I will have a few TB's unused in the coming months. What storage coin is worth looking into?

SIA or SJCX? Or maybe Burst?

I looked into Burst at one point but never set it up fully. I dont think you will make a ton with any of these at this point but it could be a better alternative to ASICs. Your best bet is probably to pick one and see how it performs for you. You can always bounce between them if need be.

Incase you are talking about making profit then you must have a big space not just 1 or 2 TBs , i tried burst before it's a good coin with good speculation the only difficult part of burst mining is the plotting part it's too slow you will need a good gpu or cpu to do it fast , but the good news is you do the plotting one time only then you mine using only the HDD ...
Sia isn't mined with hdd , but you can rent your free space through it.

Unless you have free juice and hundreds or thousands of TB, last time I checked HDD mining really isn't profitable at all. There are some calculators online, for instance for burst:

http://burstcoin.biz/calculator

10TB will get you ~ 10'000 burst per month, which at current rates is something like 20$

Hey just asking to see if anyone even bothered with this...

Yeah, mining is probably not the right term when talking about the "rent out your storage coins". But just wondering what gives the best payout.

Hey that doesn't seem too bad. I will have 12TB free for a month or two.
