Isn't this one of Manchester United's biggest mistakes? You can't expect this team to become successful overnight; if they could, they wouldn't be in this situation right now. But the club management and fans want the team's quality to suddenly improve in just 3-5 matches and propel them to the top of the league. Achieving this is nearly impossible; with the current squad quality and playing system, I don't expect them to succeed. Every manager only manages to establish a good system by the end of the season after taking over, and we see failures in teams that rush things
I think we have given this team more than enough time to win something better. When was the last time Manchester United won 5 matches in a row, is that too big to ask for. Any team that can't win 5 matches without a loss can't win a league, that's the pure truth. How long are they going to stay low before they come out better, to think that think coming from right when Ten was the manager and nothing has change. Any fan that crashout have a reason to do so. If there is a way for the team to do better, the club management need to take decision now. They can't sit around watching everything collapsed and then bring another innocent coach to come fix this, it's already getting out of hand.

It's as if this club no longer wants to win trophies'and that's exactly what the management wants. Amazingly, they've managed to spin it all to make it seem as though they're about to bounce back. Carrick, the coach who stepped up when management asked him to fill the role left vacant by Amorim's firing, has provided the answers. This season, I don't blame Carrick for Manchester United's performance, because it's impossible for someone like Carrick to change his strategy by putting players in positions that aren't their natural ones.
Over the years Manchester United have made totally wrong choices, they are simply now paying for all these absurd choices made over the years, as always something goes wrong and then everything goes wrong and it takes time to fix. And it also takes courage, because to fix things, you have to make a complete clean sweep.

I remember saying Michael Carrick should not be given the managerial job, but a lot of Manchester United fans in this thread supported the club in giving him the job. I'll even share a compilation video showing Manchester United fans worldwide asking the club to grant Carrick the job immediately when last season ended. Those fans are now demanding he get sacked.

I seriously cannot remember under which manager Manchester United last won 5 matches in a row not to talk of the year, last season when Carrick was hot as a manager, he almost made by winning 4 but couldn't make in 5/5 that's why that Manchester United fan hair is still on after making that pledge. With how the team is, then I'm damn sure this year will also be added because they will not win 5/5 matches this season anymore.

There is a manager that Manchester United will bring in this season they will win 5 matches straight. Winning 5 matches is not a big deal. Rumor has it that they are in discussions with Antonio Conte. If they successfully bring him to Manchester United, winning 5 straight matches this season is very possible for Manchester United. All they have to do is recruit players by January and they are good to go. But if they remain under Carrick for the entire season, they will not win 5 straight matches.

Don't forget that in the past we have hyped a lot of coaches that was rumored to be signed into Manchester United but when they became the coach we couldn't see half of what we expected of them so actually know matter the coach they are about to sign you shouldn't conclude yet on what he would do because he could also become like those other coaches that could not shoulder the problem in the club and besides there is know achievements in wining 5 streak matches if they're going to fall later on so actually what Manchester United should aim at is a productive longer lasting performance from their coach.

After Carrick's appointment, United played at the level of Arsenal/City, and it seems they even had the best points in that period. What is so surprising about the fact that, based on those results, everyone supported Carrick’s appointment? By the way, remind me what arguments you had against his appointment? I can’t think of any rational ones. It’s easy to talk now, since we already know the current results, but at the end of last season, we didn’t have that information.

Bringing in a new manager when they have the same players will do them no good. Bruno Fernandez, Harry Maguire, Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw needs to leave the team and fresh players needs to be recruited then the manager will be free to do his job without favouring a particular player who thinks he can't play from the bench. If Conte is appointed as the new manager the team will still not win any trophies if you desire for them to win five matches they can do it but after that what have they achieved, the management should be ready to offload most of the players and then spend big money to sign new players it they want the team to survive if not they will be at the bottom before the end of the season.

Although Chelsea is not in UCL, but their long term project sounds more promising with Xabi is in the club. So Chelsea can put less effort to sign him from Bournemouth while Liverpool can go to sign Camara from Benfica. If Chelsea can pull off this transfer in January, it's going to massively strengthens their team because Alex Scott is a quality player with a lot of promise. The only challenge they might have is Bournemouth valuation of him, because I know that Bournemouth will want to do everything possible to get the best deal out of him, but since the player only favours Chelsea move, it's going to put Bournemouth in a disadvantage position during negotiations in January. Chelsea can pull off this transfer. Bournemouth's owner already told us about the fact player wants a move to Chelsea while they try to keep him far longer, but it seems their new offer potentially gets rejected by him. I think his explanation is truly showing us Scot's intention to go to Chelsea. The only problem does Chelsea keen to pay 100m for him? that's the biggest obstacle for now. I guess Scot to Chelsea is 100% if Chelsea is accept to pay 100m for him.

Five games in a row?! That has got to be the bare minimum honestly. We should be bothered over not winning the Premier League Competition in years but five game's in a row I what you're simply after? Well, you're no Manchester United fan and I don't expect you to understand the struggle. Just keep on going writing whatever you like about Manchester United. But damn right, last time we got five wins out of five wins has got to be during the first season with Erik ten Hag if my brain cells still serves me right. Bournemouth trashed a thriving AC Milan I hope they do just the same against Manchester United. I will be betting against Manchester United come Sunday fixture against Bournemouth.

It’s being reported that representatives from Arsenal and Liverpool were closely watching Batrakov during the match against Lille. He’s a talented young player who may have caught the attention of Premier League clubs. Batrakov has a £50 million release clause in his contract. When I saw that figure, I thought to myself that no club would pay £50 million or more for him. If they do, Galatasaray should sell him immediately.

