Arda Güler is a player who has deserved the starting shirt in Real Madrid, because he is a very young midfielder but with a head on his shoulders, who knows how to play for the team and with a phenomenal foot.
And despite his young age, he has gained the necessary experience and determination that must be given to a true Madrid player.
His performance this season has been superb so far. Arda Guler is the future of Real Madrid because even at his young age, he plays better than a lot of players playing his position. Mourinho might not have confidence in Endrick and that's why, he hasn't used him because there are experienced, quality and matured players playing the same position. Guler is a good ball distributor, a goal assistant and a scorer. There are some players that their performance can't be overlooked and Guler is that kind of player moreover as an attacking midfielder, there's lots of opportunities that would be given to him cause the people playing his position are not a tough competition, compared to Endrick that has Mbappé to deal with. Even as talented as Endrick i doubt if any manager would replace Mbappé with him, Kylian Mbappé is a proven world class player but Endrick is not up to his standards yet, he has the potential to be great but until then Mbappé would always start, except in minor league competition against weaker teams.

What happened to Enrick is really sad. He came from Palmeiras as a Brazilian wonderkid touted as Pelé's successor, but after going to Madrid, he ended up just being a bench warmer for Real Madrid. Even after Madrid changed coaches four times Endrick's fate stayed the same.
Then eventually Endrick was loaned to Lyon. There, he once again showed performances that made Madrid want to take him back and Endrick also wanted to return instead of staying at Lyon so he could get playing time and prove his abilities. Maybe Endrick wants to come back because Mourinho offered him as an alternative to Mbappé as a central striker and as one of the main options on the right wing, since Mourinho doesn't see Silva or Fede Valverde as options in that position. Maybe this is what makes Endrick confident he can get playing time with Madrid, which made him choose to return to Real Madrid. But whatever it is, I hope Endrick has thought it through carefully so he wont regret it later, because getting a spot at Madrid isn't easy especially with Mbappé being a priority player in the team.
I see in Hendrik a very talented young boy, but who perhaps has gotten a little too carried away. In fact, if we look at Hendrik's plays, he tends to be a very solitary player, who tends to seek personal action even a little excessively. And i believe that is the quality that distinguishes him, but the same one that does not make him a team player and of interest to the coach.

Naturally, unless Mbappé suffers a long-term injury, Endrick won't be able to play in his place. In fact, Carlos Espi is in excellent form right now and would be the preferred choice over Endrick. If I were in the Brazilian's shoes, I would consider going out on loan for another year before the transfer window closes while Mastantuono and Paz are finding their match fitness, Endrick is suffering a psychological toll.

What the hell is going on here? This Ronaldo drama feels more like PR instead of someone who got abandoned by his club. Ronaldo should be more wiser because he's an old man. Mmm... you really cracked me up when you compared Neto to Ronaldo. In terms of status, those players are from different universes (yes, I know everyone is supposedly equal and all that, but we live in the real world). Overall, I'm a big fan of Ronaldo, but I'm also tired of this endless drama and I'm waiting for him to officially retire so I don't have to go into threads and see a billion messages about him (damn it, in several threads at once, although they don't seem to be dedicated to him). But I wouldn't be surprised if even after his official retirement we'll be bombarded with a thousand more news items about him. After all, he's a giant brand, and everyone (media, journalists, influencers, etc.) is trying to profit from him.

Honestly Endrick is a laughable player. It's hard to understand the way he's thinking about his career. He started to gain his form when he loaned to the Lyon and why doesn't he ask his club to extend his loan?
I was quite surprised by that move as well, but IIRC, Mourinho is the culprit here [he persuaded him to stay and I assume it's not that hard to manipulate an inexperienced player]. - Speaking of Mourinho, I remember a few months back there was a rumor that Real was considering Arteta (and another coach) as candidates for replacing Mourinho if results weren't that good, but Arteta just extended his deal until 2030 (source).

