It showcase the ambitions of the management. They just want to make profits while investing in a rinse and repeat managers who can not win them the Premier League Competition. Because, if we had serious management, they'd have brought in a tactically better manager.

Roy Keane was a huge advocate for this but, the management will always want to do their thing. I sometimes wonder how he is different from Ole Gunner Solskjear.  If he fails to beat Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid, the pressure will increase. He should thank Cunha for getting him a point against Fulham.
I don't think Manchester United management made mistake by giving Michael Carrick the manager job. It would have been unfair to appoint another coach after Carrick has given his best and rescued the club. Xabi Alonso didn't have much experience yet he succeeded at Bayer Leverkusen. Another example is Vincent Kompany at Bayern Munich, who has won the Bundesliga. I think the United coach needs to be given more time to prove his worth. Manchester United was one of the clubs I predicted would win the League this season because of their performance towards the end of last season.

United's spirit last season was indeed good
At the second half tho, after the coming of carrick,

That's the time fans disturbed the world about their savior, a good coach, the best coach this and that, I wouldn't really blame them because he did have an impressive start of his contract.
Now fans are complaining about a bad performance, I honestly can't tell if the fault if from the players or the coach, because the switch is kind of strange to me, same coach same player I find it hard to know what changed.

I think Man United is currently facing the situation as Liverpool last season before their previous coach, Arne Slot was sacked. He was able to lead the club into the biggest phase of their competition and won them the PL trophy. We all expected the next season to be fire and toast for other clubs but what happened? He flopped and lost control totally.

Carrick did well in his debut season for Man United and gained the trust from the team and the fans. Now that tables have turned, he has to deal with that pressure from the expectations and some managers don't make it out flawlessly, especially when they started the season on the left side. He shouldn't get a sack later after all, Man United are slow starters.
Manchester United are not even capable of doing. They possess dull set of management and directors and the same for the confused manager Michael Carrick. Five games and it is obvious he is not the guy he thinks himself. All he benefited, the high pressing and intensity squad was built by Amorim. Can we say the same about intensity this season?
Not particularly. If your claims are that Amorim's squad intensity carried the team throughout last season, are you trying to say that Michael Carrick didn't have any form of influence on that team last season? How do you explain the logic behind the former manager's formations or coaching lines having an effect when there's a new manager who supposedly has his own different approach and on-pitch performance? That doesn't even make any sense.

I don't doubt that he may not be who he thinks of himself, but he has something to show and that's the only reason why he holds his position still. I think he needs sometime to adjust IMO.

Manchester United are not facing same shit, they're facing worse than that and it all boils down to the brutally dull management.  At least Liverpool management can boast of splurging money for quality players even though we won't see signs of potential at first but they mature into the desired project and needs of the club.
This is not true, Michael Carrick is completely different from Ruben Amorim and they have nothing in common at least for last season. There's not pressing team built by Ruben Amorim instead I would say that he suppressed most of the  players effort by playing them at unnatural positions. Michael Carrick took over last season by first returning the players to their natural roles which was the reason behind Bruno Fernandez record assists.

Ruben Amorim preferred Bruno Fernandez pushing backwards same with Amad Dialo who he kept playing defensively, thereby limiting their abilities until Michael Carrick came on board.

I will say that the problem of Michael Carrick now is the return of Rashford to the team, the manager now has many conflicting interests from the management board as we all know that England would want you to play their boy always and it's ruining the team. His formation changed because he's readjusting the team to bring Rashford into the starting lineup which he's not supposed to do.

I'm sure that Michael Carrick will still regain himself and return to his formation which he used to win the hearts of the fans last season, but until then, Manchester United fans will have to face this Rashford consequences.

Yes, the dynamics of football are like that, so it's no wonder yesterday was proud as if it was going to get a new messiah and now feels disappointed because five games in the English Premier League are very bad, many fans ' expectations are broken again here.
I know fans of this Red Devils team very much on social media and I always feel happy when they are yapping everywhere and proud of this team, even making a lot of memorable parodies.

Carrick must start doing something that is not easily predicted by his opponents, especially his less productive attacking players, seeing how the previous Manchester derby was very good for Man United, but unfortunately their front line is really unreliable, someone who bets on this team will surely always be disappointed for the near future.

It's not possible for him to just leave Liverpool, I believe his on a contract and players can't cancel contracts unless it's in mutual agreement with the player and the club to terminate his contract. So technically, even though he wanted to leave, remember his w years into his 4 years deal that he signed, the contract is binding and only the club could allow him to leave. So I really don't see the need to throw insults at him. He has until the summer of 2028 to be a free agent, untill then, then his still very much a Liverpool player.

I really don't know how true this rumor is, because I have not seen it, but I want to make it clear that he can still.be sold in January even if he has a contract with Liverpool. It does not necessarily mean that he has to run out his contract before he can leave the club, if he does not fit into the manager's  plan he will.be told about it and he will be told to look for a club in January or the club puts him up for sale and if a good offer comes in for him, the club can decide to sell him, but they also need him to agree to the move.
Maybe you're missing the other point, I'm not saying he can't be sold. The bone of contention was when he made mention of the player leaving the club and I clearly said a player can't leave a club or terminate his contract without a mutual agreement with the club. The player signed a contract with the club and untill that contract expires, the player is like a property of the club. That's my stands, Slot didn't want to sell him when was the manger and thus, he cannot leave, but rumours has it that this present manager wants to sell and like you said it could happen this January or the summer but my initial point was the player not leaving without an agreement with the club.

