bitcorepool having issues, no block moving, immature balance and pending balance are zero. even tho I'm mining

That's because no pool seems to be generating blocks. The probability that no pool happens to generate a block in 1 hours and 42 minutes is extremely low.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

I also have two personal nodes running, both stuck at the same block number.

I hope that this is not a case of block withholding: https://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/4943/what-is-a-block-withholding-attack

I've been trying to warn people not to allow bitcorepool.cc to grow too large. If the hashpower is spread on more pools, doing this kind of attack becomes harder.

well i got my 10 BTX without issue, and im not so rich Wink
I do not think so. The current BTX price is about $ 25, if you have 10 BTX it equals $ 250. In my opinion it's not too little. I think BTX price will soon increase because this coin has a promising future.

If you have 10 BTC which are now worth over 130,000$, I guess you can easily afford buying 10 BTX for 250$ if you cannot get them with the airdrop any more. At the time of the first snapshot I had 7 BTC or so and I've got 7 BTX, but after a while when I've started to appreciate the coin I've told to myself "what the hell!" and I've started buying it. Now I've got more than 1000 BTX and I am much  more happy than if I'd got only the 7 airdropped ones.  Grin

You guys might want to spread hash a little around so not the whole network goes down when one pool has a problem ;-)

Fist time trying to mine and followed the tutorials. I grabbed the spmod2 file from the official Facebook group (updated Dec 15th, 2017). Windows defender is throwing a fit about ccminer, stating the trojan win32/Vagger!rfn is contained in the file and immediately quarantines it. I could turn off windows defender but that makes me nervous. I looked into past threads on bitcointalk and I see references that this was fixed.

Suggestions?

My pool is running at -1% fee, welcome Smiley. I can afford that until it grows to 1 GH/s at least.

I hope we get to hear the reason for this 2 hour network outage. It seemed to affect all pools, not just bitocrepool.cc

Suprnova found a block but were on a wrong difficulty, while bitcorepool and yiimp were on the right difficulty but their blocks were rejected. It seems it was a wrong blocktemplate config on suprnova or something like that that caused it. I am sure @ocminer can explain better.

--ypsi

In simple words: I've configured stratum correctly, the others not Smiley :-P

What was the setting that caused this? In any case, seems like something else is also configured wrong, if a mistake by one pool operator can cause a network wide outage!

EDIT: Oh scratch that, I misread at first. So only SuprNova was configured correctly?

Nice, finally! Thanks devs and cmc! Cheesy

The simultaneous pool outage and the cmc-update scared the shit out of me - I even had to log in here and write something haha :´)
