WoW! Are you guys watching, just Wow!

I am so happy for you that you are able to amass such amount of LTC and you can now brag about it. But all the same that will not make those who are not interested in it now change their mind because personally, I am yet to see the basis for the appreciation of it price to warrant some one like me to consider even investing in it. Just be smart about it my simplest opinion to you.

I have been watching the news on ltc closely for the last few days, and I like what has occurred, I have owned my LTC for a while, now, way prior to any of the news. I believe there will be money to be made.

Chikun will do as DASH has done. It happens when nobody believes it's possible.

Note that there are 4x as many LTC as BTC....a ratio of 0.25. Therefore 0.1 BTC per LTC is not out of the question....if BTC hardforks more than 0.1 is possible IMHO  Shocked

I would be happy with LTC at $120.00, however, it could go much higher, if those in charge play their cards right. We shall see.

There is this thing that people call "FOMO" that's it, Fear Of Missing Out, I'd love to see people profiting in a healthy community without scamming, pump & dump and manipulation to take away from poor and add to the wealth of the already rich but I think the only winners in this scenario are the ones mined LTC years back and now have hundreds of thousands even millions of LTCs.
I believe us the average fucks(Joe)lol if buy in on any crypto we're already buying the hype filling the pockets of riches to make them even richer, for EG, ETH was under $7 but all of a sudden skyrocketed way above $40.
I have to agree on LTC as the only exception though, if you buy now while it's relatively cheaper than ETH before the pump and after the pump accounting the difference in the price.

We might as well wake up next morning and see LTC at $20 and the next day at $25 and so on you know how this works Smiley Smiley  Cool.

LTC will never be traders's major coin like BTC is at the moment. As a matter of fact, no coin will replace BTC. Bitcoin had at least 15M$ of daily volume after the Gox. And it is 200-500M$/24h lately. It is the main beast.

Now are you living in reality where Science Rules or in a Fantasy Land where your imagination rules.

Because BTC is priced too high , its Transaction fees are too high.

The Majority will switch to LTC once the coinbase wallet is online so fast it will blow your mind.
For the rest of the world BTC is a product/service not a religion where it can only go up.
LTC is Faster, 4X Transaction capacity, & has a cheaper fee system.

Any of you that can not see LTC is going to demolish BTC , need to study economics.
Especially the term Priced out of the Market, which is BTC major problem, it costs to much for the general populace.

LTC can go to $50 for a 5X increase , BTC has to go to over $5000 for a 5X increase.
Plus everyone seems to forget the same Miners, Chinese  Wink are the majority miners in both PoW coins.
They produce more LTC than BTC , they will make more money on LTC increases than BTC, look for a major Chinese move toward LTC away from BTC and a major price drop in BTC because of it , in the coming months. Chinese are going to leave the slow witted holding the BTC Bag.

i think there are some staggeringly deep ltc bags out there who'll be primed to offload. considering how willing the market is pump stuff that is obvious junk, there are certainly legs to go much higher, but ultimately it would be an empty pump that would fall back down short term.

long term it's a great buy. i won't be getting caught up in the current hype.

If Litecoin goes from $10 to $20 it's no big deal except everyone holding Litecoin just doubled their money. If they invested $20,000 in Litecoin they now have $40,000.

In order for investors buying into Bitcoin today to double their money Bitcoin would need to jump to $3,000 each. How long is that going to take exactly?

Understand the excitement yet. LOL

Of course, that's why people screw around with them. Is for a quick profit.

Bitcoin people don't have the luxury of being quick profit people because the price is already too high for that. Bitcoin people need to be long term hold people and sit on their btc for years and years.

I don't believe ltc is "obvious junk". It has a lot of good things going on, and if BTC doesn't get their shit together, who knows what could happen, so we shall see.

ltc definitely isn't junk. most of the other stuff that pumps is. if junk can pump then so can ltc and even more so if people interested in non shit get on board.

Don't get carried away by over evaluating Litecoin's growth prospect. Litecoin was always fast, had low fees and there is no need for any form of scaling upgrade.
Adding SegWit is not mandatory, it is additional feature not necessary upgrade needed for Litecoin to evolve. Let say it now: Bitcoin needs SegWit. Litecoin would be fine without it.

This. There was never an issue so this whole segwit situation is really irrelevant. I mean sure it shows the devs are staying in front of the issues (unlike bitcoins) but it's not fundamentally going to change anything like fees or wait times. It's all hyped and speculation and in the end the bubble will pop because really there's no real benefit to anyone.

LOL why as alternative you give LTC while ETH is much better 16s block quite cheap transactions, will have LN.
ETH have better volume over time. ETH have real transaction like 70k-100k.
I am almost full in BTC but if i should look alternative ETH is much better.
ETH as coin will be free from greedy Jihan and his ASICs monopoly.
THIS IS GREAT POINT too to consider - environment without that cancer.

Today much more people chose ETH than LTC as alternative and man ETH is much more usefull than LTC.
LTC have 12miners government vs ETH Vitalik government i don't see much difference here in both systems "users" are the one who counts. Okay ETH with ETC has given users chose that LTC doesn't give.

To be honest if I would invest then ETH is 10x better bet on future projects.
LTC have nice boost of segwit but NO ONE use LTC and in jam people use ETH more than LTC.

ETH Hard forks too much, and its pretense that it's smart contracts will hold up in different judicial systems , is extremely laughable.

LTC does the job and has the capacity to do it.
Plus the Chinese love LTC, not so much eth.

a true bitcoin believer might well switch wholesale to ltc if it was necessary. alongside btc it's one of the few coins that had an honest launch.

i for one would never replace btc with eth. it's centralised, bloated, insanely hyped and probably not capable of delivering what it promises.

i'm sure it'll find a purpose and more success. adhering to bitcoin's principles is not one of them.

i think if we don't want to replace our bitcoin into another coins, then we can save our bitcoin into our wallet and waiting for another increase of the price. but if the altcoins suddenly gets pump, i think we don't have to be sad because we are not join into the party and only save the bitcoin. i think its a good idea if we can buy some ltc and we save it for a while until we can see the price is increase like other altcoins.

Segwit offers more than larger blocks, it offers new technologies, that can be incorporated into the coin. So it's not about higher fees, faster transactions at all, at least not with LTC. Read up on what SegWit will bring to Litecoin and you will see what I am talking about.

Lite coin just revive, there future still full of uncertainty, even though the price is keep on rising and many people said that litecoin is going to be the strongest alt coin but it is still unstable and hasn't really attracted a lot of people, but showing a positive growing, I won't put too many of fund into litecoin but it's still worth to try to invest in litecoin
