Ethereum Classic Pump?

I just checked the price of ETC and it shot up to $3.27 on 03/17/17 and it has hovered around there for the last 5 days. Do you guys think it's just a pump and dump? Would it be wise to sell my ETC now? I could exchange my $100 worth of ETC for either ripple or litecoin.

Most cryptos went up in the past months in a bubble, meaning eventually most of them will go back down. Only a few will stay at curent levels. ETC currently doesn't have much going for itself to justify current levels since there's no serious interest in using it as an ethereum platform for dapp or smart contracts. Atleast not something that matters ( it may have some usage as experimentation like every other blockchain has ).

Volumes of trade have grown quite well.

it's what i'm doing, now LTC has more attention, i'm getting rid of the dust from ETC and ZEC classic, both have done their times, the strategy is always the same, jump on the ship that is everyone jumping in, money are always guaranteed in this way, very profitable, still i think litecoin is only a pump and dump and will crash soon i'll leave fast if that begin to happen

I jsut don't like Ethereum Classic because its price movement is slower than many other coins. It is a good coin for long term investors but it creeps up slowly which is not fast enough for me. I am a trader so I prefer buying volatile coins which can help me to earn profit in a very short time.

i think you did good. litecoin has more potential to go up at this point because of the massive SegWit hype that it has. so although ETC seems to be rising a bit more still, but i say investing in LTC is a better idea, unless you have enough money to diversify in both.

we all know and agree that "Ethereum" is a copy coin and scam. it doesn't matter what comes after the T, it is still the same buggy and poorly coded platform.

What a shame, no volatility, no demand just a little market movement. This is not the original ethereum has made by vitalik. A lot of attention goes to the original platform such as ethereum.
