Not particularly. If your claims are that Amorim's squad intensity carried the team throughout last season, are you trying to say that Michael Carrick didn't have any form of influence on that team last season? How do you explain the logic behind the former manager's formations or coaching lines having an effect when there's a new manager who supposedly has his own different approach and on-pitch performance? That doesn't even make any sense.

I don't doubt that he may not be who he thinks of himself, but he has something to show and that's the only reason why he holds his position still. I think he needs sometime to adjust IMO.
He has done his thing last season, gratitude to him, but an extention? You could see he is no different from Ole Gunner. Lol! I'm a football fan before Manchester United fan, I say this things without hate and bias. Amorim wasn't given time, I wonder why you lot are in support of him staying.
So this is a United problem, not the manager's because why would a team sack Amorim when they all saw his effort? It's a known thing in football that every coach needs time to adjust, but y'all are so delusional that you started feeling like waiting on the manager was time-wasting.

They don't have a choice now, he left to Ac milan and he's doing good for himself over there. I'm not making this up but it's been proven that the reason why United chosed Carrick was because he's an ex player of the same club with about 12years experience. Tell me the president is dumb without telling me.
You're right that Manchester United problems has nothing to do with the coach and I concur to that because they have hired many managers after the exit of Sir Alex Ferguson but none of those coaches could succeed with the team. Can we say all the coaches were incompetent? I don't think so. Ruben Amorim succeeded at Sporting Lisbon before coming to Manchester United and it's not even like the club was in any good shape before his arrival, tell me why they didn't give him enough time to develop and build the players mentality.

I don't think that Manchester United made Carrick head coach as a result of the experience he had in the last 12 years, besides, this is not his first time as interim coach but the reason why United made him a permanent coach is obviously because of his performance for the team last season.

What i expected from the board of Manchester United was giving him a team that's worthy of competiting wel  in multiple competitions but they only focus on the midfield and signed players that won't even qualify to start for Manchester City or Arsenal, then left the defense with inexperienced and injury proned players, you could imagine having Luke Shaw as a leftback in 2026, maybe they felt that carrick is a magician, he might have his own flaws but the board is to be blamed?

If i were Amorim i would've resigned before they even sacked me cause i can't work with players that doesn't suit my strategy or a board that plays deaf when i request for a good structure. They sacked him, fine! Then Carrick came in and did his best to take them back to the Champions League, then when he needed a proper squad, Glaziers/Ineos turned their backs, who's to be blamed for the shit going on, Carrick?

You are very correct with your observation, Initially the coming from bench of Benjamin Sesko looks like something that wasn't serious, more like come and complete the rest of the game, fortunate whenever he comes in especially around the closing time of the second half, he usually makes impact, but as things went on, it suddenly became a pattern, Cunhan looked like the missing piece and it went on like that till end of last season, and it's part of the reason why Manchester United did not go for new striker because it was looking as though they had a formidable team that will start the next season without a problem giving the result they had last season.

A person's seriousness cannot be judged with just a few games. Manchester United is a team that can surprise, and can do so again. i don't think it takes a short time, on the contrary, we need to keep going. We need to go much further and we need many more games.
This can really bring out what the team is.

To all Chelsea fans here, your boy is on Barcelona's radar. I remember Estevao showed his disappointment during his interview by said that he might not be staying in the club due to the lacking of playing time. So i see Barcelona is seeing a loophole to explore his move.
I have to be honest i also feel bad with how pragmatic Xabi by giving him fewer minutes, then put everything onto the Neto's shoulder. But i think he deserves minutes with so many potential he showed after he joined the club.

So Chelsea may let him to go the Barcelona if they cannot give him what he wanted, but i'd see an option to loan him as the best choice if they can't utilize him due to the 343 tactic often used by Xabi.
They must not let him go, then repeat the same mistake they did to Olise who became on of best winger in the world this time.

Juventus is trying to bring Neto back after they parted ways with him. This decision sounds weird because he's not even better than DiGregorio, and i also watched how he played at Botafogo, and he's one of worst goal keeper. Do i miss something from him? I believe i don't.

I think Radu deserves more chance instead of bring him back. It's beyond my imagination to see Juve brings someone who became the worst goalie in his previous club.

If neto becomes their goalie, i'm gonna have top 4 as the best target that can be achieve by Juve this season. Can't they bring a world class goalie? What the hell this club is doing now.
I don't think you have a clue about what is going on with Neto because your message makes no sense. Juventus' second goalkeeper, Grabara, recently injured himself and he is going to be out pretty much for the whole season, so the only other goalkeeper (besides Vicario of course) was Pinsoglio, who probably played 5 matches in the last 3 years.

