From a different perspective I think it's true, and it's no wonder why many players join the EPL and struggle. Yeah Exactly Aron Slot absolutely distracted the Liverpool team like his first season was good but his let season was absolutely poor. Liverpool spend a lot of budget to get a quality players for him but still his progress was much more poor than the previous one. I never saw a poor season like this before in last 2 decades of Liverpool.......

I really don't think so, it's not only EPL players that are being for huge fees, other clubs sell players at huge amounts as well, I think it's all about the hype. Look at the amount of money Real Madrid signed a player from Leipzig! I agree that these fees are way too much and some don't even worth the amount at which they are being sold for but I think inflation has a major role to play in this. Apart from inflation, hype, number of years left in a contract before sale and the age of the players plays another major role in the price tag of such a player. And if such a player has a good season, these can increase the price tag of a player. Take a look at Rodri, he has a good WC and that increased his price tag from what it has been before the WC to what he was sold for after the WC.

Now we no longer understand anything, the player market has swollen a lot, then there are teams that have no problem buying players for a high price and then there are other teams that can't. Real Madrid doesn't have this kind of problem, yes Rodri does too, he has a good WC and his price has increased a lot, something should be done, it shouldn't cost so much.
