The close of transfer window is not making Chelsea to give up to pursue Alex scott. Chelsea is lacking a proper player in their midfielder, and they have to sign someone else, and it can only happen in january window.
So they're likely trying to chase Alex Scott to be their main target. The reason is that Alex Scott is not interesting to sign a new contract with Bournemouth . So he will have one year lext next summer.
It's obviously decreasing his price a lot, and none will pay big sum of money for him. So it looks like Chelsea sees it as a momentum to at least achieve pre - agreement with him.
They seem very obsessed with scott, though their offers already turned down by Bournemouth two times. Bournemouth has to think smarter to cash in him instead of waiting his contract to running out.
Chelsea, having nevertheless decided to sell their best midfielder, namely Enzo Fernandez, to their direct rivals Manchester City, thus found themselves without a real midfielder of their own. Alex Scott has convinced the club a lot with his performances, but he is currently still under contract with Bournemouth until next season. i think the developments will go in Chelsea's favor next year in the new market.

Fostering this chemistry will be one of De Zerbi's most important tasks.
Tottenham has many very interesting individual players, but they lack the connecting links, that is, those players who manage to unite the game between the various individuals in the team and who bring real harmony to the game. And Tottenham seems to be missing this thing. And this is why i see it as difficult, but not impossible, to recover from this season that started badly.

I have said a billion times how I do not like that handle in the image carrying the news, I know Bournemouth won't want to sell him for less after the recent outrageous big bucks spent during the transfer window, but if Alex Scott can stay fit and injury free,he'll most definitely leave for a great quid. These handles on twitter do not also help matters, they're also paid to push narratives to keep a player trending online. That said, clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester United was linked towards purchase him but I don't know what happens, I feel he'll most definitely leave for Liverpool eventually, joining his previous boss Andoni Iraola. I do not see him joining Chelsea despite the links.

Barcelona defense is strong enough and I don't think they need to buy a CB to the defense, only if they want to keep him on standby in case of injury or for players rotation because Barcelona hasn't conceded more than two goals this season in all competitions. That shows that the defense is perfect.
Well, I've seen that they still have a lot to improve. They have the best attack, yes, and they've refined it in many ways, but with Rodri's arrival, I see that they're using him more as a pivot, which is good. He provides composure and, by slowing down the tempo a bit, gives them more stability. But when Barcelona attacks down the flanks, I see that they lack pace on the tracking back. Cubarsí is good, but he can't cover everything. He's an excellent center-back, but he can still lose some duels. In this aspect, I'm just saying what I see, but Hansi has done a great job. So far, they've been winning by large margins. I'd like to see a Barcelona vs. PSG match, since PSG is a team that has the formula to stop Hansi's style and well, to see if Mou can do it too. You know it's been quite a while, we have seen Barcelona and PSG come to clash and I am happy it's happening in the group stage but it would have been better assuming, it's in the knockout stage. Let me see who would have sent the other packing. You're right that Cubasi is giving his best in the defense but might not be able to do that, if Barcelona clash with a big team with an aggressive attacking force.

As i was saying, Paris Saint-Germain only improved after giving away formidable players but who actually weren't performing at their best in the team. Just as Chelsea then did, with a market worth more than half a billion, only to then fail to obtain anything. And the same is happening now with Tottenham, with incredible players taken but without knowledge of the facts. Extremely strong players but who are then not useful for scoring points and returning to compete.
That was not the case, The manager couldn't make very good use of them, to have a star player is one thing, but using it rightly is another thing. OP isn’t getting it still that the players weren't really the problem, he depends on how he's combining them but at the same time, he was supposed to get more players to make the combinations work the right way. PSG didn't really spend that much on players , they were only paying so much on the players they had especially Mbappe and since he's left, they had more to fit in more players into the squead.

It's the amount spent that's making people go crazy, even though they don’t end up making top four at the end of the season, they shouldn't be starting this poor with an upgraded squad. Imagine being a Tottenham and watching the transfer go smoothly with need god arrivals then team end up playing like they didn’t participate in transfer when the new season starts.
The disappointment would be too much, that’s why i don't blame fans for voicing out their frustration. Their next match is something lot's of people won't expect positive result from but if they can go to Anfield and good result then it could help them alot. It's still too early to call their recruitment a failure, let's give them more time.
Spot on, when a team spends huge amounts of money in the transfer window to land these guys, at least some level professionalism is expected from the new signings and one of that professionalism is quick adaptation and most importantly winning matches. You can't spend such amount of money and the fans instead of getting excited that their team is about playing, will instead be having mixed feelings concerning their team. At this rate the fans will be hoping for a draw instead of a win. This isn't his it's supposed to be for a team that spent this much in the transfer. Professionalism is on the pitch. These players are professional by mouth. On the pitch, they are regular footballers lucky to be in the spotlight. The transfer window is like gambling on players. The one you think will perform better may be the one to perform less after signing them. To sign proven players, the fee is high. That is why Tottenham signings are questionable. It is questionable because the players they signed are not proven players, so why spend a large fee bringing them to your club?

