No its not that, I'm using broadband and its not shared.
I just wanted to know if that is a wallet issue, because sometimes it works fine too and sometimes just won't connect to the bitcoin network at all.
Just tried now and it connected within seconds.
If you suspicious is your internet can you give an ping results or speedtest.
Maybe you have a lose packet in your internet that is why you are halving this issue.