And if you're talking about Ionuț Radu, he is under contract with Celta Vigo, and the transfer window is closed, so clubs are only allowed to sign free-agent players now.

I wonder who he'll be going to bench at Barcelona if he moves over there, he'll still go over there to fight for first team position, someone like Rashford couldn't end secure first team post talk more of him, he's talented no doubt but Barcelona currently have better players in his position which leave him with no option than coming from the bench or hope they get injured.
Moving on from Chelsea should be to a club that would guarantee him first team position. Chelsea's always open to selling their player if the right amount is given, they're good at that business so if Barcelona can pay what they need then Estêvão Willian becomes there's.
As for Olise, he never made it through the youth team cause then Chelsea had players that made it tough for an opportunity to be granted to him.

I wouldn't say board is solely to blame.
United's issue have reached some point where manager, recruitment, squad profile and board structure are all intertwined.

If there aren't player suited to Amorim's system then his tactics are bound to face difficulty.
Same time, a manager also needs to adapt somewhat to squad available to them.

Carrick is currently facing similar situation.
After strong run last season, recent string of poor result makes it clear that simply changing manager doesn't make underlying problem disappear.

They have been the major problem of Manchester United, let them sell the club to someone who's ready to invest and make changes to the club, they refused. Two years ago, we heard the rumours that an Arab billionaire wanted to acquire Manchester United, why they didn't sell it is what I don't know. As for Amorim's sacking, according to my friends who are Manchester United fans, they keep on joking that the club should employ Amorim again and sack him on the spot again. They really detest him because of the negative records his kept for the club. I agree with you on the point you made concerning Carrick been picked as the coach after his performance of last season.

It would be very dangerous for Xabi if Estavao really left because even though Xabi is not making it a long-term plan at the moment but some fans even me who are not fans see the potential of this player as quite extraordinary. Not only in terms of dribbles but his speed is good enough that he is still very worthy of being given flying hours.

But Xabi still believes in his plan to keep pushing Nero and Morgan Rogers even though it cannot be denied that Morgan Rogers ' performance is not too bad but it is not worth the price.

Estevai still hasn't got a big chance to be in the squad because of the competition but I'm pretty sure Chelsea should try to keep this player because with his age and his current form, he will be quite dangerous when given minutes.

I have to be honest i also feel bad with how pragmatic Xabi by giving him fewer minutes, then put everything onto the Neto's shoulder. But i think he deserves minutes with so many potential he showed after he joined the club.

There was hint a few weeks that Estevao was not happy wey his playing time so far under Xabi Alonso, a few weeks after it was again said that he really want to prove himself under the new manager. I think with this rumor now the management will get involve in this, Xabi will consider playing Estevao more now. It still a long season and every players will have time to prove themselves.

Estevao is a good player, he have shown last season what he is capable of with the ball. He is a good dribbler and also very good in front of goal. But he should go to Barcelona, with Yamal playing from that wing, i still feel he will struggle to get playing time when he move to Barcelona.

You're right that Manchester United problems has nothing to do with the coach and I concur to that because they have hired many managers after the exit of Sir Alex Ferguson but none of those coaches could succeed with the team.
I don’t really know where Manchester United problem is coming from. Last season Manchester United performance was so poor, and they ended up sacking Amorim, and they signed Carrick, Manchester United performed so well under Carrick last season, but we are in a new season, and Manchester United performance has not been so good this season, they have been struggling to win matches, and currently they are at the middle of the table.

I don’t even know who to blame for Manchester United poor performance right now, because I don’t really think the fault is from the coach anymore, maybe they just having some internal issues which they haven’t been able to resolve.

It showcase the ambitions of the management. They just want to make profits while investing in a rinse and repeat managers who can not win them the Premier League Competition. Because, if we had serious management, they'd have brought in a tactically better manager.

Roy Keane was a huge advocate for this but, the management will always want to do their thing. I sometimes wonder how he is different from Ole Gunner Solskjear.  If he fails to beat Tottenham Hotspur and Atletico Madrid, the pressure will increase. He should thank Cunha for getting him a point against Fulham.
It is so unfortunate that you think United problem is from the managers. Amorim came to United, he helped United reach the Europa League final, but later lost. The following season, fans started criticizing him for United's poor performance. Now same as Carrick, he took over from Amorim, helped United qualify for UCL after many years of missing out. Now, he is being criticize for United's poor performance. I am starting to believe that United has developed the Chelsea mentality of sacking managers just because he performed poorly for a few times .