How can you be mentioning players like Neto in comparison to Ronaldo about him being treated that way. Players of his status/caliber are not meant to be disrespected that way. If the coach knew he wasn’t going to play him then why tell me him to warm up. And also why make promises to him and then go publicly to say a different thing. Promises were broken and Ronaldo was not happy about that. Both parties have their fault, but he shouldn’t still be disrespected that way. Mmm... you really cracked me up when you compared Neto to Ronaldo. In terms of status, those players are from different universes (yes, I know everyone is supposedly equal and all that, but we live in the real world). I’m seriously tired too, going into the internet, seeing threads or even having having physical discussion/arguments about this whole saga. Like sometimes I just imagine how people can easily tend to forget about what this man have done this nation. We know for a fact that no one is bigger that a football club/nation, but seeing him being disrespected that way is really bad. I just wish he had retired from the national team after the World Cup.

When you are talking about Ronaldo or any legend player you should know how to talk about them, Ronaldo is different from pedro Neto and all the players in Portugal, you can not tell Ronaldo or Messi to warm up without playing, why are we even talking as if we don’t know how powerful and what these players bring to football? Ronaldo have the right to do what he did because a promise was broken, the coach has no right to tell him to warm up without playing him. If you read and listen to the statement of Ronaldo you will not blame him for what he did, although his actions is not and he also said that he deserved to be punished for living the national team, he said he is ready to face any consequences for his actions, if you remember Carlo Ancelotti press conference in 2023 when he did not played Luca modric in a match, he said that he can not asked modric to warm up if he can not play him because he respects him, that shows that a coach should know how to treat legends, some people will see this as something bad because it is Ronaldo, it’s something that they can settle among themselves with the coach.

Young players of lately lack patience, back then youngsters where happy to be substitutes of senior players and wait for their time but lately everyone wants to be the main guy even when they're not ready or equal to the task. Endrick is not even a main player in the Brazil national team, I wonder why he thinks he'll bench Mbappé. When the rumors of Arteta being considered to replace Mourinho was trending, I didnt take it seriously cause I knew he won't leave Arsenal yet nor the owner allow him leave, not after Arsenal is finally looking like a team that would dominate the Premier league, his contract extension is a warning for Real Madrid to stay off or wait till 2030.

Chelsea made new signings in the defense this transfer window with Lacroix and Palestra and that was quite a good addition to the team but there is still the absence of an experienced defender in the team. More defenders like Reece James is needed in the Chelsea to maintain composure and steady their foot play.
The absence of Enzo Fernandes has also affected them greatly too, even with Rogers in the team, because Reece James is now playing a displayed position and that has affected their pattern of playing.
Chelsea did bring in some defenders, but I still think the formation the manager is playing is not helping the team. Lacroix is a premier league proven defender, but he has not hit the ground running which has also affected the team. Chelsea still need more defender and midfielders if they really want to do better this season. Right now they have a good attacking players and they are depending a lot on these few players, so when these players are not having a good game, it definitely affects their game. I know they are a young team and they can oy get better with time.

I've said before that Endrick has to be realistic and take his chances when he's young. Luck and a good career do not always have to be in Madrid, the situation and the era are different now. If he wants to prove that he is a quality player and has the skills, why wait in line at Madrid where the chances are small? there's still a way he can go. Once again it's a matter of choice and Endrick himself will feel the consequences of his decision later.

The force driving Ronaldo is to accomplish his goal. Everything else doesn't matter to him.
Ronaldo's long-time goal of achieving 1000 goals before retirement looks like it might take him this season to accomplish that because next season might be his retirement year according to recent speculations and he would want to end his football career heroically without a doubt. His saga with the Portugal team is really heartbreaking and a disrespect to his name, he deserves better from the coach and his teammates. Whether Ronaldo achieves 1000 goals or not, he’s still one of the best players to ever touch a football. I understand that for someone like him, setting high goals is what keeps him motivated, however, it’s okay to reach them. If he is ready to calm down and work with the manager, then he will have a good stay in the team and retire honourably.
You mean a good stay on the bench. Jorge Jesus is only trying to come across as innocent in the media because he doesn’t want any blame to be on him. Luckily for him, the team has been doing well since Ronaldo left, and there won’t be any backlash if they continue to do so.

