In spite of the rocky start in the ANN thread Torcoin is a really good idea and it could really blow up. The price hit $10 today breifly after only being listed for a week. Also, a darknet market news site ran an article speculating if Torcoin could be accepted on the markets. The Owner has also been running banner ads on coinmarketcap. The website looks pretty good also.

There are only ever going to be 12 Million coins created. That small supply could lead to huge prices if this catches on. It might really blow up in the next 24 hours as there has been 235 BTC worth of Tor traded today.

It's currently trading at over $1.50 (edit 30 mins later $2.75) on C-Cex.com

B. upteenth ANON released, yeah has the onion, so do a few others.

The old Tor is dead and this coin has nothing to do with it.

It's trading on NovaExchange and C-Cex.

And with Transfer ? If I remember correctly, it offered also Tor features. But OP might be right, or not. Time will tell.

On TorCoin you are actually helping the Tor Network by running a node on the wallet. Once it switches to POS this will mean people are actually getting paid to make the Tor Network stronger.

No, premine is too high, name is stolen logo also. Nothing new here, nothing special about this coin. And recently somebody try to pump price on C -CEX . Fake pump, i guess -  dev team tried to prepare positions for dumping of premine. I will avoid this one, i donćt need this risk.

I actually find the idea really good but when they said that they have nothing to do with that old TOR then something darkened on my mind. They have the logo indeed and the onion but they are not in anyway affiliated with TOR...that is not really nice. I hope they got the approval first of the old TOR or work with them collaboratively, maybe. Anyway, I wish TorCoin great success.
