I'm of the opinion that they’ll have to compete for a starting position, they're both good keepers and since Sanchez was a starter at a club like Chelsea he won't go over to Como to become a benched player so to be fair, Fabregas would put both keepers to test and that best man would be the first choice.

Roberto Sanchez has shown his class when he is actually consistent but we ofteh overlook it because of the flaws or incompetency he shows sometimes and this makes me remember Kepa, although last season Sanchez shown more consistency before dropping off.

While I may not know much about the Como goalie I will say if Sanchez can keep a good form then he will be their number one, I doubt Como got him to become a second choice goalie especially now that they have the champions league to compete in.

It is obviously profit, I wonder why you cannot see that... Chelsea has already made this type of profit-based sales they did with Enzo with previous players, the likes of Hazard, Madueke etc...Alright look at it,Enzo was bought by Chelsea from benfica for around €121M, if it wasn't for the profit Enzo would have probably be sold for that same amount or even lesser.. In my opinion, this was a ridiculous expenditure. Diomande is a quality player, there's no doubt about that, but I don't see even a fraction of the performance expected from a 140 million euro transfer fee at Real Madrid. He comes on as a substitute for Arda, but he can't even replicate half of Arda's impact. If Real Madrid paid that much money for him, Jose Mourinho must have really wanted him. However, I think Jose Mourinho made a transfer mistake here. I hope my opinion changes in the future, but I don't think Diomande is a better winger than Arda.

It's not the decision of the league to keep or rotate players within the league, if any other league finds a player and are willing to meet up with the amount tagged to the player, they will purchase such a player without interference from the FA. I don't also agree with you on what you said about buying from rival teams as tradition. It's an agreement between two different teams and like I said earlier, if you meet up to the price tag of the player you can have him but since I started following football, Manchester United and Liverpool are rival and I haven't seen players from either of the teams moving to the other side.. in clear terms, I haven't seen Liverpool selling or buying from Manchester United and vice versa, these two teams are direct rivals in the league.

Of course this is not a league decision, teams can buy players from other teams even if they are rivals. By paying the value of the player's price tag they can do so easily.