Honestly Endrick is a laughable player. It's hard to understand the way he's thinking about his career. He started to gain his form when he loaned to the Lyon and why doesn't he ask his club to extend his loan? He came back to the Madrid only for getting sidelined by Mourinho. They have Espi, Diomande even Brahim diaz who rarely got minutes. So how can he get minutes now? I meant he's often being deployed as winger instead of striker. So he has to realize he no longer has place in Madrid. Being so obsessed to stay is only killing his career. He shall ask his club to let him go as loan at winter window or sell him permanently to the other club. They have to stop treat him like a deadwook on the bench. What a disappointment from him. I believe things don't change for him. He has to leave, and learnt from what happened to the Odegaard when he unable to break into the staring line up of Madrid's los galacticos, then decided move to Arsenal. Like seriously, if I'm in the shoes of this guy, I will not come back to Real Madrid with the intentions of staying back in the club. I will want to go for another loan to enable me build myself the more because there's no way I would be picked over a player like Mbappe at least not yet, so I would be requesting for another loan and not hoping on some blind hopes. Look at Nico Pac, he keeps increasing his mark values and playing attributes, soonest Real Madrid will buy him back that's why they put a clause on his sale.

This deal though would make things difficult but still cannot rule out anything because once Mourinho contract expires or he gets relieved off his duties which I do expect because Mourinho wasn’t actually a manager for long term. If Real Madrid wants they would just pay off his clause with Arsenal. The only problem will be convincing Arteta to leave Arsenal which dearly loves

Well he is 42 in February. All good things come to an end so it really isn’t that much of a surprise that his time with the international team is coming to an end. He has had an amazing career, one of the greatest ever but eventually age catches up with everybody.
What is the tendency of Jorge Jesus getting sacked? If the coach is bringing the team to win majority of their matches and could contend exhaustively in any competition, the manager cannot be fired. Ronaldo like you said will be turning 42, in about five months, he has more to lose than the coach, emotions aside, let's hope Ronaldo comes to realise that this could be his own fare well, and is definitely disheartening that the mighty is badly treated (he takes some of the blame). In the wildest dream, Jorge Jesus would be sacked . I wouldn't believe it either, even if it was a dream. Jorge Jesus is backed by Portugal. Hereby, above all players in his care. Any player who doesn't want to work under him will leave the team. Roberto Martínez didn't get instant results as the head coach of Portugal. It took him some time to win the UEFA Nations League in 2024-2025. Portugal can still win the Euros or the Nations League under Jorge Jesus. It is just a matter of time.

Ronaldo should already get retired the back and forth is getting too much and it is bringing disrespect to him, what else does he wants to achieve in football at his age that he hasn't gotten, he should take the bow now that the ovation is louder. I know one of the reason why he left the Portuguese camp during the international duty was as a result of the fact that he was disrespected and he felt aggrieved. I understand that he wants to get more national cabs, this is to help boost is achievement on national duties, but age is one factor that has been drawing him backwards, Lionel Messi is a junior agewise, and he has decided to throwing in the towel, is high time Ronaldo does the same.

I think Endrick is making the right decision. Arda Güler stayed at Real Madrid and fought for playing time, but if he had gone to another club, he could have gained more experience by now. Real Madrid doesn’t provide a suitable environment for young players. What’s more, some players get more chances even when they perform poorly. This calls into question the competition for playing time for everyone. I think Endrick is doing what’s best for his own development. I don’t feel sorry for him; I see him as a fighter who isn’t afraid of new challenges...
I don't think he made the right decision returning to Madrid, he was already having a good time at Lyon. Arda Guler case is different, he joined Madrid the time Toni Kroos and Modric were already talking of retirment, so he had no competition as such had the chance of proving himself. As for Endrick, he joined Madrid when Mbappe was already at his best. Endrick was then inevitably dropped to the bench. There's no way Endrick can fight for the CF position with a player like Mbappe. He should go find another club where he can get enough play time.

