make a comparison with a Real Madrid player, I would choose Modric instead of Hazard. Both Rodri and Modric are kind of slow players, both had some injuries, but due to the way they play I think age is a secondary factor. At the end Modric constantly played for Real Madrid until he was 37 years old, after that he was more on the bench. A player like Rodri could easily player other 6 years at very high level.
Yes, your comparison is spot on. But I’ve got a slightly critical question! Why spend 70 million euros on a player who’s now 30 years old? I realise he’d take the team to the next level, but he’s simply not worth that kind of money. What’s more, the player’s salary is a real burden. Have neither Barcelona nor Real Madrid ever faced this problem? Well, they bought the best defensive midfielder in the world, which is a the top of his career. Considering his contract was about to expire I agree the price is a little steep, maybe they could have paid him 60 millions instead of 70, but 10 millions are not a huge difference at the end of the day. Juventus paid over 100 millions for a 33-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo, and despite his age his performances were phenomenal. I’m not questioning the player’s qualities – he’s truly a top-class player. But I was looking more at the financial side of things. They’ve spent 70 million today, but I don’t think they’ll be able to sell him for that sort of money in the future; his value will inevitably go down as he gets older, and whilst his performance might decline, it could also improve (that’s the big unknown). Obviously, with him in the team, the overall standard of the side rises quite significantly. When you buy a young player, you want to sell him for a high price, but when you buy Rodri, you pay that money for the team's experience. Nobody expects more money to come from him anyway. What he will bring to the club is success and leadership in his position. That's why Barcelona paid so much money for him. Actually, they know that money won't be recouped. If Barcelona is paying that much for a 30-year-old player, I think they have a five-year plan. Rodri is part of a long-term agreement.

If you actually look at Atletico Madrid and say that them against Barcelona are not rival then I will say you need to watch more of football because I don’t know what you understand by rivalry. Because if you look at the clubs in this Laliga there is only three clubs you can actually say are going to win the league, although the odds are bigger base on each team performance. Yes Atletico Madrid have been really poor in the league for the past two seasons but yet they haven’t actually gone below the third place, which simply means that they are rivals. The last time this two clubs exchanged players more specifically a striker was Luiz Suarez and he ended up winning the league for Atletico Madrid over Barcelona that season, so if we are talking about differentials this is the kind of things that happen. So I will strongly disagree with you that this Atletico Madrid are rivals to Barcelona

Arsenal actually, with their game so far, doesn't seem to rely too much on attackers. Gyokeres still looks like he's useless in his position and I think that's because Arsenal's playing style relies more on wing attackers and creative midfielders.

Doesn't make any sense . It completely makes sense... come on They made the same mistakes in the past, and they probably do not want to have a repeat of that. It's like you expecting Manchester City to sell Halaand to Arsenal, who are one of their closest league rivals. or what Arsenal did several years back with Van Persie to Manchester United. Arsenal regretted making that decision for years. It's about self-esteem, so come on, it's not about money, it's about the reverality that over the years, if they make a mistake, they'll regret it. Atletico Madrid may still be holding a grudge. Hehehe. Let other rumours be circulating for Arsenal, meaning we are happy for Alvarez to return to the Premier League, but we are not sure Arsenal will agree to a high price tag. Everyone know alvarez's is not happy in Atletico Madrid and has desire to leave Atletico Madrid to sign for barcelona and in this transfer window has desire can't be completed and alvarez's can definitely try in a January transfer window ya maybe in the next summer transfer window. But Arsenal isn't the perfect destination for Alvarez and that's all just a rumours because Alvarez love playing in barcelona and they didn't give any green light to any club rather then barcelona. If Arsenal sign alvarez's barcelona can go for Haaland next summer and we can see how Haaland do under marseca because I see the first 2 match of Haaland and he is furious and look like he is leaving and that's true if you want to win balloon d'or and big personal achievement you can go for barcelona or Madrid and Barcelona fan love Haaland because he is the one which can solve Barca attacking problems

What mistake though? If haland decides that he wants to leave for Arsenaland Arsenal is also interested, then why not ? They can easily have an agreement of not playing him against them whenever there's a match that involves both teams. If they keep him they can still regret it in such situation. He's not really happy to play for the club so he will definitely just continue misbehaving unless he eventually changes his mind along the way. It's not a direct rivalry as I've mentioned earlier. But last year they did some really bad sh*t to Barcelona Arsenal case is different, Atletico already accepted their offer around 100M + but Alvarez himself refused.

So I will strongly disagree with you that this Atletico Madrid are rivals to Barcelona
Since both Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are always competing closely for the La Liga title, they are rivals. Nevertheless, Real Madrid is the fiercest rival of both clubs. There is always intense competitive tension whenever Real meets Barca or Atlético. Arteta has already said what he was asked about Alvarez. It is said that Arteta is very happy with the current Arsenal squad after several players have officially become part of Arsenal. Atletico, through CEO Miguel Angel Gil, said that Atletico will help Julian Alvarez and continue to try to look after him so that he can find his best potential. This source is from Fabrizio Romano. Miguel Ángel Gil wants Julián Álvarez to remain at Athletico. The CEO is changing his stance now because the player insisted that he wants to leave the club. Arsenal is willing to go the extra mile to bring the Argentine to Emirates, but the player wants to move to Barcelona. Viktor Gyokeres is willing to make the deal for Álvarez easy since he is willing to move to Barcelona.