Oh yes it's mere rumors and we know how these rumors works. But we're taking a leap of faith to believe that it actually gone through. Calvert Lewin is a sharp Frontline, always turning up for Leeds, bringing himself to deliver an exclusive masterclass for the club he represents. Often I wonder why most of these elite sides haven't come for him? Is he not good enough? I've watched him play and I enjoyed everybit of his football.  A tall attacker like Benjamin Sesko, he has the strength and knows how to position in front of goal.

Manchester United we know is not clinical in their frontlinr, they do not work as a team and when they do, they will need the existence of individual brilliance before they can bang goals and win games. This is hilarious and not consider the way they should follow, rather they should be focused on being a collective team where everyone is involved in the good chemistry of the ball and deliver masterclass individually. We'd see as everything goes when it comes to the transfer window for Manchester United next summer.

Manchester United is certainly a very strong team that knows how to shine and get back to doing well. i have to say that at the moment the team chemistry to play well is not there, but most likely they will return to doing great things and i think they will do it very, very soon. We must give them confidence. Grin.

And I'm sure those clubs are no longer worried about their young player now that they've heard the good news. I personally see him as a talented young player by considering that he has contributed significantly to Cagliari in recent matches. And I hope he won't face any more problems in the future so that he can continue to deliver performances worth watching in the matches to come.

This is truly an unpleasant episode, and i believe that this cannot make a player a bad player, these are mistakes that all of us can make, he was not dead drunk, it was an Italian law that anyone can fall into with a few drinks, this does not make him a bad player for Cagliari.

After seeing Carrick current situation, I think it's better for him to step down. It's not that Carrick is not capable as a coach but the problem is in the club, players, management and fans. The pressure to always be perfect to whoever the coach is is clearly unreasonable. As if being a coach is easy, just look at them always don't want to go through the process and demand instant performance, full of victories, and then win trophies. If Carrick continues to be given such criticism, whoever the coach is, he will never be able to be at Manchester United.
If Carrick quits by himself, no club will accept a manager who runs away from every slight challenge in his job. Managers are meant to be problem solvers, and not cowards who are scared to compete or leave when the road is rough. Carrick also gains experience from all that is happening.
Why will he quite by himself? should the players also quite just because they are not able to get the expected result even in times when they where up in matches? change Carrick and Manchester united will have no option than starting from the scratch again and when things goes wrong yet again they will look for another excuse as to what is causing them to struggle season after season.

It's ironic seeing Manchester united lament because it was clear they needed to sign more players especially with the number of competitions they have but they got a few and thought they were ready, look at them now.

Calvert Lewin is not a bad option as a support and maybe experience but I wonder if his injury woes might get back when he decides to accept this move. While this will be a stepping stone in his career yet if there's any sign of injuries then things might become difficult

I don't think that at a certain point it's enough to hire the best players. They must first be a great team and believe in the project because otherwise they will always be surrounded by players and personalities who don't know how to do well and don't care about the club and this can be seen when a team fails to take off.

If Man Utd lets Carrick go or even fires him, then Man Utd will continue to face the same problems and will just have to start all over again. I think Manchester United should actually try to be patient and give Carrick a chance. Maybe what we’re seeing right now is pretty disappointing. But we know that last season, Carrick was a hero for this team because Manchester United ultimately managed to secure a spot in the Champions League.

I think the problem lies not only with the coach but with the players as well. And to be honest, I’d prefer if Man Utd kept the same squad depth as last season. Carrick should try using the same formation as last season and see if everything can get back on track or not.

Yes, I don't think Carrick is to blame for anything at this point, the fact is that United's summer transfer campaign was extremely poor. While City broke Liverpool's record from the previous year by spending half a billion, United was doing who-knows-what. It goes without saying that United's current position is unjustifiable, though I do think it will be rectified. Unfortunately, however, I see no title ambitions for this season.
I wonder if Fernández anticipated getting relegated when he moved to City? The likelihood of that happening is becoming increasingly strong  Grin

Juventus is trying to bring Neto back after they parted ways with him. This decision sounds weird because he's not even better than DiGregorio, and i also watched how he played at Botafogo, and he's one of worst goal keeper. Do i miss something from him? I believe i don't.

I think Radu deserves more chance instead of bring him back. It's beyond my imagination to see Juve brings someone who became the worst goalie in his previous club.

If neto becomes their goalie, i'm gonna have top 4 as the best target that can be achieve by Juve this season. Can't they bring a world class goalie? What the hell this club is doing now.