You seem to have forgotten that this is the same Carrick that made United look unstoppable last season, now you think he can't win the EPL. All teams in the EPL has their own lapses. That aside, Manchester United problem is from the players, the defence has been very leggy right from the start of the season, the management could do more to improve the defence in January.

If United continue with this mentality of changing managers every season, they won't win trophies. Look at Arsenal, they have been consistent for seasons with a single manager, now they are the best team in Europe.

The only way he stays in Chelsea is if Xabi recognizes his importance and starts giving him enough time to play because a player like him who is used to playing in Brazil from where he joined Chelsea, not playing at this point in his career where he is sharp, active, skillful and should be competing with the likes of Yamal etc, is not good for him at all. There are many players already in Barcelona but it is possible that if Hansi Flick wants him then he would find a way to play him alongside other players in the team as he has done with Anthony Gordon and Adeyemi who just joined Barcelona.

I was expecting to see this for long because this player in question is not the type of player Chelsea FC cherish, they will prefer a player that have experience and has played in so many teams, they don’t want to reveal the potential of young talents just as Barcelona used to do, therefore, the player Estivao will find a greener pasture for his football career because the premier league is a place with a very hard tackles and tactics, he will struggle to survive in the premier leagues that is why Alons is trying not to waste him, he used him as a sub to be given him plying time; but if Barcelona wants him, I I’ll equally advice him to move to Barcelona even though he will have to wait for Yamal to finish his time before he can have access to the first team.

Barcelona will be the best fit for him to play. He has a lot to learn in football. Barcelona is always the dominant team. It will give Estevao the privilege to prey on the underdogs in LaLiga.

In the Premier League, a winger has to track back to help the defense. And Estevao is not that type of winger with a defensive mentality while attacking. Chelsea doesn't need him for now. A loan deal will be reasonable instead of a buy option.

I know this is rumour for sure but having possible links with Barcelona, I don't think Estavao will go to a team where he will have to compete for his position like he's doing in Chelsea. Exiting Chelsea and going to Barcelona, what differences does it make? I don't see anything solid happening because both sides are very competitive.

On the contrary, Xabi Alonso should start making more chances for the Brazilian to be given playing time because if he doesn't do that, we should as well as see Chelsea allowing their rare gem exits. I've watch this player play for Chelsea and I must confess, he's extraordinary with the ball, players like Estavao are very scarce in football.

If we look at the problem, Man United issues are much deeper than just the coach. After SAF retired, the club kept changing managers from Moyes, Van Gaal, Mourinho, Solskjaer, Ten Hag, to Amorim, but the results always stayed bad. Last season Carrick as interim coach managed to lift Man United to third place and back to the UCL, but after Carrick was appointed as the main coach they actually started the season poorly, leaving them in the middle of the table.

After looking at the series of coaches and players who have been at Man United, we can conclude that maybe the first mistake is of course because they have deep-rooted problems in their internal structure. Besides that, SAF only passed on the trophies but not the playing philosophy. Also, most fans don’t really criticize but rather terrorize the players themselves which I think is also a big factor. You can see this with the players who left Man United they played well at their new clubs. All of this is because the players play freely.

Honestly, it will just be the same thing he is facing at Chelsea that will happen at Barcelona, if not worse. They already have a full set of attackers and I don't see it being favoured over Yamal so moving to Barcelona will be a wrong choice. It will be the same thing he's running from he'll meet there.

I don't even see any reason why a young player like that would be having this mentality of changing clubs because of playing time. He had more minutes last season but due to new coach being appointed a slight change in formation Alonso is not a able to create space for him yet, it's best for the coach because he needs to gain his footing first to be comfortable so Estevao needs to just exercise a little patient.
There could be injuries and the season still very long so definitely he will have time to play more.

If he insists on leaving Chelsea will definitely sell him if the team is able to bring the agreed fee. I really don't want him to go but whatever happens I wish him well in his career.

Extevao Williams is an experience player that should not be underrated by his team, because I Know they have other players that are as good as him, I believe benching him will only reduce is talent and making him lease valued compare to where he is coming from.
Xabier is an experienced coach and should know what is uptainable at a time like and not leave Extevao like that for too long as this can affect his career badly. The more his is given opportunity to play is how well and he will become.
