Hi! Im trying to claim my btx by importing my bitcoincore wallet.dat to bitcore wallet, before doing that I transfered my btc to another wallet. I followed this instruction https://steemit.com/crypto-news/@xwerk/bitcore-btx-guide-the-2nd-snapshot-for-btc-hodlers-free-btx-or-how-it-works, after that I open my BTX Wallet but my wallet doesnt get the 50% BTX coins.

Mining Tech & Claiming Update

Dear Bitcore-Community,

We are proudly announcing full Segwit-address-support for miningpool yiimp.com.
Segwit transactions should now be confirmed within a few blocks.
We hope to see greater SegWit adoption on other pools soon, so Bitcore will be one of the first networks running with full SegWit support.

On an other note our dev Jon is currently working hard on a solution to allow claiming for BTC holders that used a segwit address (starting with 3 instead of 1) during our 2nd snapshot from 2nd of November.
So stay tuned for some great wallet support updates regarding claiming in the next days.

Your Bitcore team

Great News!!! Cant wait to see more Pools coming in.

FYI, Bit-Z support is very good and timely. Much better than HitBTC.

Too expensive to Withdraw though! 0.5% ??!

Few times i ask here for solution to claim BTX from Segwit BTC address start with 3......, finally i found working solution, if any is interested :
Method is discussed here https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/7dan76/help_importing_a_segwit_private_key_into_bitcon/

Quote
If the keys are empty, the easiest way is to download this page https://iancoleman.io/bip39/. You can run it locally (without internet access). Put your seed, enter BIP49 derivation and locate your address. Take the key and import it into Core. Core should recognize it. It's better to do it on a newly generated wallet (to make the next step easier)

Then, things start to get interesting. Core does not know that it is a segwit key. You have to generate redeeming script for the witness with addwitnessaddress command. But you have to know the key hash of the public key. There are tools avaiable for that but probably the easiest would be to export the wallet to a text file dumpwallet "filename" from Core console. Read the file and locate the address (you will recognize by the private key). Then return to console and do addwitnessaddress address. That is still not enough. You have to rescan the wallet. Exit Core and run it with -rescan option.

Yes, btx blockchain size incredible. In comparison with his father, bitcoin, BTX is like a PC of 2017 against PC 2007. Looks like externally, but a hundred levels more powerful

chill out Smiley, the blockchain is much smaller because it does not carry the BTC transactions. It's like an empty truck vs a loaded one Smiley

This way is much better then miss the Airdrop, like some guys here did, because of HitBTC.

So what was the total amount of BTX airdropped this Monday? 60,000?
It means 1,800,000 BTX are subscribed vs ~1,400,000 BTX last week.
28%more..

445.5030162 BTX plus
44867.82140 BTX

The total coins distributed in the last airdrop were 45313.32 BTX.

Any news for the slogan contest?
We will release something tonight or tomorrow.

is a amount of wallets public which received this weeks airdrop? Not registered wallets!

only registered addresses always receive weekly airdrops. if you mean the airdrops before we brought in the registration forms, you always can have a look in our googlesheet.

Is Bit-Z a good exchange? Never heard of them before, let alone used them. Just want to know if others are using before I take the plunge. Thanks.

Well... they took 12 BTX from my monday airdrop. That was more than USD 400 at the time.

I'm a Level 3 verified member but they managed to froze my 400 BTX withdrawal for more than 48h, without a single communication. I had to contact them via e-mail and send them AGAIN a picture of myself holding my ID to clear the transaction.

Of course they ignored my e-mail when I politely asked them for my 12 BTX.

And for this wonderful withdrawal service they also charged me USD 70 (2 BTX at the time).

It seems that HITBTC is having withdrawal delays, but I will give them a try and from now on I will avoid Bit-z.

Cryptopia worked fine for me for small amounts.

More than 48 hours and still nothing for my Btx withdrawal on Hitbtc, i have send a second ticket but there is no response.
I advise  you not to trade on this exchange until they clarify its position.