Rodri simply lacks match fitness. Since there is no injury involved, he will be fully ready in two weeks at most. Barcelona's midfield will become even stronger with him; they have acquired the player best suited for *tiki-taka*. Right now, the team's biggest weakness is in the forward position. If they sign a top-quality player for that role, I believe Barcelona will become the strongest contender for the title in both La Liga and the Champions League this season. With Ferran gone, they don't have any forwards left to play in that position. I imagine Hansi Flick is well aware of this situation.

I have always heard the rumor of Spanish club is not willing to sell a player to their rivals. It is not new anymore because it happens in the Premier League as well. Atletico Madrid has a project of winning the Spanish League, selling Julian Alvarez is to strengthen their rivals. When the two teams face each other, it will be painful to see Alvarez score against his former club in a competitive game for the title. Manchester United and Manchester City are too rivals, I know, don't sell players to each other.

So I will strongly disagree with you that this Atletico Madrid are rivals to Barcelona I am as well surprised someone thinking Atletico Madrid and Barcelona are not rivals. We've seen how fierce and intense their games as always been, even though not as intense as the Classico. Atletico might not be as strong as Barcelona and Madrid but these 3 teams are the only top title contenders and this automatically makes them rivals since they need to fight themselves for the title. Exchanging players can be normal at times but it's usually rare and most of the times exchanging top players among themselves usually cause a stir, their is always a saga before it happens, this shows how much of a rival they are. No team will want their best player to join their rival and that's why the internet always buzzing when they want to exchange a player. Take the Griezmann transfer as another example, before joining Barcelona we all saw how crazy the saga went before it happened. All these are proof that they are rivals. Alvarez is Atletico's best attacker so definitely losing him to Barcelona will be a big blow to them

Atlético Madrid has ambition, what surprises you? After all, they've taken the title from rivals like Real Madrid and Barcelona a couple of times, and that says a lot. I don’t see anything surprising in the fact that they build their strategy in a way that is convenient for them and not for other clubs. As for Alvarez himself, it doesn’t really matter what he wants or not, as soon as the transfer window closes he will start to fulfill his contract. I'm already tired of reading about the "dreams" of idiot players that contradict the signed contracts.

Tottenham has been very poor for the past 2 seasons and at this point I think they are acting very desperate, so teams are taking advantage of their desperation, so that why they are buying players at a very high price. We all know that the market is inflated, but Savinho is not worth that amount, but like I said they are desperate to build a team to compete I'm the premier league in the upcoming season, so other teams are taking advantage of it. That's the only reasonable explanation I can give right now.
Football is a big business now and the price of signing players have skyrocketed a lot compared to three seasons ago. Of course, since football is all about business every club wants to take advantage of the other club to sell any of their players that they're interested in for a very high price. Savinho shouldn't be up to that amount. Sure, he isn't, but then, few things are considered for the high cost. You already mentioned earlier that tottenham is desperate for players and other teams will always take advantage of that. That been said, other factor could be the player.. his interest is of major concern. If a player doesn't want to stay at the current club, and wants to leave, and the parent club doesn't want to sell, then, the parent club will always increase the amount in order to scare the interested club to back out from the bill. So, this could be another reason for the hype. At this point, it is left for the intending or interested club to either decide to buy the player at the high price or back out completely, of course, that's the wish of the parent club, but sometimes, the other club buys no matter the cost because they really need the player. At the end, it's just business.

Well you should know that Rodri coming in will definitely cause a problem in that midfield especially since they are all playing on same positions. It's always the decision of the coach at the end, he chooses who he think will give his team the results he wants even though sometimes it can be a tough decision. It's not the first time in football, we saw how Guardiola left out Yaya Toure despite being the best player at the time, no one could believe that. If the decision will favor the team then there shouldn't be any problems.
The Clasico is supposed to get more exciting with all the preparations done. Barcelona needs to make things right if they still want to keep dominating. It'd be difficult though. I expect much from Madrid with the introduction of Mourinho and the signings made.
Rodri is Pedri's national teammate and i don't think this will negatively affect their relationship. Rodri and Pedri are two talented players. Rodri also has more experience, which is why when he arrives in Barcelona he will certainly take the place of leader of the midfield, but i don't think Pedri sees this as a problem. Indeed, i believe he will aim more to adapt to Rodri's type of game, becoming his ideal arm in the department.

Paying £75m for someone who rarely scored, can't shoot and often lost the ball when he's dribble is absolutely amazing. Spurs is not only get scammed, but this is also showing how they still wanna compete for the relegation zone.
Apart from that the next deal of Marmoush will also be sealed around £50m. So City is still sitting at the pretty positive ROI.
Honestly, those transfers make Zerby sound very foolish coach.
I think Tottenham are doing a good transfer market, actually. He has acquired an interesting number of players of a certain level who will certainly allow him to increase his offensive effectiveness, something that he struggled to achieve last year. It is a team that is aiming to rebuild itself from scratch. We will see the implications of these changes already in the first Premier League matches.