I was quite surprised by that move as well, but IIRC, Mourinho is the culprit here [he persuaded him to stay and I assume it's not that hard to manipulate an inexperienced player]. - Speaking of Mourinho, I remember a few months back there was a rumor that Real was considering Arteta (and another coach) as candidates for replacing Mourinho if results weren't that good, but Arteta just extended his deal until 2030 (source).I was definitely expecting Arsenal to extend Arteta’s contract because to be honest with how Arsenal have been performing I do expect the likes of Real Madrid to actually be attracted to Arteta. This deal though would make things difficult but still cannot rule out anything because once Mourinho contract expires or he gets relieved off his duties which I do expect because Mourinho wasn’t actually a manager for long term. If Real Madrid wants they would just pay off his clause with Arsenal. The only problem will be convincing Arteta to leave Arsenal which dearly loves I doubt there's anyone anywhere in the world that wasn't expecting Arsenal to extend Mikel Arteta's contract with the club. It's been long anticipated the deal will run till 2030 so it's safe to say that Mikel Arteta still has four more years to spend as Arsenal manager. Haven't read any news from any confirmed source that Real Madrid are interested in the Spanish manager. Jose Mourinho is in charge at the moment and even if he underperforms and Real Madrid decides to get a new manager, I doubt they'll go for Mikel Arteta.

I also think he's making the wrong choice. Endrick could play for many teams around the world. By staying at Real Madrid, he's just wasting his career. At his age, he needs to be playing regularly, not sitting on the bench. He can't develop just by training. He absolutely must go to a team where he can play more than 30 games in a season. Otherwise he'll be one of those promising young players who go to waste. I think he has big potential, only if he can realize it in the field. I think Aston Villa might be a better option than Roma. Playing in the Premier League would benefit him more. He needs to make a better career planning. I wouldn't think much on Aston Villa offer, it's a great deal for both parties.

It’s easy to talk about which team you should have bet on after the game is already over, isn't it? What do you say about Guler? He and Endrick used to sit on the bench together, and I remember how, two years ago, everyone joked that Güler had logged more minutes for the Turkish national team than for Real Madrid. For some reason, nobody is saying now that it was a mistake for Güler to sit on the bench instead of heading off into the depths of Ligue 1 or somewhere else. In my view, both players made the right move, the only difference is that Endrick's bet didn't pay off, while Güler's did. I wouldn't say the game is over, I prefer to say that that is a movie we've already seen in the past: Endrick joined Real Madrid in 2024, and he barely played. Then 2025, same story, he barely plays and he went to Lyon in January. Now this is the third year, same old story: no summer transfer, he stays and doesn't play. Is it a surprise? Maybe the first time, not the third. I still haven't understood what you have to say about Güler His bet paid off, so we aren't going to discuss his strategy (which was no different from Endrick's) at all? It is clear that the game isn't over for Endrick, but one can assume with a high degree of certainty that it is over for him at Real Madrid. Unfortunately, he didn't quite reach the level required at Real (though he might still develop - who knows?), but that shouldn't stop him from finding a spot at other good club. He’s only 20, his best years are still ahead of him. In essence, he is already at a very high level - a Brazil international, he just needs to make some progress, and everything will be fine. You don't necessarily have to be a Real Madrid player to make history. Guler's situation was different in my opinion because he was dealing with way less competition than Endrick: if Mbappé and Vinicius are available, they are going to play, there is no discussion about that, so just for this reason Endrick's space would always be very limited. And this year there also is Diomande, the most expensive player in Real Madrid's history. And I'm not even mentioning Rodrygo, Brahim Diaz and Carlos Espí. Guler, on the other hand, was fighting for a spot with Valverde, Tchouaméni and Camavinga (I'm not counting Bellingham because he would always play), so his chances of being in the starting eleven were considerably higher. Valverde's performances have been quite erratic during the last years and the two French men are not exactly Real Madrid material at this point. That's why, in my opinion, is not possible to place the two players on the same page.
