Yobit 2fa

So I visited yobit and it says the site is secure [Picture below for reference]

But I noticed that it is not when I tried to view a coin [Picture below for reference]


So I go to settings to enable the 2fa but when I entered the code from google authenticator, it says invalid code . I tried both scanning the QR code and secret key, I got the same result .

What is happening? Is this some kind of phishing or is it just an error from their site cause my funds is currently healthy .

just do yourself a favor and stop using Yobit!
try many other exchanges that are far better than that place. you can try smaller exchanges if you like such as c-cex or cryptopia or bigger ones such as poloniex and bittrex. they all have a proper website, with a decent API and 2FA and a working support and there is not much shady stuff going on in any of them.

but as for your question. i think they changed some stuff about their website, which may be the cause of https going away! i checked it and for some reason it asks me to fill in a captcha to open the site!
and for the 2FA key you only have to contact support and hope they answer you in less than a week.

Everything is just fine.



What you need to do is:

1)remove 2Fa from your phone
2)scan code again
3)enter 2fa and enable it.

I stopped using yobit since long ago but because of a certain coin I've logged in and use it again . This explains why my 2fa is disabled even though every accounts I'm using has it enabled . I've contacted their support and unfortunately they didn't give a solution . Here's what I got:

Hello, I tried this and got the same results . I guess I will have to create a new account, try to enable 2fa and if it succeeded I will transfer my funds . Seems like the HTTPS issue has also been solved when I tried accesing it . I will be updating if it works