With the way things are going now I think the deal with Chelsea is going to happen, they will sign Alex Scott by all means no matter how much he's worth, I believe Chelsea will spend even if they need to spend up to 100m. Wouldn't be bad if Chelsea can still buy Camara as well just the way they with the Caicedo and Lavia deal to deny Liverpool from getting any of them. Regardless of what happens they will try everything possible to get at least of them to make up for Enzo Fernandez space.

I don't understand how a team like Manchester United can struggle so much to string together a win in a row with the players they have available. Perhaps there have been too many changes over the years both in managers and players or perhaps they have lost the identity of that fantastic team they were up until 2015. Football today is all about money, but teams like Paris saint germain have managed to build incredible, formidable squads by instilling a winning mentality, and that’s what United are lacking. Is it time to bring in Antonio Conte?

If the fee seems too much then we might want to find an alternative except maybe he pusg for the move himself and the team decides to let him off a bit cheaper. I don't know much about him but the fact that most and if not all the players sold by Bournemouth has been doing quite well I would have questioned the move. Regardless, I anticipate more signing including for the backline.

At this moment I really don't know what to say anymore, I think they should just sell off the club to probably an Arab billionaire who has sole ownership, maybe decision making will be different in terms of acquiring players and also the ability of spending during the transfer market, please pardon my suggestion mate, it's just that at this moment as a United fan, I have nothing else to think or say because we have tried everything and it all failed.

Jose won 3 trophies at Manchester United, 2 league cup and 1 Europa league. Since Ferguson left, I think Jose is one of the most successful managers at Manchester United. The club have not been itself over the decades, it been from one manager to another, from one poor run of seasons to another. We all know Manchester United problems lies far beyond the managers, the management have contributed to where the club is today.
We saw Carrick did well last season when he took over, but then this season now he have barely just won one premier league game. Even though we blame the management, we should blame Carrick as well, he have been handling the team poorly lately.
Oh God, I don't know if it's one of the best, Manchester United took 4 slaps at Como, and let's be clear, Como is a team with almost no footballing history, nothing compared to the great Manchester United, the red furies. In fact, I still can't explain this result today. I don't know about you.

A furious lose by Como is obviously mounting all of pressure to the Carrick. It seems the management is also feeling he's not right man to continue the job, and we have several names circulating linked to them.
1. Naglesmann
2. Conte ~ I'm wondering people opinion in here which the best coach to replace MU at this moment. Conte sounds the best candidate.
Nagelsmann? I’m sure that a month after his appointment, conflicts will break out in the dressing room, and Nagelsmann himself will end up arguing with everyone who criticizes him. Conte is a more suitable option, but United is not a good fit for him. Do you remember how he left Tottenham? He practically echoed Ronaldo’s interview, criticizing the club from top to bottom. I would of course like to see this sequel, with Conte repeating everything Ronaldo (and Conte himself at Tottenham) said, but now at United, it would be very funny, but still, in a practical sense, no. Well, Conte has a strong character and usually he always fights with the management when he doesn't get what he wants. He's always been like that, he's not going to change. Usually he is able to get 110% from his players, it's not a coincidence that his teams usually over-perform compared to the quality of the players, but he's not easy to manage. Could he be a solution for United? On paper, yes, I see him as a better fit compared to Nagelsmann, who is extremely overrated in my opinion.

I do think that you have asked a question and answer it yourself, the idea of Gyokeres and Havertz is that Arteta prioritize the playing pattern of not using a standing striker rather than a false nine who would bring other players into play and that’s why Harvetz has more playing time than Gyokeres this season.
The stats about Gyokeres having more goals last season than Kai Havertz is because the German was mostly out injured last season and Gyokeres was the starting striker then plus was on penalties too when Saka was out or even on the pitch. But since last season we all saw that Arteta did prefers Havertz over Victor Gyokeres even by starting him in the biggest matches of the season like the champions league final
Honestly, whenever I watch German players, I'm always struck by how they adapt to the false 9 role, given how structured German football usually is. Traditionally, they're very strict about roles: a defender is a defender, and a pure striker is a striker. So adapting to a fluid concept like the false 9 isn't always straightforward. I know Arteta understands this profile well, and using it selectively makes tactical sense. Still, I think Havertz is getting prioritized right now for the reason you mentioned to give him momentum and confidence. He's got real quality, and it's about time he steps up and delivers something big for the team.

Lol, we will know when they win 5 matches in a row. You still remember that guy keeping his hair and promise to barb only after Manchester united wins 5 matches straight? The challenge is still on after more than 2 years now but unfortunately the guy is still keeping bushy hair because of Manchester united inability to win five straight games. That's how bad Manchester united have become. It's ridiculous to be seeing Manchester united and winning league in the same sentence now. They never belong to each other and the best they can do now is to avoid relegation. I have said it before that anyone willing to take that job now is willing to work under pressure.

The last coach who can do this is when Ten Hag served as coach and even then not in 1 competition but in 2 competitions but forget it because the focus is back to Carrick. At the moment most even for Manchester United supporters look compact enough to see Carrick go from the coaching chair when in fact his treatment at the beginning of arrival was a little different The performance made the situation a bit more difficult but rather than just making Carrick the scapegoat I think everyone is to blame here because there have been enough coaches who have been victims at Manchester United not just coaches but players. But indeed when a club's performance declines in the end it is the coach who is always the easy thing to blame because he is in charge on the pitch. A little regrettable for a player who can be said to be one of the legends in the golden era of Manchester United and when it comes to being hailed as one of the successors to bring Manchester United out of the dark era, the treatment he is getting now has changed only because of the course of the season which is not too good.
