This is more unlikely since Serie A is less competitive and there are quite a lot of older players there who have been able to balance things up and still keep up a fine form. Alaba will more likely be having a wonderful spell here except injury setbacks happens again.

I don't think like you do. The reason is that the Italian League is very tough and, in my opinion, riskier in terms of injury for players. Therefore, David Alaba could get injured again here. Of course, I hope it doesn't happen again, but his injury-prone nature makes his situation questionable. Alaba is a good signing, but only if he doesn't get injured.

The Serie A indeed is quite rough I forgot that earlier but there's something that makes La Liga more difficult than the Serie A. Alaba injury record is the issue, he is world class but how long can him be available?

There are number of old players moving to Serie A and are doing well, maybe at Udinese the medical team will be helpful and he will probably have ease in the team in level he strain himself.

In 5 seasons at Real Madrid he had a total of 83 appearances, and when we look at Bayern where he was for 11 consecutive seasons, he had a total of 331 appearances where he was a starter 90% of the time. So i agree with you when you say that he didn't have enough time on the pitch at Real. You have to take into account that he is 34 years old and that he can surely play 2 more good seasons. We will see what he will do in Udine. Personally for me, Alaba is a very good defender. I could compare him with Bremer from Juventus.

I didn't really fancy Alaba's transfer to Madrid. It looks as if he would have achieved more individual as a Bayern player for a very long time and would have definitely become a legend of the club.
He is a defender that has a lot of energy and passion for football, but I can say that Real Madrid didn't go well for him.

I never said that Conte is better than Carrick. I only said what if he doesn't understand Manchester United game pattern and his own game strategy didn't work out for the players. Apart from the fact that he's never gone return back to his prime or deliver those performances that made him become one of the best defenders of his generation David Alaba is very prone to injury, so I think retiring from professional football would've been a better decision from him after leaving Real Madrid.

Moving to Udinese might be considered a good move for him but will he be able to regularly start games again? I doubt. I rarely watch Udinese games but for Alaba's sake, I'll begin to watch their games to see how he'll perform in the Italian Serie A

Is there anything that he is playing for currently to prove, I don't think so from his career.
At the current level that he is playing, he cannot be guaranteed a starting position in any top team in club leagues and should also give way to younger players. That is how retirement happens, some players will bow out earlier than others, some will play to retirement age etc.

For someone like him, if he desires to not be away from football, he can take up a career role in coaching the sport.

As you rightly noted, Ronaldo, Benzema, Modrić, and Kroos belong to a completely different generation, and we need to look not at when they left Real Madrid, but rather at when they arrived there. And that was, on average, 15 years ago. I would say that over those 15 years, the world has changed more than sports have, thanks to accessible internet and the fact that everyone now shares the same information space. Therefore, I would be less critical of athletes, they are a reflection of the outside world rather than something unique within the football ecosystem.
Incidentally, if we talk about individual players, Kroos turned out to be of no use to Bayern, and Modric was considered a huge flop at first, but they both turned their fortunes around. Kroos left on his own by ending career, Modric sat for so long that it became indecent (with all due respect to him), Casillas... it was time for him to leave, and there were a thousand reasons to consider him a controversial figure   Ronaldo also left on his own, they didn’t try to keep him, one of the biggest mistakes for sure. And yet, I wouldn't overdramatize it, no club can have both top players and saints at the same time. Most people are assholes, regardless of their professional qualities. I think this is the best decision for him he spent good time in European club and everywhere they goes they show up there. They started the career with ajax then Tottehem and Inter Milan but he's career peaks at Manchester United and now they are in Wolfsburg but it's a good time to say goodbye to football because can't compromise with him any more and the age as well so in my opinion they played very good football and now it's time to rest and focus on your health.

It is universally acknowledged that Real Madrid have a lot of quality players and they have made a lot of new signings in the transfer window. Despite signing a record number of players this season, Real Madrid are still far from achieving the desired success. Even though they have good players, the team's responsible persons may not be able to understand the reasons behind their lack of success. Many blame Perez but I see no shortage of effort. The manager is making changes and spending a lot of money to buy players. If José Mourinho has to be sacked, perhaps Perez will be tougher if the club needs him. You are right, it would have been great for Real Madrid to bring Rodri into the team, but Rodri has signed with the team of his choice and is playing there.

My advice for Eriksen is to retire from football, he is not the same player he used to be, age has already changed his performance, he was the one that collapsed during the World Cup and that shows that it is time for him to retire, many players have passion for continuing playing but there are some limit that you need to give up, no team will want to sign him at this stage because of his age, Wolfsburg have many young players that can play his position and they are very stronger than him, the only league he can play in is MLS, that league is for old players that still twang to play football, he can win trophies even without being the first in the league table.

Eriksen should have done this after his first collapse on the pitch. I guess his body can no longer handle his willingness to play football, and keep conitnue to force himself to play football is also threatening his life. So this is a very good decision, though it's a bit too late.

He has serious trouble on his kardiovaskular, and it's already made him collapse twice. There's no better thing than terminating his own contract when he realizes he's no longer young, and staying with his family will be much better for him.

I believe people don't wanna see him to fall on the pitch and almost die. So i support him to enjoy his money, then watching football as a viewer. 

He should be becoming a role for others who is in the same situation as him not to force their body. When you can't play anymore, retire is the best solution.

It should have been done and I think it was a pretty wise decision for Eriksen. He is respected of course but with his current age and with a history of 2 collapses on this field makes it to his own worries even though he loves this sport but he has to love his own body.

Looking from some of the statements in the local social media that I read he has already been installed ICD and it can certainly happen situations that are not expected for the condition of the body when there is an emergency situation so I support if he actually stops his football activity.

This player is also the same as Eriksen, he is old enough although Alaba is still capable enough to be able to compete in a club whose tension is slower like Serie A but there could be other situations considering his glass feet are increasingly vulnerable for now.

Initially he still could but after the ACL it certainly made his performance out of control so being at a club whose tension is strong enough it will give rise to worry about injury vulnerability but being in Serie A which is sometimes quite friendly for the old man will be enough to make him enjoy the end of the career he has.

The 2x wage boost is too tempting to be missed. No doubt Enzo agreed with City's offer because he can get more than what he got from Chelsea. If City was coming to him with less wage offer than what Chelsea gave to him. I think he would never join there.

Monetary reason seems to be a reasonable reason why he moved there. Anyone would have think the same as him when they're in the same situation as him.  

I don't think Enzo Fernández was ever a huge Manchester City fan, enough to give up his salary or a share to go and play for them. Has for Carrick, possibly this Tottenham game could be his make or break, while I don’t agree that Manchester United should easily be sacking managers, I think that Michael Carrick too needs to step up and the first thing is changing this his current playing pattern.
