This signing is curious. I imagine Hansi Flick was the one who had to find the right profile. I'm not saying anything, but in my opinion, this player is good, but not good enough to bring him here. However, Hansi is very wise in what he does and looks for; he surely has a good plan to integrate him.

I would have looked for a defender. I see that even with their formation, Barcelona still needs someone with a strong presence on the flanks, especially the left, which is where I see attacking intent and where it's easy to penetrate. But with Rodri already there, I imagine he'll also use him as a holding midfielder.

I'm curious as well. When Barcelona played Rayo Vallecano yesterday, I could see Gabriel Jesus in the stands observing the game and I'm guessing he was calculating how he'd fit in at the team. It's a good observation you made and so far the only club that can make Barcelona aware that their defense isn't that solid is Madrid but at least it's not that bad so let's see how the coming games will be for the defending champions.

Wait, so Manchester City has finally signed Fernandez from Chelsea for this fee, I trust Chelsea in these kind of business, they don't sell their players below the asking price and I have noticed that they are so good at this particular business, I am really behind these days in recent happening in the world of football, if not here, by now I wouldn't know Fernandez has moved to Manchester City. But come to think of it, what exactly are these guys building? They are just splashing money left, right and centre, I also read here yesterday that they are interested in Gakpo but Liverpool needed his replacement first before negotiations can take place. I'm just wondering what this City team is building, not after spending all these hundreds of millions they will end up not winning any important trophy, lol.

At the end they finally signed one of their main target, he might be very costly but what Enzo Fernandez has to offer is worth it moreover he'll be reconnecting with his former manager who made him standout at Chelsea so the reunion could be beneficial to Manchester City, they now have two of the best midfielders in EPL, Anderson and Enzo.

Total: 416 million  They fell just short of Liverpool's record of 483 million last year, but they're close! But, by the way, if remember that City bought Semenyo and someone else in the winter, that’s another +100 million to the total expenses.

Chelsea is truly the winner in this transfer window, especially in the aspect of player sales. Chelsea have been able to sell players they don't need and those that don't want to play for the club anymore. Selling this players is not the issue for me, they have also been able to make a lot of profit from their sale, despite the fact that they don't want most of them, that's really a good one for them.
On the sale of Enzo Fernandez,  I think it's a win win for all parties involved. Chelsea made good money from the sale, Manchester City got their man and Enzo Fernandez also got a move away from Chelsea.  I also think he is going to be a good signing for Manchester City.

Yes, since Rodri, Bernardo Silver and Tijani had left the team, they need to sign new set of midfielders because only Rayan Cherki is left in the midfield that can give the team the performance that is up to the standards they wanted, that is why the management and Maresca tried their best to see these deals happen before the last minute of the transfer market.

What can we expect from these expensive midfielders?
Enzo is an experience midfielder with Premier League experience same as Anderson, I believe they will not struggle to adapt to the team’s style of play, they will help the team to be in the title race since they have one of the best midfield combo that are expensive.

Last minute darma is finally at the end. I am not sure why Manchester City and Enzo Maresca want that's much this guy Enzo Fernandez. He is talented guy but what's they did in the worldcup final I think every premier league club are curious to sign him but we can say Enzo Maresca see him as the new best midfielder after rodri and I hope they can perform that's much which Maresca want him. Aside Chelsea post darma about Enzo he is such a young and brilliant player they can change the game tempo in any club. So maybe that's what's Maresca see hum and bring him to the club. 145 million euros for that player, I can say that it is a very large transfer amount.. but considering that this is one of the richest clubs in the Premier League, I am not surprised.

I see that City's title probability has bounced back from 19% to 25% on Polymarket. I'll probably wait a bit longer and start building position. After all, you can always sell a position. But they never wanted to let him go that they had to close the deal immediately like a deadline but look at what we are seeing, this Enzo move is too annoying and if he doesn't perform well I think Chelsea fans will celebrate his down fall because against Fulham they were all booing him like he betrayed them.

I thought i was the only one that sees Enzo Fernández as an annoying player who is always full of himself. On top of that, he is an aggressive player who can be booked at any time due to lack of discipline. I don't know why Maresca was so interested in him that even when Chelsea gave a deadline which was not met by Manchester City but Maresca still went ahead and sign him afterwards.

Seems you forget Arsenal, they were also active in the transfer market. Chelsea signed a good player in the person of Morgan Rogers who has 2 goals contribution in just 2 matches (he scored one goal and made one assist). I don't even know the kind of players that Tottenham and Liverpool signed because they are not meeting up to expectation.

City will just be acting as a dominant team but I believe they are never winning anything big this season.

In the previous years and seasons Chelsea wasted a lot of money and in this transfer window they really went all out and sold a lot of players. I think they are the team that profited the most this season and still they are looking really good. It appears that one club's reject is another's fancy. Yeah, Sanchez has moved to Como.. maybe a different scene and environment will help the Spanish goalkeeper regain his confidence. Chelsea have had a brilliant commercial strategy this season. They sold players we wouldn't expect to be of exceptional quality or high price for over €50 million. I checked on Transfermarkt, and if I'm not mistaken, they've made around €300 million in sales – a huge amount.
Of course, they also signed many players, so you could say they spent more money than they earned

KDB is one of my favourite player after Foden in City .. Unfortunately he gets tired easily these days, I’m not sure how he’s performing at Napoli though. Does he play full matches?

By now,  Napoli should have really become  unstoppable by just adding more player to the squad to balance the team but they went ahead selling both  Kvaratskhelia and Osimhen.. I remember posting a comment here then that Napoli is making a really big mistake with the transfers .
