The system is the problem. Premier League is currently stronger than every other league. Most players that come to the league can't cope with the physicality and the pace, and there are better teams competing in the other league. Only a few come into the league and start doing what they usually do for their previous club. If you think you have pace as an attacker, there is a defender there in the league to match the pace. Because anything above average is leaning towards world class and frankly Hakimi Ziyech was not on that level he had talent but that wasn’t even comparable to Neymar because Neymar was a generational talent, he even was on the ballon d’or top 10 while playing at a Brazil league at such a young age so him and Ziyech are miles apart. Yeah I remember Ozil. He was however 24 when he joined Arsenal. When he is just kind of setting up plays and opportunities without it costing him anything, right? During those he was 27 years old. Still had everything in the tank physically.

I think Hakim Ziyech peak ended at Ajax. He was on average when he was playing for Chelsea. Not that he was totally bad but at Chelsea, his performance wasn't as impressive as it was when he was at Ajax. It's probably true when people claim that Chelsea is a club that kills players career.

I don't know much about Brazilian league but I hope he can adapt quickly and regain his form. He wasn't part of the world cup squad due to his poor fitness and form. It's heartbreaking to see a legendary player going through things like this.

It's not even about the pressure in my opinion, it simply was a scouting mistake. Ajax during those years did great things in Europe, especially in the 2019-20 season if I recall correctly, and all the players looked better than they actually were. And Ziyech was simply one of those. I'm a Juventus fan, I can also mention De Ligt, who arrived with huge expectations and then we found out he barely knew how to defend. I'm not sure any of those Ajax players actually kept good performances after they left the team. So it's not only Ziyech, it was the whole team, including the manager.

Even if you should ask majority of the football players they will tell you is true that the epl is the hardest league to survive in as a footballer. I’m not saying that every player who comes to the premier league must struggle to adapt but majority of them who come from other league where they were actually doing well and regarded as kings when they come to the epl they become average or below average. I think is as a result of the high level of demands by the premier league clubs when compared to other leagues, the high competitiveness in the league has made every club, managers and fans to  always want more from their players. Most of them are being brought to the league with a lot of money and as a result there’s too much expectation to start performing immediately. A lot of teams there see themselves as capable to win titles, not like other leagues where one or two clubs are always winning the title, there’s competition for trophies in the epl and due to the high level of investments in that league they always expect more from the players.

We don’t know for sure what Man United’s management will decide.. but what’s clear is that last season Man United managed to finish the season well and made it to the Champions League.. with an achievement like that, Carrick should still be considered by the management board.. even though their performance at the start of this season is still lacking, I think it’s just a matter of time until the squad they have really starts performing consistently.. so right now, what we believe is that Carrick is still trying to improve Man United’s performance and Man United’s management should also have high trust in him.

I have to agree with you. I remember a lot of us calling for the sack of Mikel Arteta for not being able to win the league even in the seasons they dominated most of it but the club management stuck with him and believed so much in the project they he was building.
Now, Arsenal are the most consistent English Premier League team. I honestly don't think their dominance will be halted anytime soon.

They have very big defensive problems, and Cucurella left a huge void. Bastoni is one of the players I consider very good in defense, and he can make all the difference. That's why I think if Xabi asks for a defender right now, the club should do everything possible to bring him in. Chelsea really needs him. After Cucurella's departure xabi Alonso need a solid defender to strengthen the defense line, Callobah is also a main defender which leaves Chelsea in the summer so xabi Alonso definitely need a solid defender like Bastoni maybe they can sign him in January otherwise in the summer it's confirmed they will bring one defender definitely. Bastoni is a good player, he is a player that every team will want to have in the squad, but the the problem is Inter Milan, Inter value the player and his release clause is worth 70 million, and the player himself has come out to say that he want to stay at Inter and continue his career, maybe the player will be interested in Chelsea project and he will decide to join the club, but i still believe that the player will want to stay at Inter because they are always the favorite to win the league every season and Chelsea always find it difficult to make it to top four.

If Alonso can convince the player it will be a good thing, but Bastoni is use to a club that always play Champions League every season, the reason why i said that is because many players have left Chelsea because the club is not performing in the Champions league, so Bastoni can also think about that and reject the offer to stay at Inter.
