Sometimes I can't remote desktop to my rig. I saw that all the card still have the fan active.

I wonder if it mines or not.

Register that rig as an individual worker and watch your pool's website.  If it drops to zero you know you have a problem.

that and enabling mail alerts for each rig on the worker page for the pool are probably the easiest

What they said. Make every rig a different worker at the pool and set up alerts.

I use minerstat.com to keep tabs on my rigs so I'm not remoting in all the time.

minerstat.com is good? So do we have to use their pool? Is this the same with http://minerstat.xyz/

There is no pool set up yet. You can use any pool you like.

It is the same site  Wink

Just use a pool with e-mail alerts.

Your rigs should run for weeks/months without needing attention.

Current software is very stable.

Which pool have email alerts?

If we do not use their pool how do they "know" our hashrate, etc.

Most pools have email alerts. I use ethermine and flypool and have email alerts set up.

If you are solo mining then you would have to look on the console for hash rates.

xmrpool.net also sends e-mail when the worker hashrate is too low (or zero), although for my CPU sometimes (very rarely) sends "false positive" mails too.
But they state it's beta so I'm happy with them.

As everyone said you can use your pool website but you must know that pool's website is lagging than your real hashrate , i mean that your rig may go offline and you don't know at the same moment because of the pools website lagging
