Martinez is 33 years but I also think he’s better and could be a better replacement for Sanchez if the deal can be concluded, with all indications the deal might be done sooner than expected because the fans and supporters are not happy with Sanchez at the moment and the pressure on him is much.

But I think it might be more acceptable for Chelsea, because they're a club with a lot of money, and they've always been more willing to spend big on transfers. But it seems strange to me that Aston Villa is selling off their key players. It seems like transfer profits are more important to them than results this season.

They are other names too that chelsea have done a good business with, Garnacho and  Santos. Chelsea have not sell a player below what they bought them for. Chelsea will move an average player so easily and even make good profit on them.

When you look at the business they have done with Aston villa so far, giving them Garnacho on loan with an obligation to buy and also selling Jackson for them now. If you combine both fee you will see Chelsea only bought Morgan Rogers for just 8million pounds.

Chelsea are the best selling club in the world right now. They are now in talks to get Martinez from Villa, if they can get him, then they will have done a good business in both incoming and outgoing.

Sanchez has been given enough time and as it stands he's not a perfect fit for Chelsea anymore. Chelsea are looking to probably challenge for the league title but with Sanchez inconsistent performance he will definitely be a set back for them so it's better to find a better replacement as soon as possible so they don't end up regretting. He's just not a reliable keeper, whenever he keeps the fans and player's mind are never at rest. Honestly everytime I think of Raya I just envy Arsenal for having such a good goalkeeper.

The initial asking price seems a bit high for a 33 years old goalkeeper so Juventus didn't see any reason to spend that much on a 33 years old goalkeeper so they abandoned the idea. With Sanchez's situation I think Chelsea won't mind and would do anything do get Martinez. They need a reliable goalkeeper and Martinez seems like one, he has experience and maturity that will benefit Chelsea more.

The price tag was high, before Isak and Wirtz spent over £100 for each player.

Overall Barcola performed quite impressive, when he was PSG and the World Cup with a fairly prominent appearance, I hope when at Liverpool he can still contribute a lot to his new team.

No matter what anyone says about the price, Liverpool have done enough to bring the best players into their squad.

At long last they've gotten the player they have been setting their sights on and I just hope we don't wait long for him to start displaying what they need him for. Barcola is a good winger but he often misses chances to score and I will prefer he improves his scoring techniques because it's one thing to be in a club where you were UCL champions last season and do as you like and another to be in a club that's struggling to ensure they win the Epl this time around. You'd have to work to earn your keep else he might just be another huge signing that ended up becoming a flop.

Good player no doubt, he can dribble and create chances but his a terrible finisher. Barcola can dribble, cut in and when it's time for him to score, it becomes a difficult job for him. I wonder why Liverpool had to lose Diaz because he has all the qualities, he can take on defenders, cut in, shoot and score that's a typical LW kind of stuff, well I really don't know why they lost Diaz but they have moved on. I hope Barcola will improve on his finishing because that's where the major problem is, if he can actually finish off most of the chances then there will be no problem. Naturally, his a good winger just that's he doesn't finish off well, maybe with Liverpool he can learn new things and a better way to finish.

If Chelsea managed to complete this deal, they are set to change things for good this season. Goalkeeper is one of the areas Chelsea is falling short and if they can get Martinez, that gap would be filled. Aston villa and Chelsea are good traders in the transfer market, this deal is likely to stand if both parties are very serious. From various reports, Martinez is excited about the deal and wouldn't hesitate to say yes to Chelsea when they make the offer. Aston villa has gotten his replacement and there's no point keeping him as second choice. They are about to lose a valuable asset but money is more valuable than any asset you can think of. Chelsea has money, that's why they always get what they want.

Aston villa is also linked to Chelsea Nicolas Jackson  I can't imagine how happy I would be if both deals happen before the transfer window closes.

It looked crazy at first when I saw the transfer fees for Delap from another source and it was so crazy that I had to confirm it from Fabrizio's wall on X because I didn't believed it that any English side was going to agree to buy him for that amount after playing a full season and scoring only 2 goals.
But it's really interesting how Chelsea manage to convince their prospects to buy some of these players at the fees they're sold for. A player they bought at £30 million who could not impress with a great performance, yet, was able to catch a higher fees.

It's not that he's a bad player because he failed at Chelsea, maybe he just couldn't find his form at Chelsea. As far as I know, players' performance is not always taken into account when making a transfer, sometimes the transfer price is based on the players' ability and potential.

Players performance is what is put forward along side a player's age when place on the transfer marke. Why do you think everyone is talking about Erling Haaland? It's because of his consistency with good performance every season.
Delap may not be a bad player but for the record of last season his stats were abysmally poor, for a striker, 2 goals in a season doesn't say good of him. That's my emphasis.

Although I also think that Nottingham Forest are paying a bit too much for Delap!