Roberto De Zerbi has gotten some of the players he needed and should start getting positive results. Some good coaches would have maximized the available players. The fans and club management would have to give him more time to build the squad. It is not an easy task, but that is why he is the manager. If the club doesn't start winning games after the first six to ten games, then Tottenham management should begin to investigate what is wrong.

When Roberto De Zerbi used the players he met at Tottenham Hotspur and escaped relegation last season I thought Tottenham Hotspur wouldn't struggle this season but I am surprised how Tottenham Hotspur hasn't been able to earn a single point after playing three matches since the start of this Premier League season even after spending a lot of money in bringing new players. Tottenham Hotspur management will give Roberto De Zerbi time if he starts winning matches but if he keeps losing matches, Tottenham Hotspur management won't hesitate to sack him despite him saving Tottenham Hotspur last season.

But for an experienced manager like Roberto Di Zerbi, I wasn't expecting him to face difficulties in uniting the team and making them play for each other for the interest of the club. He has a record of succeeding with average players, that was why I was impressed when Tottenham appointed him as the club manager. I was expecting him to help Tottenham return to competing for the EPL again but unfortunately, that's not been the reality. I still believe that he can do something about it, I hope he does.

https://x.com/theMadridZone/status/2098333670037758157We are just getting started but there are already bad rumours for Madrid. Mou's performance even though it is still quite good still does not seem to give satisfaction to Perez who makes the coaching turmoil still exist but this is still a rumor and cannot be confirmed for clarity and may not be confirmed before action because Madrid rarely divulge information about transfers before it can really be ascertained. But with this hopefully this does not interfere with his future performance and Mou still remains focused on his work because if this becomes annoying in a busy season then it could be a boomerang for Madrid and I as a fan do not expect the situation last season with Xabi to repeat in the current Mou era.

I think getting a quality player is not as you put it, there have been managers or clubs who are fortunate to get more percentage of players who are doing well or excellently. There is a aspect of transfer that has it gamble but still it is not that difficult, following media hype is one factor that often causes this but to be honest I don't think that was the major influence on Tottenham transfer because before the season seeing the class of players tgey went for there is a level of strategic process they followed ignoring spending excessive which I kinda understand here.

Tottenham spend $460 million this season no doubt they bring this transfer window to heat up. The only problem Tottenham is facing right now is the management they have they are very unprofessional and poor. If your club reaches to the ucl final and you are in the league top 5 team you must need to make a transfer every single season to improve your squad if you didn't do that's you must be relegate and played in the 2nd division that's the whole story of Tottenham in 2019 they reaches to the ucl final and then they regularly top 5 team in the league but didn't improve your squad you are definitely be relegated.

It is clear that a collection of players does not equal a team. But at Tottenham, this manifests itself on a truly hypertrophied scale. Two years in 17th place (though to their credit, they did win the Europa League), and now 1 point from 3 games with a goal difference of 0-5 (lol). Today they are playing against Everton, a team that, conversely, is doing well and they simply have to win. The odds are actually quite generous, but I don't want to take the risk: 1.96 - 3.75 - 3.65 A bet on Tottenham failing to score their first goal of the season looks interesting, with odds of 4.90

It is not impossible that you can see this behavior often in the Premier League, I consider this the behavior of club managers. Are you going to pick your favorite team? Remember Everton can reverse direction in this match they are black kuta, while Spurs are a weak team and also can not be predicted, I'm not sure Spurs will win easily.

Obviously they need some experience in their defense but also we should know that with their style of play they won't be needing players getting old, it'd be very stressful for them. I think that's why Hansi Flick isn't much bothered about bringing experience. It's not easy playing high line defensive strategy that's why I have some respect for Barcelona's defenders. Although without a ruthless attack they would probably be losing lots of games. Experience would be useful but they shouldn't go for too old players probably above 30 years age.
In the Barcelona vs PSG game if Barcelona can try to outscore PSG they can win it but won't be easy to do that knowing they have a weakness in the defense.
But it is the type of game that Flick also used with Bayern, albeit in a slightly more diversified way, because he still uses the classic Barcelona tiki-taka, using a lot of midfield as a link between defense and attack and tending towards a very offensive game, which leads Barcelona to score a large number of goals, thus putting the defensive department at a disadvantage, but it is a risk that must be faced if you want to win.