So where is the same influence? I mean this is five out of five fixtures and we look terrible. There was nothing much he did,  Amorim would have done that too if he wasn't too stubborn on his three at the back set-up. All Michael Carrick did was recognise the players and played them in their right positions. Let's not forget how Ruben Amorim worked on that squad fitness. Even Casemiro had to drop weight to look ready ahead of the season. He has done his thing last season, gratitude to him, but an extention? You could see he is no different from Ole Gunner. Lol! I'm a football fan before Manchester United fan, I say this things without hate and bias. Amorim wasn't given time, I wonder why you lot are in support of him staying.

It’s always a big risk for a huge club to employ a manager who hasn’t won big trophies. That’s not to say it can’t work but it is clearly a huge risk.

Personally I don’t think he should have been given the job. He came in as an interim manager, steadied the ship and did well. Somebody elite should have been given the full time job though.

There won’t be much patience with him this season, he’ll be judged as a full time coach. He needs to start winning games consistently or he will be sacked, it’s just how it goes at a big club.

Manchester united took the risk but that was justified then. Carrick did well as Interim coach last season. He was able to finish in the champions league spot with them so giving him permanent job after that made sense. I'm not saying they took the right decision but they really have no much better options on the market. The few elite coaches available that time don't seem to have interest in the job and United doesn't want to spend too much either on coaching crew.

Not winning a trophy before is not a valid reason to disqualified him from the job in my opinion because everyone has to start somewhere to become elite someday. We know the story of elite coaches today and where they started from to become who they are today. The problem is not getting the right result. Whether elite coach or inexperienced coach, result is what will save you from losing your job and right now, Carrick future at Manchester united is not looking good.

Why will he quite by himself? should the players also quite just because they are not able to get the expected result even in times when they where up in matches? change Carrick and Manchester united will have no option than starting from the scratch again and when things goes wrong yet again they will look for another excuse as to what is causing them to struggle season after season.
Someone actually mentioned that  Cheesy. It will be a recording breaking if Carrick can put Manchester United team together and able to use them compete for the Premier League title and so many other competitions. As big as United, many managers are ready to leave where they are and move in to United as the new head coach if Carrick is ready to throw in the towel.

Carrick isn't as bad as what is going on in the club, on his defense, i think he needs more time to work with the players, and also the player needs more time to adapt very well to the manager tactics, this is the Premier League and not a farmed leave, every PL team are strong and compete.

Hopefully the club management will give Carrick more time. By doing so, he will have plenty of time to improve his performance. Or at least let him finish this season in his own way. Of course, it will not be easy to avoid pressure from many parties if United’s performance does not quickly improve.
We will definitely see fans and the media continuing to criticize if United’s performance does not improve. This could also put pressure on the club management to make decisions.
Regarding this, I see that Carrick hasn't had much luck this season. I say luck because the rest of the season is very good, and for me, he's lifted the team from the disaster it was before. Considering the previous coaches, it's not easy to turn a team around. In fact, for me, this was the team I saw the most potential in.

I still believe in this team. I know the Premier League is very tough, and this team has a lot to offer. I'm sure that when Carrick manages to correct what's lacking, the results will come when they least expect them. The media and the fans are really tough to deal with, but it's not easy to continue with a project where the process is so demanding. You're in the best league in the world, the most demanding. You have to give a little more time to a coach who understands this.

Manchester United are not facing same shit, they're facing worse than that and it all boils down to the brutally dull management.  At least Liverpool management can boast of splurging money for quality players even though we won't see signs of potential at first but they mature into the desired project and needs of the club.
But Carrick wasn't this way when he started, there is something wrong with which no explanation can be given as to the real situation of Manchester United. Over the years, the club has also spent a lot of money not necessarily under Carrick but under different managers and the problem still persist. If players were bought and managers has been changed and the team still remains the same or worse, what could we say is the problem because as for now, I cannot blame the coach alone. The players should partake in all the blames too.

So this is a United problem, not the manager's because why would a team sack Amorim when they all saw his effort? It's a known thing in football that every coach needs time to adjust, but y'all are so delusional that you started feeling like waiting on the manager was time-wasting.

They don't have a choice now, he left to Ac milan and he's doing good for himself over there. I'm not making this up but it's been proven that the reason why United chosed Carrick was because he's an ex player of the same club with about 12years experience. Tell me the president is dumb without telling me.

Manchester United entrusted the affairs of the club to him, Carrick cannot be so timid as to step down for a problem that might be short-term. Every manager in this condition will be learning to fix the problem rather than thinking of quitting their job.

Are you saying Carrick is bigger than Manchester United? Because the last time I checked, Manchester united brought in Amorim that time when the club was going through alot, he did well like Carrick did well halfway and he was entrusted with the affairs of the club until they sent him parking when things were not going well again and Carrick is now in the same position so Amorim or I should say even worse. He is not doing better in my opinion.

Quote
If Carrick quits by himself, no club will accept a manager who runs away from every slight challenge in his job. Managers are meant to be problem solvers, and not cowards who are scared to compete or leave when the road is rough. Carrick also gains experience from all that is happening.

Didn't Xabi did it with Real Madrid, both parties went their separate ways and Chelsea were quick to appoints him as new Manager. When Amorim was sack, people said lots about him and now he is AC Milan as the head coach. Sometimes, you never can tell exactly what is going in between teams, what this is facing might not be what another team is facing and so the managers.
