Hello,

I am looking for ways to sell my bitcoin with minimal verification. Minimal verification because I don't like taking pictures with my IDs and to show them around the web.

One of the best and most recommended exchange is localbitcoins. Has anybody use them? How would you rate it 1-10?
The thing that scares me is that it seems that they work like an online wallet of some kind and it seems really difficult to use for me as I do not understand it. To be able to contact a person to sell him for cash I need to have bitcoins on their exchange, the problem is that there are not many buyers in my area and that the recent active one was last online like a week ago (he states that he has mobile messages) but I do not know what will happen if I have my bitcoins there and that guy doesn't reply, or even how to use the exchange....

Also I have found this one https://spacebtc.com/ - would any of you recommend them?? They seem to have verification where I only put my name address mobile etc. but without ID which is great for me.

And 3rd exchange I found on https://payeer.com/en/ - they seems like an really easy one to use and they can send the money to my card need only my number and the name of card holder. To be able to send to my card do I need to send them selfie with my ID or not???

And 4th Mycelium trader (but the person is to far away that want to trade bitcoin, he is in another country which doesn't suit me...)..

To many people seem to recommend payeer and localbitcoins.com BUT on other side there are even negative comments. I read that payeer is insecure and that it shouldn't be trusted while for localbitcoins.com I found that they even freeze users accounts and ask for ID verification... I had truble finding reviews for spacebtc....

If there is some other way please tell me, I want to sell my bitcoins safe and easy way. If you have exp with these exchanges that I have listed or if you know other one please write your opinions I will much appreciate them.

Thank you in advance for taking your time to help me  Smiley Smiley Smiley

Looking at spacebtc, I would avoid it.  It takes Perfect Money which is always accepted by scam sites and only a few other places to be honest.  It's probably not a scam but it might be shady, and regardless it has super low volume.

You should definitely use LocalBitcoins if you can, the online bit is just an escrow system - this basically means that LocalBitcoins is holding your coins so that they can be released after the buyer gives you the fiat for it, then the buyer knows you're not scamming him/her.  Make sure you trade in a public place though to be safe.

It depends on from which country you are. You can find some native sellers who can do bank transfer and buy bitcoin from you.

But beware, you might get scammed if the buyer is black heart.

Just like above said, it depends on your country.

I give a example: coinbase.

Coinbase is convenient for the country it support
but even they don't have online customer service at the country they don't support
(they will check your ip to define your country)

U can check if at your place got local exchange, maybe it support your bank and easy for customer service.
Until u know bitcoin world ald, u can sell at localbitcoin, but U need to negotiate with your buyers online.

Greetings, we need more information from you to determine what would be the easiest way to sell bitcoins, factors such as how much bitcoin you want to sell and what payment methods you can accept are important.

If you have paypal and you are dealing with small amounts of bitcoin then the forum is the best place to trade but if you are dealing with large amounts and want a different payment method then I suggest localbitcoins, even if they require ID verification.

My paypal is limited since I don't want to give them scanned copy of my ID (don't like leaving it on the Internet).

I have around 0.15 that I am looking to sell, but at end most likely I will sell through localbitcoins, took me a while to get around the website but I have watched some tutorials on youtube that made me understand how does it all work.

@terrate coinbase is not available in my country.

Just there is one question if lets say I chose to sell for cash how much time I need to wait for their response (or I am able to cancel my request at any time)? Or better way would be to go through like bank transfer? Another thing how helpful is their support as a middleman in the process - I suppose they are great as they have many users there alrdy.

Thank you all for nice answers, really appreciate your replies! Cool

Localbitcoins site is the best if you want the sold bitcoin amount in fiat currency in you bank directly, as this site is also dealing with escrow service so both the party should not get scammed by any one, Even their rate is also good when comparing to other sites. Their are other option also in this site through which you can get your bitcoin sold.

I am using this site for more then 2 yrs and till now i had not faced any problem

Depending on your country, you might want to try a 2-Way Bitcoin ATM (if available), but be prepared to pay some rather higher exchange fees.

(In case you are not familiar, a 2-Way BTC ATM is an ATM that both fiat money to Bitcoin, and Bitcoin to cash transactions can be done)

Localbitcoin all the way. They great they fast and the have good service. Easy registration. Trusted sellers. Good prices since there many traders. You can meet them even. You don't need to give your ID or nonesense like that. I would never give my ID for a trade that's ridiculous.

Easiest way by far is to sell to family, friends and colleagues. You will be surprised how many people are interested in picking up some btc but lack the opportunity due to the complexity involved in making even a small purchase.

Well, if you want to go in a hard way you have to ask for ID Verification to the buyer of bitcoins and its tough very tough but the easiest way is to sell it to your friends or in your area just use social media on you will sell bitcoin its just easy as that also you can't get scammed by your buyers or customer because its personal selling and you can make bitcoin have a high price..

Its obviously wrong to consider bitcoin is able to sell with the friends and near bys only. Localbitcoin would be the best option for everyone around the forum. Above this quote, you could find the ID verification complexity to sell or buy the bitcoin. If you are just a seller. Just you need to verify your email and phone number. Traders only need to verify the Government proofs and other things to do the trade. Therefore, selling the bitcoin is so easy in localbitcoins.

So many trusted exchangers, such as coinbase or other sites. It's very reliable, you just have to try it. If you are in doubt, use a small amount for the experiment, it will get better.