Currently barcelona don't need any defenders they are good with Christensen and Gerrad Martin. If Araujo deal happens smoothly with Liverpool maybe barcelona can try in January transfer window but as of now barcelona don't need any defenders they easily pair Christensen with cubarsi and Gerad Martin with cubarsi. Flick system is clear they don't need any new defenders what's they have they are using it very well because they brought the Big man Rodri and they already solve half of their defence problems because he is mature and have experience so in my opinion if rodri stay on the pitch barcelona don't have any defence problem I'd they get injured maybe Barcelona can suffer a little bit.
Barcelona has one of the best-stocked squads in La Liga, especially in the defense phase. Maybe he lacks that extra centre-back who can always be useful, but despite this he still has a large number of full-backs and centre-backs who, even if not all of them are extremely strong, can still make their contribution and who can make a difference with their commitment.

The odds are actually quite generous, but I don't want to take the risk: 1.96 - 3.75 - 3.65 A bet on Tottenham failing to score their first goal of the season looks interesting, with odds of 4.90 Is it possible that the coach changes so often that he cannot find the rhythm of the game or solid players? It is not impossible that you can see this behavior often in the Premier League, I consider this the behavior of club managers. Are you going to pick your favorite team? Remember Everton can reverse direction in this match they are black kuta, while Spurs are a weak team and also can not be predicted, I'm not sure Spurs will win easily. It is possible. But I’m not enough of a Tottenham expert to have an opinion on that. The revolving door of managers in the Premier League (and beyond) is such that I can’t keep up with it all, nor do I have the desire to, haha. It seems that nowadays a player can go through a prolonged period of poor performance and still be given chances, whereas coaches are replaced very quickly. As for the bet, I like the "Tottenham Double Chance" at odds of 1.27. A 27% return isn't bad for a single outcome, and if Tottenham loses, the lost stake will simply be the price paid to watch their ongoing, epic collapse

Everyone have faith that the squad will play well but the question now is when. It just unacceptable To have just one point in three premier league games, Especially with that squad and that amount of money spent. We all know how difficult it is to get a top 4 now in the premier league, so each point counts. Tottenham have not even played any of the big 5 yet and they are struggling already.
This coming weekend they have a big game against Liverpool at Anfield, I don’t want to be too quick to judge but I don’t see them getting any point in that game. By the end of the season if De Zerbi can’t get Tottenham at least and Europa league football, then I think with the amount of recruitment, he have failed.
During the summer transfer the signings they were doing look very good that I had to keep monitoring that teams transfer, because I thought they will be a threat to the other top 5 teams, in redeeming their self from the bad performance they had last season. but at this points it’s even looking like it’s getting worse. They have failed to win a single match since the season started. And just like you have said, they are yet to play the top teams, if they fail to get point from the weaker teams I don’t know how they could face the top guys and get way with even a draw. I think you mixed up thing, they are playing Everton in this weekend match, and not Liverpool like you said. I do hope they get a win there else they might not Escape the relegation this time if they continue this way.

To test or prove Barcelona defence is still vulnerable is when they face a team with a pressing game. In UCL there is PSG who can put pressure on the opponent intensely and incidentally Barcelona will fight it, so we can see that Barcelona not only need a solid defender but an experienced defender. Now they rely mostly on young players who are usually prone to emotions when their opponents exert aggressive pressure.
Absolutely, every team has its weaknesses anyway. In this case Barcelona could perhaps be the defense. Facing a team like Bayern Munich, which has a purely offensive game, can certainly put the Blaugrana defense in much more difficulty, given the qualities of the opposing team. However, being teams that tend to lose their balance a lot, they also put their defense in difficulty.

Barcelona's defense has been the reason they've been kicked out of the Champions League all these years. The midfielders and the attackers they have are incredible but they definitely lack a good central back next to Cubarsí. They only have Christensen and Eric García, and they are both mediocre players. And if Cubarsí gets injured... Good luck. So I really have no idea how you can say that they have a perfect defense after what we've seen during the past years.
Barcelona is covered in all areas of the team: in goal, in defense, in midfield and in attack. Then obviously there are always some gaps that can be improved upon. For example, as central defenders, besides Coubarsì there is not another noteworthy player, but still very good players on whom we can rely. Certainly something that Barcelona have already taken into consideration.
