p2pool help

So, i have some issues with p2pool. I'm trying to setup my own pool, so i've been reading about p2pool but i quite don't understand a lot about that. So here some questions if someone can answer me:
1. Can i run my own pool with p2pool? (e.g. like pushpool)
2. Would I be able to use a system like PPS ou PPLNS to the users of my pool?
